1 Apollos Korint shehiridiki waqtida, Pawlus seper qilip, ichki quruqluq arqiliq Efesus shehirige keldi. U yerde bezi muxlislar bilen uchriship,
And it came to pass, while Apollos was in Corinth, Paul, passing through the upper parts, came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples;
2 ulardin: — Siler étiqad qilghininglarda, Muqeddes Roh silerge ata qilin’ghanmu? — dep soridi. — Yaq, biz hetta Muqeddes Roh bar dégenni zadi anglimaptikenmiz, — dep jawab berdi ular.
and he said unto them—Holy Spirit, received ye, when ye believed? And they said unto him—Nay! not even whether there is Holy Spirit, did we hear.
3 Pawlus yene: — Undaqta, siler qandaq chömüldürülüshte chömüldürülgensiler? — dep soridi. — Biz Yehya [peyghember] yetküzgen chömüldürülüshni qobul qilduq, — dédi ular.
And he said—Into what, then, were ye immersed? And, they, said—Unto John’s immersion.
4 Pawlus: — Yehya [peyghember] xelqqe yetküzgen chömüldülürüsh bolsa gunahlargha towa qilishni bildüridighan chömüldürülüsh bolup, ulargha özidin kéyin kelgüchige, yeni Eysagha étiqad qilish kéreklikini tapilighanidi, — dédi.
Then said Paul—John, immersed with an immersion of repentance, unto the people, saying, that, on him who was coming after him, they should believe, —that is, on Jesus.
5 Ular buni anglap, Reb Eysaning namida chömüldürülüshni qobul qildi.
And, when they heard [this], they were immersed into the name of the Lord Jesus;
6 Pawlus qolini ularning üstige tegküzüp turushi bilen, Muqeddes Roh ulargha chüshti. Buning bilen ular namelum tillarda sözleshke hem peyghemberlerche wehiy-bésharetlerni yetküzüshke bashlidi.
and, Paul laying hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
7 Ular texminen on ikki erkek kishi idi.
And all the men were about twelve.
8 Pawlus üch ay dawamida [Efesus shehiridiki] sinagogqa kirip, yüreklik bilen söz qilip, ular bilen Xudaning padishahliqidiki ishlar toghrisida munaziriliship qayil qilishqa tirishti.
And, entering into the synagogue, he was speaking boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the kingdom of God.
9 Lékin beziliri jahilliq qilip ishinishni ret qilip, xalayiq aldida [Rebning] yoligha haqaret keltürgende, Pawlus ulardin chiqip, muxlislarnimu ayrip chiqti. U herküni Tirannus isimlik ademning léksiyixanisida munazire-muzakire ötküzdi.
But, when some were hardening themselves, and refusing to be persuaded, speaking evil of the Way before the throng, withdrawing from them, he separated the disciples; day by day, reasoning in the school of Tyrannus.
10 Bu ish ikki yil dawamlashti. Netijide, Asiya ölkisidiki pütün xelq, Yehudiylar bolsun, Grékler bolsun hemmeylen Rebning söz-kalamini anglidi.
And, this, took place for two years, so that, all who dwelt in Asia, heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.
11 Xuda Pawlusning qolliri arqiliq karamet möjizilerni yaratti.
Mighty works, also, not the ordinary, God was working through the hands of Paul;
12 Kishiler hetta qol yaghliq we pertuqlarni Pawlusning ténige tegküzüp, andin késellerning yénigha apirip, ularning üstige yapatti. Netijide, késeller saqiyip, yaman rohlar ulardin chiqip kétetti.
so that, even unto the sick, were being carried from his body, handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases were departing from them, and, the wicked spirits, were going out.
13 Lékin shu etrapta yüridighan, «jinkesh» Yehudiylarin bezilirimu Reb Eysaning namini ishlitip baqqusi kélip, jin chaplashqanlar üstide turup jinlargha: «Pawlus jakarlawatqan Eysaning namidin sanga qattiq buyruq bérimen!» deydighan boldi.
But certain also of the wandering Jews, exorcists, took in hand to be naming, over them that had the wicked spirits, the name of the Lord Jesus, saying—I adjure you, by Jesus whom Paul proclaimeth!
14 Bu ishni qilidighanlarning arisida Skéwa isimlik bir Yehudiy bash kahinning yette oghlimu bar idi.
And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, a High-priest, who, this thing, were doing.
