Matthew 21

And, when they drew near unto Jerusalem, and came unto Bethphage, unto the Mount of Olives, then, Jesus sent forth two disciples;

saying unto them—Be going into the village that is over against you, and, straightway, ye shall find an ass, bound, and a colt with her, —loose them, and lead them unto me.
3 Tukhomin nin kôm imini an ti khomin, ‘Pumapa'n amin nâng kêng,’ tiin ril ngei roi; hanchu nangni hong min chôi kelen a tih,” a tipe ngeia.
And, if anyone, unto you, say aught, ye shall say—Their Lord, hath, need, —and, straightway, he will send them.
4 Dêipu'n a lei ti sai ahongtung dik theina ranga mahah ahong om ani:
But, this, hath come to pass, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken through the prophet, saying:
5 “Zion khopuilien hah ril roh, En ta, ne rêng hah no kôm a hong zoi ani! Ama hah rangâiinchîn takin sakuording chunga chuongin, male sakuording ate innoi chunga chuongin,” ti hih.
Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Lo! thy King, is coming unto thee, meek and mounted upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of a toiling ass.
6 Masikin ruoisingei hah an va sea, Jisua'n tho ranga a tipe ngei ang han an va thoa:
And the disciples, went, and did as Jesus directed them;
7 Sakuording leh ate hah an hong kaia, an chunga han an puonngei an dâpa, male Jisua a chuonga.
and led the ass and the colt, and laid upon them their garments, and he took his seat upon them.
8 Mipui tamtakin lampuia an puonngei an dâpa; adangngeiin thingbuo an tuka, lampuia an dâpa.
And, the chief multitude, spread their own mantles in the way, and, others, were cutting off young branches from the trees, and spreading them in the way;
9 Mipui Jisua moton tienga lônngei le a nûk tienga jûingei han, “David Nâipasal minpâkin om rese! Pumapa riminga juongpu chu Pathien'n satvur rese! Pathien minpâkin om rese!” tiin an in-ieka.
and the multitudes, they who were going before him and they who were following after, were crying aloud, saying—Hosanna! to the Son of David, Blessed is he that is coming in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
10 Jisua hah Jerusalem a lûtin chu, khopuilien pumpui anrêngin anin tirnata, “Hi mi hih tu mini?” tiin mipui ngeiin an rekela.
And, when he entered into Jerusalem, all the city was startled, saying—Who is this?
11 Lokongei han, “Hi mi hih Dêipu Jisua, Galilee ram Nazareth renga ani,” tiin an thuona.
And, the multitudes, were saying—This, is the prophet Jesus, —He from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 Jisua hah Biekina a lûta, Biekin sûnga neinun juorngei le rochôkngei murdi a rujûlpai ngeia. Sumthûlngei dosângngei le pharvali juorngei sukmunngei khom a nammelet pe ngeia,
And Jesus entered into the temple, and cast out all who were selling and buying in the temple, —and, the tables of the money-changers, he overthrew, and the seats of them who were selling doves;
13 male an kôm, “Pathien lekhabua Pathien'n, ‘Ki in chu chubaithona in tîng an tih,’ tiin ânziek ani. Hannirese nangnin chu inru ngei inthupna khûrin kêng nin sin hi!” a tipe ngeia.
and saith unto them—It is written, My house, a house of prayer, shall be called; but, ye, are making it, A den of robbers!
14 Biekina han mitcho ngei le kholrangei a kôm an honga, a lei mindam ngeia.
And there came unto him blind and lame, in the temple, and he cured them.
15 Ochaisingei le Balam minchupungeiin sinkamâmruoi a sinngei le nâipangngei Biekina, “David Nâipasal kôm Hosanna, Minpâkin om rese!” tia an in-iek hah an mûn chu an ningathik zoia.
But the Chief-priests and the Scribes, seeing, the marvels that he wrought, and the boys who were crying aloud in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! were greatly displeased;
16 Masikin Jisua kôm, “Hi mingei an ti hih ni riet mo?” tiin an rekela. Jisua'n, “Adiktakin ki riet, Minpâkna akipphar pêk rangin nâipangngei le nâitesenngei nin minchu zoi, ti hih nin la pore tet ngâiloi mini?” tiin a thuona.
and said unto him—Hearest thou what these are saying? And, Jesus, saith unto them—Yea: Have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings, hast thou prepared praise?
17 Hanchu Jisua'n anni ngei hah a mâka, khopuilien renga Bethany'a a sea, mahan jân a riek zoi.
And, leaving them behind, he went forth outside the city into Bethany, and spent the night there.
