But I say to you that everyone who is rashly angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Yoʋ idiot,’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. And whoever says, ‘Yoʋ fool,’ will be subject to the fires of hell. (Geenna )
もし右の目なんぢを躓かせば、抉り出して棄てよ、五體の一つ亡びて、全身ゲヘナに投げ入れられぬは益なり。 (Geenna )
So if yoʋr right eye causes yoʋ to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from yoʋ. For it is better for yoʋ to have one of yoʋr members perish, than for yoʋr whole body to be thrown into hell. (Geenna )
もし右の手なんぢを躓かせば、切りて棄てよ、五體の一つ亡びて、全身ゲヘナに往かぬは益なり。 (Geenna )
And if yoʋr right hand causes yoʋ to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from yoʋ. For it is better for yoʋ to have one of yoʋr members perish, than for yoʋr whole body to be thrown into hell. (Geenna )
身を殺して靈魂をころし得ぬ者どもを懼るな、身と靈魂とをゲヘナにて滅し得る者をおそれよ。 (Geenna )
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but rather fear him who can destroy both the soul and the body in hell. (Geenna )
カペナウムよ、なんぢは天にまで擧げらるべきか、黄泉にまで下らん。汝のうちにて行ひたる能力ある業を、ソドムにて行ひしならば、今日までもかの町は遺りしならん。 (Hadēs )
And yoʋ, Capernaum, who have been exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in yoʋ had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. (Hadēs )
誰にても言をもて人の子に逆ふ者は赦されん、されど言をもて聖 靈に逆ふ者は、この世にても後の世にても赦されじ。 (aiōn )
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither in the present age nor in the age to come. (aiōn )
茨の中に播かれしとは、御言をきけども、世の心勞と財貨の惑とに、御言を塞がれて實らぬものなり。 (aiōn )
The seed sown among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )
之を播きし仇は惡魔なり、收穫は世の終なり、刈る者は御使たちなり。 (aiōn )
and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. (aiōn )
されば毒 麥の集められて火に焚かるる如く、世の終にも斯くあるべし。 (aiōn )
Therefore, just as the tares are gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of this age. (aiōn )
世の終にも斯くあるべし。御使たち出でて、義人の中より惡人を分ちて、 (aiōn )
So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the evil from the righteous (aiōn )
我はまた汝に告ぐ、汝はペテロなり、我この磐の上に我が教會を建てん、黄泉の門はこれに勝たざるべし。 (Hadēs )
And I tell yoʋ that yoʋ are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Hadēs )
もし汝の手または足なんぢを躓かせば、切りて棄てよ。不具または蹇跛にて生命に入るは、兩手 兩足ありて永遠の火に投げ入れらるるよりも勝るなり。 (aiōnios )
If yoʋr hand or yoʋr foot causes yoʋ to stumble, cut them off and throw them away from yoʋ. It is better for yoʋ to enter life lame or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire. (aiōnios )
もし汝の眼なんぢを躓かせば、拔きて棄てよ。片眼にて生命に入るは、兩眼ありて火のゲヘナに投げ入れらるるよりも勝るなり。 (Geenna )
And if yoʋr eye causes yoʋ to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from yoʋ. It is better for yoʋ to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fires of hell. (Geenna )
視よ、或 人みもとに來りて言ふ『師よ、われ永遠の生命をうる爲には、如何なる善き事を爲すべきか』 (aiōnios )
And behold, a man came and said to him, “Good Teacher, what good thing must I do to have eternal life?” (aiōnios )
また凡そ我が名のために、或は家、あるひは兄弟、あるひは姉妹、あるひは父、あるひは母、あるひは子、あるひは田畑を棄つる者は、數倍を受け、また永遠の生命を嗣がん。 (aiōnios )
And everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children, or fields for my name's sake, will receive a hundred times more and will inherit eternal life. (aiōnios )
路の傍なる一もとの無花果の樹を見て、その下に到り給ひしに、葉のほかに何をも見出さず、之に對ひて『今より後いつまでも果を結ばざれ』と言ひ給へば、無花果の樹たちどころに枯れたり。 (aiōn )
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. Then he said to it, “May there never be any fruit from yoʋ again!” And at once the fig tree withered. (aiōn )
禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、汝らは一人の改宗者を得んために海 陸を經めぐり、既に得れば、之を己に倍したるゲヘナの子となすなり。 (Geenna )
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cross sea and land to make a single convert, and when he has become one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. (Geenna )
蛇よ、蝮の裔よ、なんぢら爭でゲヘナの刑罰を避け得んや。 (Geenna )
You serpents, you brood of vipers! How will you escape being sentenced to hell? (Geenna )
オリブ山に坐し給ひしとき、弟子たち竊に御許に來りて言ふ『われらに告げ給へ、これらの事は何時あるか、又なんぢの來り給ふと世の終とには、何の兆あるか』 (aiōn )
Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of yoʋr coming and of the end of the age?” (aiōn )
かくてまた左にをる者どもに言はん「詛はれたる者よ、我を離れて惡魔とその使らとのために備へられたる永遠の火に入れ。 (aiōnios )
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (aiōnios )
かくて、これらの者は去りて永遠の刑罰にいり、正しき者は永遠の生命に入らん』 (aiōnios )
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (aiōnios )
わが汝らに命ぜし凡ての事を守るべきを教へよ。視よ、我は世の終まで常に汝らと偕に在るなり』 (aiōn )
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (aiōn )

