2 Timothy 4
1 I witnesse bifore God and Crist Jhesu, that schal deme the quike and the deed, and bi the comyng of hym, and the kyngdom of hym,
Te conjuro delante de Dios y de Cristo Jesús, el cual juzgará a vivos y a muertos, tanto en su aparición como en su reino:
2 preche the word, be thou bisi couenabli with outen rest, repreue thou, biseche thou, blame thou in al pacience and doctryn.
predica la Palabra, insta a tiempo y a destiempo, reprende, censura, exhorta con toda longanimidad y doctrina.
3 For tyme schal be, whanne men schulen not suffre hoolsum teching, but at her desiris thei schulen gadere `togidere to hem silf maistris yitchinge to the eeris.
Porque vendrá el tiempo en que no soportarán más la sana doctrina, antes bien con prurito de oír se amontonarán maestros con arreglo a sus concupiscencias.
4 And treuli thei schulen turne awei the heryng fro treuthe, but to fablis thei schulen turne.
Apartarán de la verdad el oído, pero se volverán a las fábulas.
5 But wake thou, in alle thingis traueile thou, do the werk of an euangelist, fulfille thi seruyce, be thou sobre.
Por tu parte, sé sobrio en todo, soporta lo adverso, haz obra de evangelista, cumple bien tu ministerio.
6 For Y am sacrifisid now, and the tyme of my departyng is nyy.
Porque yo ya estoy a punto de ser derramado como libación, y el tiempo de mi disolución es inminente.
7 Y haue stryuun a good strijf, Y haue endid the cours, Y haue kept the feith.
He peleado el buen combate, he terminado la carrera, he guardado la fe.
8 In `the tothir tyme a coroun of riytwisnesse is kept to me, which the Lord, a iust domesman, schal yelde to me in that dai; and not oneli to me, but also to these that louen his comyng.
En adelante me está reservada la corona de la justicia, que me dará el Señor, el Juez justo, en aquel día, y no solo a mí sino a todos los que hayan amado su venida.
9 Hyye thou to come to me soone.
Date prisa y ven pronto a mí,
10 For Demas, louynge this world, hath forsakun me, and wente to Tessalonyk, Crescens in to Galathi, Tite in to Dalmacie; (aiōn g165)
porque Demas me ha abandonado por amor a este siglo y se ha ido a Tesalónica. Crescente se fue a Galacia, Tito a Dalmacia. (aiōn g165)
11 Luk aloone is with me. Take thou Mark, and brynge with thee; for he is profitable to me in to seruyce.
Solo Lucas está conmigo. Toma contigo a Marcos y tráelo; me es muy útil para el ministerio.
12 Forsothe Y sente Titicus to Effesi.
A Tíquico le envié a Éfeso.
13 The cloth which Y lefte at Troade at Carpe, whanne thou comest, bringe with thee, and the bookis, but moost parchemyne.
Cuando vengas tráeme la capa que dejé en Tróade, en casa de Carpo, y también los libros, sobre todo los pergaminos.
14 Alisaundre, the tresorer, schewide to me myche yuele; `the Lord schal yelde to hym aftir his werkis.
Alejandro, el herrero, me causó muchos perjuicios. El Señor le dará el pago conforme a sus obras.
15 Whom also thou eschewe; for he ayenstood ful greetli oure wordis.
Guárdate tú también de él, porque se ha opuesto en gran manera a nuestras palabras.
16 In my firste defence no man helpide me, but alle forsoken me; be it not arettid to hem.
En mi primera defensa nadie estuvo de mi parte, sino que me abandonaron todos. No se les cargue en cuenta.
17 But the Lord helpide me, and coumfortide me, that the preching be fillid bi me, and that alle folkis here, that Y am delyueride fro the mouth of the lioun.
Mas el Señor me asistió y me fortaleció para que por mí quedase completo el mensaje y lo oyesen todos los gentiles. Y así fui librado de la boca del león.
18 And the Lord delyueride me fro al yuel werk, and schal make me saaf in to his heuenly kingdom, to whom be glorie in to worldis of worldis. (aiōn g165)
El Señor me librará de toda obra mala y me salvará para su reino celestial. A Él sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. (aiōn g165)
19 Amen. Grete wel Prisca, and Aquila, and the hous of Oneseforus.
Saluda a Prisca y a Aquila y a la casa de Onesíforo.
20 Erastus lefte at Corynthi, and Y lefte Trofymus sijk at Mylete.
Erasto se quedó en Corinto; a Trófimo le dejé enfermo en Mileto.
21 Hiye thou to come bifore wyntir. Eubolus, and Prudent, and Lynus, and Claudia, and alle britheren, greten thee wel.
Date prisa para venir antes del invierno. Te saludan Eubulo, Pudente, Lino, Claudia y todos los hermanos.
22 Oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with thi spirit. The grace of God be with you. Amen.
El Señor sea con tu espíritu. La gracia sea con vosotros.
