1 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus—by injunction of God our Saviour and Christ Jesus our hope, —
อสฺมากํ ตฺราณกรฺตฺตุรีศฺวรสฺยาสฺมากํ ปฺรตฺยาศาภูเม: ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย จาชฺญานุสารโต ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย เปฺรริต: เปาล: สฺวกียํ สตฺยํ ธรฺมฺมปุตฺรํ ตีมถิยํ ปฺรติ ปตฺรํ ลิขติฯ
2 unto Timothy, my true child in faith: favour, mercy, peace, from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord.
อสฺมากํ ตาต อีศฺวโร'สฺมากํ ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏศฺจ ตฺวยิ อนุคฺรหํ ทยำ ศานฺติญฺจ กุรฺยฺยาสฺตำฯ
3 Even as I exhorted thee to remain in Ephesus, when I was journeying into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some—
มากิทนิยาเทเศ มม คมนกาเล ตฺวมฺ อิผิษนคเร ติษฺฐนฺ อิตรศิกฺษา น คฺรหีตวฺยา, อนนฺเตษูปาขฺยาเนษุ วํศาวลิษุ จ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺมโน น นิเวศิตวฺยมฺ
4 Not to be teaching otherwise, nor yet to be giving heed to stories and endless genealogies, —the which, bring, arguings, rather than that stewardship of God which is with faith; —
อิติ กำศฺจิตฺ โลกานฺ ยทฺ อุปทิเศเรตตฺ มยาทิษฺโฏ'ภว: , ยต: สรฺไวฺวเรไต รฺวิศฺวาสยุกฺเตศฺวรียนิษฺฐา น ชายเต กินฺตุ วิวาโท ชายเตฯ
5 Now, the end of the charge, is love—out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned, —
อุปเทศสฺย ตฺวภิเปฺรตํ ผลํ นิรฺมฺมลานฺต: กรเณน สตฺสํเวเทน นิษฺกปฏวิศฺวาเสน จ ยุกฺตํ เปฺรมฯ
6 Which some, missing, have turned them aside unto idle talk,
เกจิตฺ ชนาศฺจ สรฺวฺวาเณฺยตานิ วิหาย นิรรฺถกกถานามฺ อนุคมเนน วิปถคามิโน'ภวนฺ,
7 Desiring to be law-teachers, —not understanding, either what they say or whereof they confidently affirm.
ยทฺ ภาษนฺเต ยจฺจ นิศฺจินฺวนฺติ ตนฺน พุธฺยมานา วฺยวโสฺถปเทษฺฏาโร ภวิตุมฺ อิจฺฉนฺติฯ
8 Now we know that, excellent, is the law, if one put it to a lawful use: —
สา วฺยวสฺถา ยทิ โยคฺยรูเปณ คฺฤหฺยเต ตรฺหฺยุตฺตมา ภวตีติ วยํ ชานีม: ฯ
9 Knowing this—that, to a righteous man, law, doth not apply, but to the lawless and insubordinate, ungodly and sinful, irreligious and profane, smiters of fathers and smiters of mothers, murderers,
อปรํ สา วฺยวสฺถา ธารฺมฺมิกสฺย วิรุทฺธา น ภวติ กินฺตฺวธารฺมฺมิโก 'วาโธฺย ทุษฺฏ: ปาปิษฺโฐ 'ปวิโตฺร 'ศุจิ: ปิตฺฤหนฺตา มาตฺฤหนฺตา นรหนฺตา
10 fornicators, sodomites, man-stealers, liars, false- swearers, —and, if anything else, unto the healthful teaching, is opposed; —
เวศฺยาคามี ปุํไมถุนี มนุษฺยวิเกฺรตา มิถฺยาวาที มิถฺยาศปถการี จ สรฺเวฺวษาเมเตษำ วิรุทฺธา,
