< Matthew 19 >

1 Jisua'n ha chongngei hah a misîr suole chu Galilee ram renga a suoka, Jordan Tuidung râla Judea rama a sea.
And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, he removed from Galilee and came into the bounds of Judaea beyond the Jordan.
2 Mipui tamtakin an jûia, male ma muna han a mindam ngeia.
And there followed him large multitudes, and he cured them there.
3 Pharisee senkhatngei a kôm an honga, ama min ôk rang pûtin, “I-ihsika khomin min a lômnu a mâk hih ei Balamin aphal mo?” tiin an rekela.
And there came unto him Pharisees, testing him, and saying, —Whether is it allowed a man to divorce his wife, for every cause?
4 Jisua'n an kôm, Pathien lekhabu'n, “Aphut renga miriemngei Mizirpu'n Pasal le nupang a sin, a ti hah nin pore ngâiloi mini?
And, he, answering, said—Did ye never read—He who created at the beginning, Male and female, made them, —
5 Mapêna, Pathien'n, ‘Hi sika hin pasalin a nu le a pa mâk a ta, a lômnu leh inruol an ta, male, an ruonin takpum khat hongni an tih,’ a ti ani.
and said—For this cause, will a man leave his father and his mother, and be united to his wife, —and, the two, will become, one flesh;
6 Masikin mi inik nikhâi mak ngeia, pumkhat kêng an ni zoi. Pathien'n munkhata a mozomsai chu miriemin an sensâi tet rang nimak,” tiin a thuona.
So that, the longer, are they, two, but, one flesh, What, therefore, God, hath yoked together, Let not, a man, put asunder.
7 Phariseengei han a kôm, “Nônte ithomo Moses'n pasalin inmâkna lekha miziekin a lômnu a pêkin chu inmâk a phalin amanu hah tîrpaiin aom ngâia?” tiin an rekela.
They say unto him—Why then did, Moses, command, to give a writing of repudiation and to divorce?
8 Jisua'n an kôm, “Moses'n nin lômnungei mâk rang nangni a phal pena chu nin mulung ânngara minchu nin intak rai sika ani. Hannirese, sinphuta han chu ma anghin nimak.
He saith unto them—Moses, in view of your hardness of heart, permitted you to divorce your wives; From the beginning however, hath it not been done, thus.
9 Hanchu, keima nangni ki ril chu, tukhom pasalin a lômnu hah roi danga niloiin, taksôn omloina sika a mâka anin chu a lômnu hah inrê a minchang ani; male mi lômnu mâksai inneipui nôkpu chu amanu hah a inrêpuiin theiloi a chang sa ani,” a tia.
And I say unto you—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, saving for unfaithfulness, and shall marry another, committeth adultery.
10 A ruoisingeiin a kôm, “Lômpa le lômnu kongkâra ma anghan anin chu innei loi asa uol,” an tia.
The disciples say unto him—If, so, is the cause of the husband with the wife, it is not expedient to marry.
11 Jisua'n an kôm, “Hi minchuna hih mitin chunga mang rang nimaka, Pathien'n a pêk ngei chunga vai mang nîng atih, tiin a thuona.
But, he, said unto them—Not all, find room for he word, save they to whom it hath been given;

For there, are, eunuchs, who, from their mother’s womb, were born so, and there, are, eunuchs, who were made eunuchs, by men, —and there, are, eunuchs, who have made, themselves, eunuchs, for the sake the kingdom of the heavens: He that is able to find room, let him find room.
13 Mi senkhatin nâipangtengei Jisua kôm an chunga a kut a minngam theina rang le chubai tho pe ngei theina rangin an hong tuonga, aniatachu, ruoisingeiin an lei ngoa.
Then, were brought unto him children, —that he might lay his hands upon them, and pray. And, the disciples, rebuked them.
14 Jisua'n an kôm, “Nâipangtengei ko kôm min hong ungla khap no roi, invân Rêngram chu hi anga mingei ta ani sikin,” a tia.
But, Jesus, said—Suffer the children—and do not hinder them—to come unto me, —for, of such, is the kingdom of the heavens.
15 An chunga a kut a minngama male chu a se zoi.
And, laying his hands upon them, he went his way from thence.
