< Zabbuli 92 >
1 Zabbuli. Oluyimba lwa Ssabbiiti. Kirungi okwebazanga Mukama, n’okuyimba ennyimba n’okutenderezanga erinnya lyo, Ayi Ggwe, Ali Waggulu Ennyo;
A Psalm. — A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,
2 okutendanga okwagala kwo okutakoma buli nkya, n’okutendanga obwesigwa bwo buli kiro.
To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.
3 Okukutenderezanga n’amaloboozi g’enkoba z’ennanga n’endere awamu n’entongooli.
On ten strings and on psaltery, On (higgaion) with harp.
4 Kubanga ggwe, Ayi Mukama, onkoledde ebinsanyusizza; kyenva nkuyimbira n’essanyu olw’emirimu gy’emikono gyo.
For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.
5 Emirimu gyo nga mikulu, Ayi Mukama; ebirowoozo byo nga tebitegeerekeka!
How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.
6 Omuntu atalina magezi tamanyi; n’omusirusiru kino tasobola kukitegeera;
A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this; —
7 newaakubadde ng’abakola ebibi baloka ng’omuddo, n’aboonoonyi bonna ne bafuna ebirungi, boolekedde okuzikirira okw’emirembe n’emirembe!
When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity — For their being destroyed for ever and ever!
8 Naye ggwe, Ayi Mukama, ogulumizibwa emirembe gyonna.
And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.
9 Kubanga abalabe bo, Ayi Mukama, abalabe bo balizikirira, abakola ebibi bonna balisaasaanyizibwa.
For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.
10 Naye nze wanfuula wa maanyi okwenkana embogo, n’onfukako amafuta amalungi.
And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.
11 Amaaso gaalaba bbugwe ng’agwa ku balabe bange; n’amatu gange gawulidde akabi akatuuse ku abo abanjigganya.
And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.
12 Abatuukirivu balyegolola ng’enkindu, ne bakula ne bawanvuwa ng’emivule gy’e Lebanooni.
The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.
13 Egisimbibwa mu nnyumba ya Mukama. Baligimukira mu mpya za Katonda waffe.
Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.
14 Ne mu bukadde bwabwe balibala ebibala; baliba balamu era abagimu,
Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,
15 kiryoke kitegeeze nti, Mukama w’amazima, lwe Lwazi lwange era mu ye temuli butali butuukirivu.
To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!