15 Lékin [ular qoghliwetmekchi bolghan] yaman Roh ulargha jawaben: — Eysani tonuymen, Pawlustin xewirim bar, biraq özünglar kim bolisiler?! — déwidi,
But the wicked spirit. Answering, said unto them—Jesus, [indeed], I am getting to know, and, Paul, I well-know, —but who are, ye?
16 yaman Roh chaplishiwalghan kishi ulargha étilip chiqip, ularni urup shama qilip, ularning üstidin ghalib keldi. Ular yalingach we yarilan’ghan halda öydin qéchip chiqip ketti.
And the man in whom was the wicked spirit, springing upon them, mastering them both, prevailed against them, so that, naked and wounded, fled they out of that house.
17 Bu ish Efesus shehiride turuwatqan barliq Yehudiylar we Gréklergimu melum bolup, qorqunch hemmisini basti we Reb Eysaning nami ulughlandi.
And, this, became known to all—both Jews and Greeks—who were dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified.
18 Netijide, nurghun étiqadchilar burunqi qilghanlirini iqrar qilip, aldigha chiqti.
Many also of them who had believed, were coming, making open confession, and renouncing their practices.
19 Séhirgerlik qilghanlardin nurghun ademler özlirining séhirgerlik kitab-palnamilirini ekélip [bir yerge döwilep], köpchilikning aldida köydürüshti. Bu kitablarning qimmiti jemiy ellik ming kümüsh tenggige yétetti.
And, a good many of them who had practised the curious arts, bringing together the books, were burning them before all; and they reckoned up the prices of them, and found them fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 Shundaq qilip, Rebning söz-kalami küchge ige bolup, berq urup üstünlükke ötti.
Thus, with might, the Lord’s word, was growing and prevailing.
21 Bu ishlar yüz bergendin kéyin, Pawlus könglide, Makédoniye we Axaya ölkisidin ötüp Yérusalémgha bérishqa niyet baghlidi. U: — U yerge barghandin kéyin, Rim shehirini körüp kélishim kérek, — dédi.
Now, when these things were fulfilled, Paul purposed in his spirit, going through Macedonia and Achaia, to be journeying unto Jerusalem, saying—After I have been there, Rome also, must I see!
22 Shuning bilen, u özige yardemde boluwatqanlardin Timotiy bilen Érastus ikkiylenni Makédoniyege ewetiwétip, özi yene bir mezgil Asiya ölkiside turdi.
And, sending off into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timothy and Erastus, he himself, held on awhile in Asia.
23 Del shu chaghda, [Efesus shehiride] [Rebning] yoli toghruluq éghir malimachiliq kötürüldi.
And there arose during that season no small disturbance concerning the Way.
24 Ayal ilah Artémisni süretlep kümüsh tekche-heykellerni yasighuchi Dimitriy isimlik bir zerger bar idi. Uning bu ishi hünerwenlerge köp payda tapquzatti.
For, one Demetrius by name, a silversmith, making [silver] shrines, of Diana, used to bring unto the craftsmen no little business;
25 Dimitriy hünerwenlerni we shuninggha oxshash ishlar bilen shughulliniwatqan bashqa ustilarni yighip, ulargha: — Buraderler, bizning güllinishimizning bu ish bilen baghliq ikenlikini bilisiler;
gathering whom together, and them who in such things wrought, he said—Men! ye well know that, by this business, we have our prosperity;
26 hazir héliqi Pawlusning néme ishlarni qilip yürgenlikini anglighan hem körgen bolushunglar kérek. U: «Qol bilen yasiwalghan nersiler ilahlar emes» déyish bilen, peqet Efesusta emes, belki pütkül Asiya ölkiside dégüdek nurghunlighan kishilerni qayil qilip, azdurup burawatidu.
and ye perceive and hear that, not only in Ephesus, but well-nigh in all Asia, this Paul, hath persuaded and turned away a considerable multitude, saying that they are, no gods, which, with hands, are made.
27 Emdi hazir bizning bu sodimizgha betnam chaplash xewpi bolupla qalmay, belki büyük ayal ilah Artémisning butxanisimu erzimes dep qarilip, hetta Asiya ölkisi we pütkül jahan ibadet qilidighan [bu ayal ilahimizning] shan-sheripimu yoqilish xewpige duch kéliwatidu! — dédi.
And, not only is there danger that this our heritage into ill-repute may come, but even that the temple, of the great Goddess Diana, for nothing, may be counted; also that, even on the point of being pulled down, may be Her Majesty, whom, all Asia and the habitable world, do worship.
