Јеврејима 1
1 Бог који је некада много пута и различитим начином говорио очевима преко пророка,
God, who at different times and in different ways spoke of old to the fathers by the prophets,
2 говори и нама у последак дана ових преко сина, Ког постави наследника свему, кроз ког и свет створи. (aiōn g165)
hath at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds, (aiōn g165)
3 Који будући сјајност славе и обличје бића Његовог, и носећи све у речи силе своје, учинивши собом очишћење греха наших, седе с десне стране престола величине на висини,
who being a brightness from his glory and an image of his being, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself accomplished a cleansing of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 И толико бољи поста од анђела колико преславније име од њихова доби.
having become so much superior to the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they.
5 Јер коме од анђела рече кад: Син мој ти си, ја те данас родих? И опет: Ја ћу Му бити Отац, и Он ће ми бити Син.
For to which of the angels did he ever say: “Thou art my Son, I this day have begotten thee?” and again: “I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?”
6 И опет уводећи Првороднога у свет говори: и да Му се поклоне сви анђели Божији.
And again, when he hath brought in the first-begotten into the world, he saith: “And let all the angels of God pay him homage.”
7 Тако и анђелима говори: Који чини анђеле своје духове, и слуге своје пламен огњени.
And of the angels he saith: “Who maketh his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire;”
but of the Son: “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; and the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness. (aiōn g165)
9 Омилела Ти је правда, и омрзао си на безакоње: тога ради помаза Те, Боже, Бог Твој уљем радости већма од другова Твојих.
Thou lovedst righteousness, and hatedst iniquity; therefore God, thy God, anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”
10 И опет: Ти си, Господе, у почетку основао земљу, и небеса су дела руку Твојих:
And: “Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst found the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.
11 Она ће проћи, а Ти остајеш: и сва ће остарети као хаљина,
They will perish, but thou remainest; and they will all become old as doth a garment,
12 И савићеш их као хаљину, и измениће се: а Ти си Онај исти, и Твојих година неће нестати.
and thou wilt fold them up as a vesture, and they will be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years will not fail.”
13 А коме од анђела рече кад: Седи мени с десне стране док положим непријатеље Твоје подножје ногама Твојим?
But to which of the angels hath he ever said: “Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?”
14 Нису ли сви службени духови који су послани на службу онима који ће наследити спасење?
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