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal judgment.” (aiōn , aiōnios )

If yoʋr hand causes yoʋ to stumble, cut it off. It is better for yoʋ to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go into hell, into the unquenchable fire, (Geenna )
もし汝の足なんぢを躓かせば、之を切り去れ、蹇跛にて生命に入るは、兩足ありてゲヘナに投げ入れらるるよりも勝るなり。 (Geenna )
And if yoʋr foot causes yoʋ to stumble, cut it off. It is better for yoʋ to enter life lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell, into the unquenchable fire, (Geenna )

And if yoʋr eye causes yoʋ to stumble, tear it out. It is better for yoʋ to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fires of hell, (Geenna )

As he was setting out on the road, a man ran up, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
誰にても今、今の時に百 倍を受けぬはなし。即ち家・兄弟・姉妹・母・子・田畑を迫害と共に受け、また後の世にては、永遠の生命を受けぬはなし。 (aiōn , aiōnios )
who will not receive now in this age a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
イエスその樹に對ひて言ひたまふ『今より後いつまでも、人なんぢの果を食はざれ』弟子たち之を聞けり。 (aiōn )
In response Jesus said to the fig tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from yoʋ again!” And his disciples heard it. (aiōn )
ヤコブの家を永遠に治めん。その國は終ることなかるべし』 (aiōn )
He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (aiōn )
アブラハムとその裔とに對するあはれみを永遠に忘れじとて、僕イスラエルを助けたまへり』 (aiōn )
just as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” (aiōn )
これぞ古へより聖 預言者の口をもて言ひ給ひし如く、 (aiōn )
(just as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets long ago), (aiōn )
彼らイエスに、底なき所に往くを命じ給はざらんことを請ふ。 (Abyssos )
And he begged Jesus not to command them to go away into the abyss. (Abyssos )