18 Anangtûk jînga chu khopuilien tieng a kîr nôkin Jisua a vonchâm zoia.
And, early, returning into the city, he hungered;
19 Lampui kôla theichang kung ava mua, male ava pana, hannirese abuongei tiloiin chu ite man mâka. Masikin theichang kung kôm han, “Inra nôk tet khâi no roh!” a tipea. Voikhat rengin theichang kung hah ahong thêm zoi. (aiōn g165)
and, seeing one fig-tree by the way, he came up to it, and nothing, found he thereon, save leaves only, —and he saith unto it—No more, from thee, let fruit spring forth, unto times age-abiding, —and the fig-tree, instantly withered away. (aiōn g165)
20 Ruoisingeiin maha an mua, an kamâmzala, “Kho angin mo theichang kung hih athêmpiel kelen hi?” tiin an rekela.
And the disciples, seeing it, marvelled, saying—How instantly, did the fig-tree wither away.
21 Jisua'n an kôm, “Adiktakin nangni ki ril, iemna nin dôna mulungokchâna nin dôn tet nônchu hi theichang kung chunga ko tho ang hin tho thei nin tih. Mahi vai niloiin hi muol kôm khom hin, ‘Inthon inla, tuikhangliena juon pai roh,’ ti ungla juon pai atih.
And Jesus, answering, said unto them—Verily, I say unto you, If ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only, this of the fig-tree, shall ye do, —but, even if, unto this mountain, ye shall say, Be lifted up, and be cast into the sea, it shall be done.
22 Nin iemin chu, chubaithoa nin ngên murdi chu man nin tih,” tiin a thuona.
And, all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
23 Jisua hah Biekina a hong nôka, a minchu lâitakin, Ochaisingei le upangei an honga a kôm, “Tu rachamin mo hi neinunngei hih ni sin? Tumo hi racham nang pêk?” an tia.
And, when he, entered, the temple, the Chief-priests and the Elders of the people, came unto him as he was teaching, saying, By what authority, these things, art thou doing? and, who, to thee, gave, this authority?
24 Jisua'n an kôm, “Chongrekel inkhat kei khomin nangni lei rekel rong, ni nin thuon theiin chu, tu rachamin mo hi neinunngei hih ki sin nangni ril ki tih.
And, making answer, Jesus said unto them—I also, will ask, you, one thing, —which if ye tell me, I also, will tell, you, by what authority, these things, I am doing: —
25 John Baptisma hah kho renga rachamneina mo: Pathien renga mo, miriem renga mo?” a tia. Anni le anni an inkhal zoia, “Imo ei ti rang hi? ‘Pathien renga tiin ei thuon lakin,’ ama'n ei kôm, ‘Ithomo John hah nin iem loi?’ mi tîng a ta.
The immersion by John, whence was it? Of heaven, or of men? But, they, began to deliberate among themselves, saying—If we say, Of heaven; He will say unto us, Wherefore then did ye not believe him?
26 ‘Miriem renga ei ti lakin,’ mipui ngeiin imo minlo rang ei chi, mipui ngeiin John hah Dêipua an be sikin,” an tia.
But, if we say, Of men, we fear the multitude, for, all, as a prophet, are holding John.
27 Masikin Jisua kôm, “Riet mak me.” tiin an thuona. Jisua'n an kôm, “Kei khomin tu rachama mo hi neinunngei hih ki sin, nangni ril uol noning,” a tipe ngeia.
And, making answer to Jesus, they said—We know not. He also, said unto them—Neither do, I, tell, you, by what authority, these things, I am doing.
28 “Atûn, Imo nin mindon? Tienlâia han mi inkhatin nâipasal inik a dôna. A nâi ulienpu kôm ava sea, a kôm, ‘Ka Nâipasal, avien chu grapebila senla, sin va tho roh,’ a tia.
But how, to you, doth it seem? A man, had two sons: coming unto the first, he said, Son! go thy way, to-day, be working in the vineyard.
29 ‘Ama han nuom mu-ung,’ tiin a thuona, aninâka chomolte suole chu a mindon a thûla male a se zoia.
And, he, answering, said, I, sir! and went not;
30 Male inkhat kôm han khom a sea, ma angdênin ava ti nôka. Ama han, ‘O, Pa,’ sêng ki tih, tiin a thuona. Hannirese se maka.
And, coming unto the second, he spake, in like manner, —and, he, answering, said, I will not: afterwards, smitten with regret, he went.
31 Ha mi inik ngei han tu ha mo an pa nuomlam a sin uol?” a tia. “Ulienpu han,” tiin an thuona. Masikin Jisua'n an kôm, “Nangni ki ril: sum rusuongpungei le notizuorngei hin Pathien Rêngrama lût nangni an khêl rang ani hi.
