< Romans 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated unto the glad-message of God—
Jisu Kristo laksuh Pool, Rangte ih heh Ruurang Ese ah tumbaat suh heh kaamwah ih danje ano poonta erah jiin nawa arah tiit ah.
2 Which he promised beforehand, through his prophets, in holy scriptures—
Esa Rangteele ni raangthiinta jun ih, Ruurang Ese ah Rangte ih teewadi khowah loong suh thoomhoon lam ih baat rumta.
3 Concerning his Son, —who came to be of the seed of David, according to flesh,
Erah heh Sah, Teesu Jisu Kristo tiit: hansi mina jun ih heh ah Dewid sutoom ih dongta;
4 Who was distinguished as the Son of God—by power, according to a Holy Spirit, through means of a resurrection of the dead, —Jesus Christ our Lord;
esa moong achaang lamko ih we ang ano, heh ih elong chaan aphaan lam ih tek nawa ngaaksaat ano Rangte Sah ih noisokta.
5 Through whom we have received favour and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name,
Rangte ih ngasuh uh Jisu Kristo thoi ih heh kaamwah ih mootkaat suh saapoot ah kohalang, deek akaan mina loongtang suh Jisu tiit ah hanpi thuk suh nyia heh jengchaatchaat etthuk suh ah.
6 Among whom are, ye also, called of Jesus Christ:
Arah jengkhaap ah Rangte ih sen Room hadaang nawa mina loong suh nep baat halan, Jisu Kristo mina toom ih hoon rum ah eah.
7 Unto all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints, favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
Erah thoih ngah ih sen Room nawa mina loongtang suh raangkoh rumhala o mina Rangte ih minchan halan nyia poon halan loong asuh ah: Seng Wah Rangte nyia Teesu Jisu Kristo ih sen suh heh tenthet nyia semroongroong roidong ah toom kohan.
8 First, indeed, I give thanks unto my God, through Jesus Christ, concerning you all, because your faith is being announced throughout the whole world.
Jaakhothoon, Jisu Kristo jun ih Rangte suh sen loong raangtaan ih lakookmi liihang, tumeah mongrep nawa loongtang ih sen tuungmaang ah chaat et rumha.
9 For God is, my witness, —unto whom I am rendering divine service in my spirit, in the glad message of his Son, —how incessantly, I am making mention of you
Marah ngah ih amiisak tiit baat hang, adi Rangte ah nga haaki—Rangte raang ih ngaaten ngaamong ah koh angno Ruurang Ese tiit nyia heh Sah tiit ah baat suh nyootsoot hang. Ngah ih saarookwih samthun rumhala nyia rangsoom korumhala ah
10 At all times in my prayers, —making supplication—if, by some means, even now, at any time, I may have a way opened, in the will of God, to come unto you;
Rangte ih jat eha. Ngah ih saarookwih nga Rangte suh sen damdoh jen chomui raang ih lamlaang kotsuh rangsoom tang.
11 For I am longing to see you, that I may impart some spiritual gift unto you, to the end ye may be established, —
Tumeah, ngah ih sen japtup suh rapne ih ramlang, sen suh moong achaang lam ih romseetam ah choh anno tarong ih tongjih tiit ah roongwaan suh ah.
12 That is to say—there may be a mutual encouragement among you, each by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
Ngah ih sen suh baat thunhang ah langla, seng loong ah eroom ih toom chosokmui ih, sen ah nga tuungmaang nawa ih, ngah ah sen tuungmaang nawa ih ah.
13 I do not wish however that ye should be ignorant, brethren, that, many times, have I purposed to come unto you, but have been hindered, until the present, —in order that, some fruit, I might have among you also, even as among the other nations,
Ngaaphoh ngaano loong, sen ih jat etheng, ngah sen hah nah raak suh saarookwih taat thuntang, ang abah uh jihoh nawa ih lamtang hangno tajen ra tahang. Ngah ih sengdung nawa uh eleksiit et suh thunhang, Ranglajatte loong leksiit rumtang ah likhiik ah.
14 Both to Greeks and to Barbarians, both to wise and to unwise, a debtor, I am:
Tumeah mina loong asuh baat kot ah ngah sak ni chaat hala, jatwah angkoja bah uh lajat angkoja bah uh, Leewette angkoja oh lawette angkoja oh.
15 Thus, the eagerness on my part—unto you also who are in Rome, to announce the joyful message.
Erah raang ih, ngah ih sen Room mina loong suh nep uh Ruurang Ese tiit ah baat kotsuh rapne ih ramlang.
16 For I am not ashamed of the joyful message; for it is God’s power unto salvation, to every one that believeth, both to Jew [first] and to Greek;
Ruurang Ese ah baat suh ngah tarakriikang; Rangte chaan nawa ih ba hanpiite loongtang puipang ah, jaakhoh ah Jehudi loong erah lilih Ranglajatte loong anep.
17 For, a righteousness of God, is therein revealed, —by faith unto faith: even as it is written—But, he that is righteous, by faith, shall live.
Tumeah, Rangte tiitkhaap ih mina heh teewah damdoh epun lam ih mame tongthaajih ah erah dongbaat ha: erah langla mina neng tuungmaang ah ephang dowa ih ethoon tuk ih eje angtheng. Rangteele ni liiha, “O mina Rangte damdi tuungmaang jun ih epun ih tongla aba khopui tong ah.”