16 Voikhat chu mi inkhat Jisua kôm a honga, “Minchupu, kumtuong ringna ka man theina rangin imo sin sa ki sin rang?” tiin a rekela. (aiōnios g166)
And lo! one coming near unto him, said, Teacher! what good thing shall I do, that I may have life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
17 “Ithomo asa thurchi mini rekel?” Jisua'n, “Asa chu mi Inkhat vai kêng aom. Ringna han lût nu nuomin chu chongpêkngei hah jôm roh,” tiin a thuona.
And, he, said unto him—Why dost thou question me concerning that which is good? There is, One, that is good! But, if thou desirest, into life, to enter, be keeping the commandments.
18 Ama han, “Kho chongpêkngei ha mo?” tiin a rekela. Jisua'n, “Mi that no roh; inrê no roh; inru no roh; dikloitakin mi nôn no roh;
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus, said—These: Thou shalt not commit murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, —Thou shalt not bear false witness;
19 nu nû le na pa mirit roh; nangma nên lungkham angin nu bungmingei lungkham roh,” ti ngei hi tiin a thuona.
Honour thy father and thy mother, —and—Thou shalt love thy neighbour as, thyself.
20 Ruolthartepa han, “Ma chongpêkngei nâm ha chu ko jôm suolet zoi. Imo ki sin rang ala nâng?” a tia.
The young man saith unto him—These all, have I kept, —What, further, do I lack?
21 Jisua'n a kôm, “Asa akiphara om nu nuomin chu senla, no dôn murdi juor inla, ma sum hah inriengngei kôm pêk roh, male chu invâna rochon dôn ni tih; masuole chu hong inla, mi hong jûi roh,” a tipea.
Jesus said unto him—If thou desirest to be perfect, Withdraw! sell thy substance, and give to the destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in the heavens; and come! be following me.
22 Ruolthartepa'n ha chong hah a rietin chu ngâisiet takin a rot zoi, mi neipa ani sikin.
And the young man, hearing, this word, went away sorrowing, —for he was holding large possessions.
23 Hanchu Jisua'n a ruoisingei kôm, “Adiktakin nangni ki ril: mineingei rangin chu invân Rêngrama lût ântak sabak rang ani.
And, Jesus, said unto his disciples—Verily, I say unto you, A rich man, with difficulty, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
24 Nangni ki ril nôk: mineingei Pathien Rêngrama lût nêkin chu ût simphuoi kuora lût bai uol atih,” a tia.
Again I say unto you—Easier, is it for, a camel, through the eye of a needle, to enter, than a rich man—into the kingdom of God.
25 Hi chong hih, ruoisingeiin an rietin chu, an kamâm tataka, “Nônte, tumo saminringin aom thei rang?” tiin an rekela.
And, hearing it, the disciples were being struck with the greatest astonishment, saying—Who then can be saved?
26 Jisua'n anni enlakin an kôm, “Mahih miriem rangin chu nithei maka, aniatachu Pathien rangin chu neinun murdi anithei let,” tiin a thuon ngeia.
And, looking intently, Jesus said unto them—With men, this is, impossible, but, with God, all things are possible.
27 Male Peter a hong chonga. A kôm, “En roh, keinin jâttin mâkin nang kin jûia. Imo kin man rang?” a tia.
Then, making answer, Peter said unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee, —What then shall there be, for us?
28 Jisua'n an kôm, “Adiktakin nangni ki ril, Ruol Thar hong om ranga Miriem Nâipasal a rêngsukmun roiinpuitaka ânsung tikin chu nangni ku nûkjûi ngâi sômleinik ngei khom rêngsukmunngeia insung nin ta, Israel jât sômleinik ngei chunga roijêk nin tih.
And, Jesus, said unto them—Verily, I say unto you, As for you who followed me in the regeneration, When the Son of Man shall take his seat on his throne of glory, ye also, shall be seated upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 Hanchu tutu keima sika inngei mo, lâibungngei mo, sarnungei mo, pa mo, nu mo, nâingei mo, loi ngei mo, amâkpu ngei chu abâk razakhatin man an ta, kumtuong ringna khom pêk sa nîng an tih. (aiōnios g166)
And, whosoever left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for sake of my name, manifold, shall receive, and life, age-abiding, shall inherit. (aiōnios g166)
30 Aniatachu, atûna amasatakngei khom nûkintatak la nîng an ta, male nûkintatak ngei khom amasatak la nîng an tih,” a tia.
But many shall be—first-last, and last-first.