Which of the two, did the will of the father? They say, The latter. Jesus saith unto them—Verily, I say unto you, the tax-collectors and the harlots, are going before you, into the kingdom of God;
32 Baptispu John'n lampui dik nin jûi rang nangni a juong min mua, ama lei iem mak cheia; sum rusuongpungei le notizuorngeiin chu an lei iem ani. Nangni chu nin mu suonûk khomin nin mulungbôkngei thûlin ama iem mak chei.”
For John came unto you, in a way of righteousness, and ye believed him not, —but, the tax-collectors and the harlots, believed him; and, ye, seeing it, were not even smitten with regret, afterwards, so as to believe him.
33 Jisua'n an kôm nanâk, chongmintêk dang rangâi nôk roi a tia. “Voikhat chu tu mini ram pumapa a oma, hah mi han grapebil a thoa, bêr a minkula, grape epna rang khur a choia, a ngâkna rang in insâng a sina. Hanchu grapebil hah inlo mingei ngâk rang ngei kuta bângin, ram danga khuolchai a se zoia.
Another parable, hear ye: —A man there was, a householder, who planted a vineyard, and, a wall around it, placed, and digged in it a wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, —and left home.
34 Grape mara pot zora ahong tungin chu, ânlo mingei kôm han a chang rangtum va lâk rangin a suokngei a tîra.
And, when the season of fruits drew near, He sent forth his servants unto the husbandmen to receive his fruits.
35 Ânlo mingei han a suokngei hah an lei sûra, inkhat an jêma, inkhat an thata, inkhat lung leh an dênga.
And the husbandmen, taking his servants, one, indeed, they beat, and, another, slew, —and, another, stoned.
36 Atharin suok dangngei motona nêka tam uolin a tîr nôka, motona ngei angdênin an lei tho nôk rêka.
Again, sent he forth other servants, more than the first, and they did unto them, likewise.
37 Anûktaka chu, ‘Ka nâipasal hi chu lei jâ ngêt an tih,’ tiin a nâipasal hah an kôm a tîra.
Afterwards, however, he sent forth unto them his son, saying, —They will pay deference unto my son!
38 Hannirese, ânlo mingei han a nâipasal hah an lei mûn chu, ‘Hi mi hih a pumapa nâipasal ani. Hong roi lei that rei u, male a rochon ei man rang ani!’ an tia.
But, the husbandmen, seeing the son, said among themselves, —This, is, the heir: Come on! Let us slay him, and have his inheritance.
39 Masikin an sûra, grapebil pêntieng an vôrpaia, ama hah an that zoi.”
And, taking him, they cast him forth outside the vineyard, —and slew him.
40 “Atûn, grapebil pumapa a hong tikin, ha ânlo mingei hah imo hong lo ta nih?” tiin Jisua'n a rekela.
When therefore the master of the vineyard shall come, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 Anni han a kôm, “Ha mi saloi ngei hah that ngei ngêt a ta, grapebil hah ânlo mingei adang, amara pot zora diktaka changrangtum a pêk ngâi rangpu kôm pêng a tih,” tiin an thuona.
They say unto him—Miserable men! Miserably, will he destroy them; and will let out, the vineyard, to other husbandmen, who will render unto him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jisua'n an kôm, Pathien Lekhabu'n, “In sinpu ngeiin lung mangmunboi anga an hengpai hah, akila lung kâmomtak achang zoi. Ma hah Pumapa tho ania; ei mitmua hin kamâmom ani! a ti hih nin pore ngâiloi mo?” a tipe ngeia.
Jesus saith unto them—Have ye, never, read in the Scriptures, A stone which the builders rejected, the same, hath become, head of the corner: From the Lord, hath this come to pass, and is marvellous in our eyes.
43 Jisua'n a bôksa nôka, “Masikin nangni ki ril, Pathien Rêngram hih nin kôm renga lâkpai nîng ata, amara musuo rang mingei kôm pêk nîng atih.
Wherefore I say unto you, The kingdom of God, will be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof:
44 Tutu hi lung chunga ânpal chu ahârhârin om an ta, hi lungin adel vâng chu innôichit an tih,” a tia.
[And, he that falleth on this stone, will be sorely bruised; but, on whomsoever it may fall, it will utterly destroy him.]
45 Ochaisingei le Phariseengeiin Jisua chongmintêk misîr hah an rietin chu, an chungroi a misîr ani ti an riet zoia.
And the Chief-priests and the Pharisees, hearing his parables, took note, that, concerning them, he was speaking.
46 Masikin ama sûr rang an pût zoi. Aniatachu anni ngei han mipui ngei an chia, mipui ngeiin Jisua hah dêipu'n an be sikin.
And, seeking to secure him, they feared the multitudes; since, for a prophet, were they holding him.