And behold, a lawyer stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
懼るべきものを汝らに示さん。殺したる後ゲヘナに投げ入るる權威ある者を懼れよ。われ汝らに告ぐ、げに之を懼れよ。 (Geenna )
But I will tell you whom you should fear: Fear him who has authority to throw you into hell after your body has been killed. Yes, I tell you, fear him! (Geenna )
ここに主人、不義なる支配人の爲しし事の巧なるによりて、彼を譽めたり。この世の子らは、己が時代の事には光の子らよりも巧なり。 (aiōn )
So the master commended the unrighteous steward because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than are the people of the light. (aiōn )
われ汝らに告ぐ、不義の富をもて、己がために友をつくれ。さらば富の失する時、その友なんぢらを永遠の住居に迎へん。 (aiōnios )
And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth so that when you die, those friends will receive you into eternal dwellings. (aiōnios )
黄泉にて苦惱の中より目を擧げて、遙にアブラハムと其の懷裏にをるラザロとを見る。 (Hadēs )
As he was in torment in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his side. (Hadēs )
或 司 問ひて言ふ『善き師よ、われ何をなして永遠の生命を嗣ぐべきか』 (aiōnios )
Then a certain ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
今の時に數倍を受け、また後の世にて永遠の生命を受けぬはなし』 (aiōn , aiōnios )
who will not surely receive many times more in this present age—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
イエス言ひ給ふ『この世の子らは娶り嫁ぎすれど、 (aiōn )
Jesus answered them, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn )
かの世に入るに、死人の中より甦へるに相應しとせらるる者は、娶り嫁ぎすることなし。 (aiōn )
but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are they given in marriage. (aiōn )
すべて信ずる者の彼によりて永遠の生命を得ん爲なり』 (aiōnios )
so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
それ神はその獨子を賜ふほどに世を愛し給へり、すべて彼を信ずる者の亡びずして、永遠の生命を得んためなり。 (aiōnios )
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
御子を信ずる者は永遠の生命をもち、御子に從はぬ者は生命を見ず、反つて神の怒その上に止るなり。 (aiōnios )
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life; rather, the wrath of God remains upon him. (aiōnios )
されど我があたふる水を飮む者は、永遠に渇くことなし。わが與ふる水は彼の中にて泉となり、永遠の生命の水 湧きいづべし』 (aiōn , aiōnios )
but whoever drinks the water I give him will certainly never thirst again. On the contrary, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
刈る者は價を受けて永遠の生命の實を集む。播く者と刈る者とともに喜ばん爲なり。 (aiōnios )
He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
誠にまことに汝らに告ぐ、わが言をききて我を遣し給ひし者を信ずる人は、永遠の生命をもち、かつ審判に至らず、死より生命に移れるなり。 (aiōnios )
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. (aiōnios )
汝らは聖書に永遠の生命ありと思ひて之を査ぶ、されどこの聖書は我につきて證するものなり。 (aiōnios )
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is these that testify about me, (aiōnios )
朽ちる糧のためならで、永遠の生命にまで至る糧のために働け。これは人の子の汝らに與へんとするものなり、父なる神は印して彼を證し給ひたるに因る』 (aiōnios )
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” (aiōnios )
わが父の御意は、すべて子を見て信ずる者の永遠の生命を得る是なり。われ終の日にこれを甦へらすべし』 (aiōnios )
And this is the will of him who sent me, that anyone who looks to the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” (aiōnios )

Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. (aiōnios )

Never before has anyone heard of someone opening the eyes of a man born blind. (aiōn )

I give them eternal life, and they will certainly never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )

The crowd responded to him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever, so how can yoʋ say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this ‘Son of Man’?” (aiōn )
我その命令の永遠の生命たるを知る。されば我は語るに我が父の我に言ひ給ふままを語るなり』 (aiōnios )
And I know that his commandment leads to eternal life. What I speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me.” (aiōnios )

Peter said to him, “Yoʋ shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash yoʋ, yoʋ have no part with me.” (aiōn )
われ父に請はん、父は他に助主をあたへて、永遠に汝らと偕に居らしめ給ふべし。 (aiōn )
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to abide with you forever— (aiōn )
汝より賜はりし凡ての者に、永遠の生命を與へしめんとて、萬民を治むる權威を子に賜ひたればなり。 (aiōnios )
just as yoʋ have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom yoʋ have given him. (aiōnios )
永遠の生命は、唯一の眞の神にいます汝と、なんぢの遣し給ひしイエス・キリストとを知るにあり。 (aiōnios )
This is eternal life, that they may know yoʋ, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom yoʋ have sent. (aiōnios )