28 Bu sözlerni anglighan köpchilik ghezepke chömüp, qayta-qayta: — Efesusluqlarning Artémisimiz büyüktur! — dep chuqan kötürüshke bashlidi.
Now, hearing this, and becoming full of wrath, they began crying aloud, saying—Great, is Diana of the Ephesians!
29 Buning bilen pütkül sheher malimatang bolup ketti. Xalayiq Pawlusning seperdashliridin Makédoniyelik Gayus we Aristarxuslarni tutup sörep, sérk meydanigha tengla yopurulup mangdi.
And the city was filled with the confusion; they rushed also with one accord into the theatre, carrying off with them Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, fellow-travellers of Paul.
30 Pawlus xalayiq arisigha kirmekchi bolghanidi, lékin muxlislar uning kirishige yol qoymidi.
But, Paul, being minded to enter in among the populace, the disciples would not suffer him.
31 Hetta Pawlusning dostliri bolghan ölke emeldarliridin bézilirimu uninggha xewer yetküzüp, uni sérk meydanigha bérishqa tewekkül qilmasliqqa jékilidi.
Moreover, certain of the Asiarchs also, being his friends, sending unto him, were beseeching him not to adventure himself into the theatre.
32 Emdi beziler buni dep warqirisa, beziler uni dep warqiriship, pütün sorun warang-churunggha toldi; kishilerning köpinchisi özlirining némige yighilghanliqinimu bilmeytti.
Others, indeed, were crying out something else; for the assembly had become confused, and, the greater part, knew not for what cause they had come together.
33 Yehudiylar Iskender isimlik ademni aldigha ittirip chiqiriwidi, köpchilik uni aldigha turghuzdi. Iskender köpchilikke qol ishariti qilip, [Yehudiylarni] aqlimaqchi boldi.
Howbeit, out of the multitude, they bare aloft one Alexander, the Jews thrusting him forward; Alexander, however, waving his hand, was wishing to make his defense unto the populace.
34 Biraq köpchilik uning Yehudiy ikenlikini bilip qélip, hemmisi tengla: — Efesusluqlarning Artémisimiz büyüktur! — dep ikki saetche chuqan kötürüp turushti.
But, recognizing that he was a Jew, one voice arose from all for about two hours, as they cried aloud—Great, is Diana of the Ephesians!
35 Axirda, sheherning bash mirzisi xalayiqni tinchlandurup mundaq dédi: — Ey Efesusluqlar! Biz Efesusluqlarning shehirining büyük Artémisning butxanisining we uning asmandin chüshken süritining qoghdighuchisi ikenlikini bilmeydighan kim bar!
Howbeit the town-clerk, having calmed the multitude, saith—Ephesians! why, who is there of mankind that doth not acknowledge the city of Ephesians to be temple-keeper of the Great Diana, and of the [image] that fell from Jupiter?
36 Bu ishlarni inkar qilalmighaniken, özünglarni bésiwélishinglar, bashbashtaqliq qilmasliqinglar kérek.
As these things, then, cannot be denied, it is needful that ye be calmed at once, and, nothing rash, be doing.
37 Chünki siler bu kishilerni bu yerge [soraqqa tartishqa] élip keldinglar; lékin ular ya butxanilarni bulghuchilar ya bizning ayal ilahimizgha kupurluq qilghuchilardin emes.
For ye have brought these men, neither as temple-robbers, nor as defaming our goddess.
38 Eger Dimitriy we uninggha qoshulghan hünerwenlerning melum bir kishining üstidin shikayiti bolsa, soraqxanilar ochuq turmaqta we soraqchi waliylarmu bar. Ular shu yerlerde bir-biri bilen dewalashsun;
If then, Demetrius, and the craftsmen with him, have against anyone an accusation, courts, are being held, and there are, proconsuls: let them accuse one another!
39 we bashqa birer mesililiringlar bolsa, resmiy sorunda bir terep qilinishi lazim.
But, if after, something further, ye are seeking, in the regular assembly shall it be settled.
40 Biz emdi yene bügünki weqeni topilang dep erz qilinish xewpide turuwatimiz; chünki bu malimanchliqning héch sewebi körsitilmigechke, hésabinimu bérelmeymiz-de!
For we are, even in danger of being accused of riot, concerning this day, no cause at all, existing, by reference to which we shall be able to give a reason for this concourse.
41 Bu sözlerni qilip bolup, u yighilghan xalayiqni tarqitiwetti.
And, these things, having said, he dismissed the assembly.