18 For there is being revealed an anger of God from heaven—against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who, the truth, in unrighteousness, do hold down; —
Rangte tenkhat ah rang nawa rangdah nyia ethih mina loong raang ih raaha, marah mina ih neng reeraang ethih nawa ih amiisak tiit ah tajat thuk rumka loong raang ih ah.
19 Inasmuch as, what may be known of God, is manifest among them, for, God, unto them, hath made it manifest, —
Rangte ih neng ah chamnaang etthuk ah, tumeah neng ih Rangte tiit ah jatcho ang rumta, Rangte heh teeteewah ih jatthuk cho ang rumta.
20 For, the unseen things of him, from a world’s creation, by the things made, being perceived, are clearly seen, even his eternal power and divinity, —to the end they should be without excuse; (aïdios g126)
Rangte ih mongrep hoonta dowa ih, latupjih hemoong hechaang ah, babah uh lathoonjih, nyia esa dang ajang ah jatririh ih japtup rumta; erah loong ah Rangte ih hoonta huk akhaak loong ah thoidi jat hi. Erah thoih erah mina loong ah babah uh tajen leek rumka! (aïdios g126)
21 Inasmuch as, having come to know God, not, as God, did they glorify him, or give him thanks, but were made fruitless in their reasonings, and darkened was their undiscerning heart,
Neng ih Rangte ah jatcho, ang abah uh Rangte soomtuujih angta rah, neng ih tasoomtu rumka, adoleh heh suh lakookmi uh tali rumka. Erah nang ih bah neng ah thungko taklo, nyia neng tenthun ah laamang ni hahuung ih tongla.
22 Professing to be wise, they were made foolish,
Neng ih neng teeteewah suh jatwah ih thiik rumha, emah ih bah neng ah thungko mina loong;
23 And, exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God, for the likeness of an image of a corruptible man, and of birds and fourfooted beasts and reptiles:
Ething Rangte ah soom dakbi, neng ih mina, phih awoh, hi awak nyia changkom daangraat loong laaphaang ah soomtu rumha.
24 Wherefore God gave them up in the covetings of their hearts unto impurity, so as to be dishonouring their bodies among them, —
Eno Rangte ih neng suh jootthih reeraang loong ah neng ten ih jamha jun ih reethuk rumla, eno neng chamchi ni erakriijih reeraang loong ah re rumla.
25 Who, indeed, exchanged away the truth of God for the falsehood, and rendered worship and service unto the creature rather than unto the Creator, —who is blessed unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
Neng ih eleek tiit loong ah ih Rangte amiisak tiit ah lenglek rumha; edongsiite Rangte ah lalek soom thang ih heh lakmaak loong ah soomtu rumha, heh ah roitang phoongpha theng lek ang kano ah! Amen. (aiōn g165)
26 For this cause, God gave them up unto dishonourable passions; for, even their females, exchanged away the natural use into that which is against nature, —
Neng erah re thoidi, Rangte ih neng suh erakriijih reeraang asuh laan lungwaang thuk rumla. Minuh loong ah uh neng khoopiin ah minuh damdi marah doh lah angjih erah lam adi muungtuung thuk rumla.
27 In like manner also, even the males, leaving the natural use of the female, flamed out in their eager desire one for another, males with males, the indecency, effecting, —and, the necessary recompence of their error, within themselves, duly receiving; —
Erah likhiikkhiik miwah loong ah banlam doh bah minuh damdoh khoopiinjih angta rah ah thiinhaat ano miwah damdam di we luungla likhiik ih muungtuung rumla. Miwah loong ah erakriijih nengneng muungtuungla, erah thoidi neng thetre thaang chamchojih angta rah nengneng ih jam rumha.
28 And, even as they did not approve to be holding, God, in acknowledgment, God gave them up unto a disapproved mind to be doing the things that are not becoming,
Tumeah erah miloong ah ih Rangte mongtham neng thung ni tathiin rumka, erah thoidi Rangte ih neng ah ethih lam ni reethuk rumla, eno neng loong ah lareejih ah re rumla.
29 Filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, baseness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil disposition,
Neng tenthun ah jaatrep ethih ih me thuk rumla, ethih reeraang, nyamnyook, nyia jootthih; neng tenthun ni emiksuk mui, etek haatmui, changrook, mokwaan mui, nyia chamnaang di cham thuk rumla. Neng chamchi ni ejoobaat mui
30 Whisperers, detractors, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, vain boasters, inventors of vices, unto parents unyielding,
nyia esiit esiit ih thetbaat mui; neng ih Rangte ah miksuk rum, jeng lachaat thang, engaampo, nyia elonghoon noisok; neng ih lamthih rah ehan han ih boot jam rumha; neng ih nengnuh nengwah jeng uh takap rumka;
31 Without discernment, regardless of covenants, without natural affection, unmerciful: —
nengdi nengthung nengtak ah tajeeka; neng ih neng kakham jengkhaap ah takapka, nyia nengdi wahoh suh tenthet minchan ah tajeeka.
32 Who, indeed, having acknowledged the righteous sentence of God, —that, they who such things as these do practise, are worthy of death, not only, the same things, are doing, but are even delighting together with them who are practising [them].
Neng ih jat eha arah mina loong tongsong rumla likhiik ah Rangte Hootthe ni tekcho eah. Ang abah uh, neng ah amadi re ruh ih rumla, eno wahoh suh nep noisok leh reethuk et rumha.