For yoʋ will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will yoʋ let yoʋr Holy One see corruption. (Hadēs )
先見して、キリストの復活に就きて語り、その黄泉に棄て置かれず、その肉體の朽果てぬことを言へるなり。 (Hadēs )
David foresaw what would happen and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, saying that his soul was not abandoned to Hades and that his flesh did not see corruption. (Hadēs )
古へより神が、その聖なる預言者の口によりて語り給ひし、萬物の革まる時まで、天は必ずイエスを受けおくべし。 (aiōn )
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God declared by the mouth of all his holy prophets long ago. (aiōn )

But Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly, saying, “It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. But since you are rejecting it and do not judge yourselves to be worthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )
異邦人は之を聽きて喜び、主の言をあがめ、又とこしへの生命に定められたる者はみな信じ、 (aiōnios )
When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed to eternal life believed. (aiōnios )
古へより此 等のことを知らしめ給ふ主、これを言ひ給ふ」とあるが如し。 (aiōn )
All God's works are known to him from long ago. (aiōn )
それ神の見るべからざる永遠の能力と神性とは、造られたる物により世の創より悟りえて明かに見るべければ、彼ら言ひ遁るる術なし。 (aïdios )
For his invisible qualities, both his everlasting power and his divinity, have been plainly seen from the creation of the world, being perceived through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (aïdios )

To those who by patient endurance in good works seek glory, honor, and immortality, he will give eternal life; (aiōnios )

so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )

but has now been revealed, and through the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all the Gentiles, according to the commandment of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— (aiōnios )
唯一の智き神に、榮光 世々 限りなくイエス・キリストに由りて在らんことを、アァメン。 (aiōn )
to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen. (aiōn )
智者いづこにか在る、學者いづこにか在る、この世の論者いづこにか在る、神は世の智慧をして愚ならしめ給へるにあらずや。 (aiōn )
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of this world foolish? (aiōn )
されど我らは成人したる者の中にて智慧を語る。これ此の世の智慧にあらず、又この世の廢らんとする司たちの智慧にあらず、 (aiōn )
Now we speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing. (aiōn )
我らは奧義を解きて神の智慧を語る、即ち隱れたる智慧にして、神われらの光榮のために、世の創の先より預じめ定め給ひしものなり。 (aiōn )
On the contrary, we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a mystery, which God foreordained for our glory before time began. (aiōn )
この世の司には之を知る者なかりき、もし知らば榮光の主を十字架に釘けざりしならん。 (aiōn )
None of the rulers of this age understood this wisdom, for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
誰も自ら欺くな。汝 等のうち此の世にて自ら智しと思ふ者は、智くならんために愚なる者となれ。 (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become foolish so that he may become truly wise. (aiōn )
この故に、もし食物わが兄弟を躓かせんには、兄弟を躓かせぬ爲に、我は何時までも肉を食はじ。 (aiōn )
Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will certainly never eat meat, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble. (aiōn )
彼らが遭へる此 等のことは鑑となれり、かつ末の世に遭へる我らの訓戒のために録されたり。 (aiōn )
Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come. (aiōn )
『死よ、なんぢの勝は何處にかある。死よ、なんぢの刺は何處にかある』 (Hadēs )
“O Death, where is yoʋr sting? O Hades, where is yoʋr victory?” (Hadēs )
この世の神は此 等の不 信者の心を暗まして、神の像なるキリストの榮光の福音の光を照さざらしめたり。 (aiōn )
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers like them, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not dawn upon them. (aiōn )
それ我らが受くる暫くの輕き患難は、極めて大なる永遠の重き光榮を得しむるなり。 (aiōnios )
For our light and momentary affliction is bringing about for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all measure, (aiōnios )

as we look not to what is seen, but to what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (aiōnios )

