1 Corinthians 8
1 Now, concerning the idol-sacrifices, we are aware—because we, all, have knowledge, —knowledge, puffeth up, but, love, buildeth up;

2 If anyone thinketh that he knoweth anything, not yet knoweth he, as he must needs come to know,
Amiisak o ih ngah ejat esiit ngeh ih samthunha heh ih tiim uh tajatka.
3 But, if anyone loveth God, the same, is known of him—
Enoothong o mina ih Rangte ah minchan eha erah mina ah Rangte ih ejat ha.
4 Concerning, then, the eating of idol-sacrifices, we are aware—that an idol is, nothing, in the world, and that, none, is God save one.
Erah raangtaan ih, tongmih soomtu phaksat ah langla: Seng ih jat ih hi tongmih ah tiimju tah angka, seng ih Rangte esiit luulu ah ba jat hi.
5 For, if indeed there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or upon earth, —as indeed there are gods many and lords many,
Rang ni angkoja adoleh hah ni angkoja, “rangte loong” ah ephoop je ah, erabah uh “rangte loong” nyia “teesu loong”
6 [Yet], to us, there is one God the Father, of whom are all things, and, we, for him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and, we, through him.
taat puupa abah uh seng raang ih Rangte bah esiit luulu baaje ah, heh langla seng loong Wah, oh jirep ah Dongsiitte nyia o raang ih seng ething tongli warah ah; erah damdi Teesu uh esiit luulu je ah, erah langla Jisu Kristo, marah mendi jirep dongsiitta nyia o raang ih seng loong thingtongli warah ah.
7 Howbeit, not in all, is the knowledge; but, some, by their familiarity, until even now, with the idol, as an idol-sacrifice, eat it, and, their conscience, being, weak, is defiled.
Enoothong arah tiitmi ah warep ih tajatka. Mararah mina ah tongmih soomtu asuh erah than ih jangseela, amadi tuk ih tongmih soomtu phaksat ah phaksah leh, neng thungtho thoidi tongmih raangtaan ih heh angkah ngeh ih mokthun rumha; eno neng teeteewah suh phaksat ih thet haat hali ngeh ih thun rumha.
8 Food, indeed, will not commend us unto God, —neither, if we eat not, do we lack, nor, if we eat, do we abound.
Enoothong, phaksat ih, Rangte reenah tabaam thoksiit ri; laphaksake bah uh seng tiim mat haatjih tah angka, adoleh phaksah ih bah uh tiim dakchojih tah angka.
9 But be taking heed, lest, by any means, your right, itself, become, an occasion of stumbling, unto the weak;
Erah raangtaan ih, sen loong ah naririh ih reeraang theng, senphak sensat thoidoh o mina laalom ni tarong lah angka loong ah rangdah nah ladat thuktheng.
10 For, if anyone should see [thee] who hast knowledge, in an idol-temple, reclining, will not, his conscience, being, weak, be built up for the eating of the idol-sacrifices?
Jengthaak asuh ngah ih ba “jat hang” liite ih rom arang phaksat tongmih soomnok ni phaksah arah; Rangte suh dangdang lajen laalomte ih japtup abah, heh uh rom arang phaksat ah tatam phaksaka?
11 In fact, he that is weak, is being destroyed, by thy knowledge—the brother for whose sake Christ died.
Erah raangtaan ih an phono, o raang ih Kristo tiita ah, an “mongtham” thoidoh matti ah!
12 But, in thus sinning against the brethren am wounding their conscience, seeing it is weak, against Christ, are ye sinning.
Erah likhiikkhiik Kristaan wahoh thung atak ah joongthuk uno Kristo ngathong nah uh emah ih dah uh.
13 Therefore, if food is an occasion of stumbling unto my brother, in nowise will I eat flesh unto the age that abideth, —that, I may not occasion, my brother, to stumble. (aiōn g165)
