Da machten sich alle seine Söhne und Töchter auf, um ihn zu trösten; er aber wollte sich nicht trösten lassen, sondern sprach: Ich höre nicht auf zu trauern, bis ich zu meinem Sohn hinabfahre ins Totenreich! Also beweinte ihn sein Vater. (Sheol h7585)

Shall they not lie with the mighty of the uncircumcised that are fallen, Who have gone down to the pit with their weapons of war, Having their swords laid under their heads, And their iniquity resting upon their bones, Though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living?
