< Ephesians 5 >
1 Become ye, therefore, imitators of God, as children beloved,
Sen loong ah Rangte suh asah angphiino, sen uh heh likhiik angsuh sumthun ejih.
2 And walk in love—even as, the Christ also, loved you, and delivered himself up in your behalf, an offering and sacrifice unto God, for a fragrance of sweet smell.
Sen loong roidong doh minchan eje ang theng, Kristo ih seng loong minchan heeno heh roidong kota ah likhiik ah, heh roidong ah phontum tingtak ah likhiik seng khojoop roop kota eno erah suh Rangte ah eroon ela.
3 But, fornication, and all impurity, or covetousness, let it not be named among you—even as becometh saints;
Sen loong ah Rangte mina angphiino, sen jaachi nah roomjup roomtong, ethih ekhah adoleh nyamnyook loong jeela ah tapunka ang ah.
4 And shamelessness and foolish talking, or jesting, —which things are beneath you, —but, rather, giving of thanks;
Adoleh mih thetkhat jengkhaap, mih tam jengkhaap adoleh ethookchaat ettheng jengkhaap loong ah lajeng theng. Erah nang ebah Rangte suh lakookmi li an.
5 For, this, ye know, if ye take note—that no fornicator, or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.
Sen ih jat ehan roomjup roomtongte, ethih ekhah mina, adoleh nyamnyook ramkaate (nyamnyook ah tongmih soomtuute thanthan) ah Rangte nyia Kristo Hasong nah tachoh wangka.
6 Let no one be deceiving you with empty words; for, because of these things, is coming the anger of God upon the sons of obstinacy:
O ih uh lalangka jengkhaap nawa ih naktoom mokwaan han; heh jeng laboichaatte mina sak nah Rangte tenkhat raaha.
7 Do not, then, become co-partners with them;
Erah likhiik mina damdoh lajamwaan theng.
8 For ye were, at one time, darkness, but, now, are ye light in the Lord, —as children of light, be walking,
Sen teenuh teewah rangnak ni angtan, enoothong Teesu noksong ih hoon anno, sen loong ah rangwu ni. Erah raangtaan ih sen loong ah rangwu mih likhiik ih songtong an,
9 For, the fruit of the light, is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth, —
tiimnge liidi rangwu ah ih mathan ese, kateng, nyia amiisak tiit ah thoksiit hala.
10 Putting to the test what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;
Seng Teesu ah tiimjih suh roonla erah jat suh thun an.
11 And be not joining in fellowship in the unfruitful works of darkness, but, rather, be even administering reproof;
Mina loong ah lalang lajang reeraang rumla adoh sen roong reeraangjih tah angka, erah nang ebah neng loong ah rangwu nah doksiit an. (
12 For, of the secret things which are brought to pass by them, it is, shameful, even to speak!
Amiimiidi husah ni erah reeraang rumla ah rakmu riike jih.)
13 All things, however, when reproved by the light, become manifest, for, all that of itself maketh manifest, is, light;
Eno neng husah ni reela loong ah rangwu nah angta no, neng dangjang ah wuusa nah dongjat thuk ah;
14 Wherefore it saith—Up! thou sleeper, and arise from among the dead, and the Christ will shine upon thee.
tiimnge liidi rangwu nah angta no jirep ah rangwu eh hoon ah. Erah raangtaan ih tiitthaak jeela, “Saat an, mokjupte loong, etek nawa esaat ih an, eno sen khothung nah Kristo ah phaak ah.”
15 Be taking heed, therefore, exactly how ye are walking, —not as unwise, but as wise, —
Erah raangtaan ih rapniine ih songtong an. Tiim uh lajatte mina songtongla ah likhiik ih nak songtong an, erah nang ebah mongtham ese jatte likhiik eh songtong an.
16 Buying out for yourselves the opportunity, because, the days, are evil;
Sen saapoot ah mootse kaatse nah maak an, tiimnge liidi aanapja rangwu saakaan ah ethih.
17 For this cause, do not become foolish, but have discernment as to what is the will of the Lord;
Erah raangtaan ih, nak baang thaang an, seng Teesu ih tiim reethuk thung ah erah mokah an.