己が肉のために播く者は肉によりて滅亡を刈りとり、御靈のために播く者は御靈によりて永遠の生命を刈りとらん。 (aiōnios )
For he who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. (aiōnios )
もろもろの政治・權威・能力・支配、また啻に此の世のみならず、來らんとする世にも稱ふる凡ての名の上に置き、 (aiōn )
far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. (aiōn )

in which you once walked when you followed the ways of this world and the ruler of the realm of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. (aiōn )
これキリスト・イエスに由りて我らに施したまふ仁慈をもて、其の恩惠の極めて大なる富を、來らんとする後の世々に顯さんとてなり。 (aiōn )
so that in the ages to come he might show the surpassing riches of his grace through his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
また萬物を造り給ひし神のうちに、世々 隱れたる奧義の經綸の如何なるもの乎をあらはす恩惠を賜はりたり。 (aiōn )
and to bring to light for everyone the plan of the mystery that has been hidden for ages in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ. (aiōn )
これは永遠より我らの主キリスト・イエスの中に、神の定め給ひし御旨によるなり。 (aiōn )
according to the eternal purpose that God has carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn )
榮光 世々 限りなく教會によりて、又キリスト・イエスによりて在らんことを、アァメン。 (aiōn )
to him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
我らは血肉と戰ふにあらず、政治・權威、この世の暗黒を掌どるもの、天の處にある惡の靈と戰ふなり。 (aiōn )
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (aiōn )

They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios )

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by his grace, (aiōnios )

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty or to put their hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (aiōn )

For Demas, who is in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )

And the Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and preserve me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )

whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. (aiōn )

but of the Son he says, “Yoʋr throne, O God, endures forever and ever; the scepter of yoʋr kingdom is a scepter of uprightness. (aiōn )

And in another passage he says, “Yoʋ are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )

And having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him (aiōnios )

and of instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios )

who have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the coming age, (aiōn )

where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, because he has become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )

For God testifies, “Yoʋ are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
彼は誓なくしては爲られず、誓をもて祭司とせられ給へり。即ち彼に就きて『主ちかひて悔い給はず、「なんじは永遠に祭司たり」』と言ひ給ひしが如し。 (aiōn )
but Jesus was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him, “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘Yoʋ are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” (aiōn )
されど彼は永遠に在せば易ることなき祭司の職を保ちたまふ。 (aiōn )
but because Jesus continues forever, he has a permanent priesthood. (aiōn )
律法は弱みある人々を立てて大 祭司とすれども、律法の後なる誓の御言は、永遠に全うせられ給へる御子を大 祭司となせり。 (aiōn )
For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who has been made perfect forever. (aiōn )
山羊と犢との血を用ひず、己が血をもて只 一たび至 聖所に入りて、永遠の贖罪を終へたまへり。 (aiōnios )
he entered once for all into the holy places, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. (aiōnios )

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify your consciences from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios )

They are wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shameful deeds; wayward stars, for whom the thick gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn )

must keep yourselves in the love of God as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (aiōnios )

Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor, glory and power, forever and ever! Amen.” (aiōn )

And behold, there was a pale green horse! The name of its rider was Death, and Hades followed him. He was given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill by the sword, by famine and pestilence, and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )

The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and the star was given the key to the pit of the abyss. (Abyssos )

He opened the pit of the abyss, and from the pit rose smoke like the smoke of a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. (Abyssos )

They have as king over them the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek his name is Apollyon. (Abyssos )

and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it, and said that there would no longer be delay, (aiōn )

When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will wage war against them, and overpower and kill them. (Abyssos )

Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.” (aiōn )

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.” (aiōn )

Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. (aiōn )

The beast that yoʋ saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. Those who dwell on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will be amazed when they see that the beast was and is not and is to come. A second time the voice said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever.” (aiōn )
かくて獸は捕へられ、又その前に不思議を行ひて獸の徽章を受けたる者と、その像を拜する者とを惑したる僞 預言者も、之とともに捕へられ、二つながら生きたるまま硫黄の燃ゆる火の池に投げ入れられたり。 (Limnē Pyr )
But the beast was captured, and so was the false prophet who was with him, who in his sight performed the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (Limnē Pyr )

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a great chain. (Abyssos )

He threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it over him, so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. After that he must be released for a short time. (Abyssos )

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the sinful, the detestable, the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their portion is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Limnē Pyr )

There will be no night there, and they will not need any lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever. (aiōn )