11 According to the glad-message of the glory of the happy God, with which entrusted am, I.
ตถา สจฺจิทานนฺเทศฺวรสฺย โย วิภวยุกฺต: สุสํวาโท มยิ สมรฺปิตสฺตทนุยายิหิโตปเทศสฺย วิปรีตํ ยตฺ กิญฺจิทฺ ภวติ ตทฺวิรุทฺธา สา วฺยวเสฺถติ ตทฺคฺราหิณา ชฺญาตวฺยํฯ
12 Grateful, am I unto him that empowered me, Christ Jesus our Lord, in that, faithful, he accounted me, putting me into ministry, —
มหฺยํ ศกฺติทาตา โย'สฺมากํ ปฺรภุ: ขฺรีษฺฏยีศุสฺตมหํ ธนฺยํ วทามิฯ
13 Though, formerly, a defamer, and persecutor, and insulter; nevertheless mercy was shown me, because, without knowledge, I acted, in unbelief:
ยต: ปุรา นินฺทก อุปทฺราวี หึสกศฺจ ภูตฺวาปฺยหํ เตน วิศฺวาโสฺย 'มเนฺย ปริจารกเตฺว นฺยยุเชฺย จฯ ตทฺ อวิศฺวาสาจรณมฺ อชฺญาเนน มยา กฺฤตมิติ เหโตรหํ เตนานุกมฺปิโต'ภวํฯ
14 Yet exceeding abundant was the favour of our Lord, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
อปรํ ขฺรีษฺเฏ ยีเศา วิศฺวาสเปฺรมภฺยำ สหิโต'สฺมตฺปฺรโภรนุคฺรโห 'ตีว ปฺรจุโร'ภตฺฯ
15 Faithful, the saying! and, of all acceptance, worthy, —that, Christ Jesus, came into the world, sinners, to save: of whom, the chief, am, I;—
ปาปิน: ปริตฺราตุํ ขฺรีษฺโฏ ยีศุ รฺชคติ สมวตีรฺโณ'ภวตฺ, เอษา กถา วิศฺวาสนียา สรฺไวฺว คฺรหณียา จฯ
16 Nevertheless, on this account, was mercy shewn me, —that, in me, the chief, Christ Jesus might shew forth his entire longsuffering, for an ensample of them about to believe on him unto life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
เตษำ ปาปินำ มเธฺย'หํ ปฺรถม อาสํ กินฺตุ เย มานวา อนนฺตชีวนปฺราปฺตฺยรฺถํ ตสฺมินฺ วิศฺวสิษฺยนฺติ เตษำ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺเต มยิ ปฺรถเม ยีศุนา ขฺรีษฺเฏน สฺวกียา กฺฤตฺสฺนา จิรสหิษฺณุตา ยตฺ ปฺรกาศฺยเต ตทรฺถเมวาหมฺ อนุกมฺปำ ปฺราปฺตวานฺฯ (aiōnios g166)
17 Now, unto the King of the ages, —incorruptible, invisible, alone God, be honour and glory, unto the ages of ages, Amen! (aiōn g165)

18 This charge, I commit unto thee, child Timothy, According to the prophecies, running before on thee, in order that thou mightest war, with them, the noble warfare.
เห ปุตฺร ตีมถิย ตฺวยิ ยานิ ภวิษฺยทฺวากฺยานิ ปุรา กถิตานิ ตทนุสาราทฺ อหมฺ เอนมาเทศํ ตฺวยิ สมรฺปยามิ, ตสฺยาภิปฺราโย'ยํ ยตฺตฺวํ ไต รฺวาไกฺยรุตฺตมยุทฺธํ กโรษิ
19 Holding faith and a good conscience, —which some, thrusting from them, concerning their faith, have made shipwreck: —
วิศฺวาสํ สตฺสํเวทญฺจ ธารยสิ จฯ อนโย: ปริตฺยาคาตฺ เกษาญฺจิทฺ วิศฺวาสตรี ภคฺนาภวตฺฯ
20 Of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may be taught by discipline not to be defaming.
หุมินายสิกนฺทเรา เตษำ เยา เทฺวา ชเนา, เตา ยทฺ ธรฺมฺมนินฺทำ ปุน รฺน กรฺตฺตุํ ศิกฺเษเต ตทรฺถํ มยา ศยตานสฺย กเร สมรฺปิเตาฯ