18 And be not getting drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be getting filled in Spirit; —
Kham ah jok anno nakmok an, erah ih bah anba thet haat ho, erah nang ebah, Chiiala damdoh tong an.
19 Speaking to yourselves, with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs; singing, and striking the strings, with your heart unto the Lord;
Sen loong ah rangsoom boongkaat, seehoon damdoh roongwaan an; eno sen ten ih jam anno seng Teesu suh rangphoong rangsoom seehoon boongkaat ah se koh an.
20 Giving thanks, always, for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto your God and Father;
Seng Teesu Jisu Kristo mendoh, seng Wah Rangte suh saarookwet lakookmi li an.
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in reverence of Christ, —
Wasiit ih wasiit jeng chaatchaat eh an tiimnge liidoh sen ih Kristo soomtu han.
22 Ye wives, unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord,
Hesanuh loong, Teesu jeng chaatchaat elan ah likhiik sen sawah loong jeng chaatchaat e an.
23 Because, a husband, is the head of his wife, as, the Christ also, is the head of the assembly, he, being the saviour of the body, —
Tiimnge liidi, chaas tokkhodi Kristo chaan aphaan jeela ah likhiik hesanuh tokkhodi hesawah chaan aphaan ah jeela; eno heh sakpuh, chaas adi Kristo heh teeteewah ah chaas pangte.
24 Nevertheless, as, the assembly, submitteth herself unto the Christ, so, the wives, unto their husbands, in everything:
Erah raangtaan ih, chaas heheh ih Kristo suh look haat koha ah likhiik hesanuh loong ah ih neng teenuh hesawah suh look haat kottheng.
25 Ye husbands, be loving your wives, even as, the Christ also, loved the assembly, and delivered, himself, up in her behalf,
Hesawah loong, Kristo ih chaas ah minchan ano heh roidong kota ah likhiik sen sanuh ah minchan ih an.
26 That, her, he might sanctify, having purified [her] with the bath of water, in declaration,
Kristo ih heh jengkhaap chaan nawa ih chaas ah esa ang thukla, eno ju nawa ih saachot ano saachamcham eh angla.
27 That, he, might present, unto himself, the assembly, all glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any of such things, but that she should be holy and blameless;
Kristo ih erah reeta ah langla, chaas ah jaaseemoong—saachamcham tiimdi uh lamoong, amasah taan uh lamak adoleh jihoh tiim nah uh ethih angjih nak toom ang ah ngeh ih reeta.
28 So, ought the husbands [also] to be loving their own wives, as their own bodies, —he that loveth his own wife, loveth himself,
Miwah ih neng sanuh ah neng sakpuh minchanha ah likhiik minchan theng. O miwah ih heh sanuh minchanha erah ih heh teeteewah minchanha. (
29 No one, in fact, ever yet hated, his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, —even as, the Christ, the assembly,
Seng teeteewah o ih uh tamiksukke. Erah nang ebah, Kristo ih chaas riikoi sokboiha ah likhiik sengteewah raangtaan ih jam phaksah hi adoleh riikoi sokboi hi;
30 Because, members, are we of his body; —
tiimnge liidi seng loong ah sakpuh esiit ni roopli.)
31 For this cause, will a man leave his father and his mother, and will cleave unto his wife, and, they two, shall become, one flesh.
Rangteele ni amah liiha, “Erah raangtaan ih miwah ih henuh hewah ah thiinhaat ano hesanuh damdoh roongroop ah, eno enyi ah esiit ih hoon ah.”
32 This sacred secret, is, great, —I, however, am speaking as to Christ and [as to] the assembly; —
Rangteele adi husah tiit dongjat thuk ha—ngah ih Kristo nyia chaas tiit ah baat hang.
33 Nevertheless, ye also, do ye, individually, each man be so loving, his own wife, as himself, and, the wife, [see] that she reverence her husband.
Enoothong aradi sen suh eli ih halan; hesawah warep ih hesanuh ah minchan jaatjaat etheng, eno hesanuh nurep ih hesawah ah choomjoot etheng.
