< 1 Corinthians 12 >
1 But, concerning the spiritually gifted, brethren, I am not wishing you to be ignorant.
Amadi, Esa Chiiala lakkot tiit sen ih raanghan ah amah.
2 Ye know that, when ye were of the nations, unto the dumb idols, howsoever ye were being led, ye were seduced.
Sen loong ah ih jat ehan rangnak mina ang tokdoh, tekmang tongmih rang ah soom anno maama thungthung ih moong reeraang katan.
3 Wherefore, I give you to know—that, no one, in God’s Spirit speaking, saith—Accursed Jesus! and, no one, can say—Lord Jesus! save in [the] Holy Spirit.
Sen loong asuh arah baat rumhala o bah uh Rangte Chiiala ih panha, erah mina ih mabah uh emah taliika ang ah. “Jisu etek toom e ah” nyia Esa Chiiala ih lapanka bah ah o eh uh “Jisu ajuuba Teesu” ngeh ih tadong jengka ang ah.
4 But, distributions of gifts, there are, yet the same Spirit,
Esa Chiiala lakkot ah phoosiit tah angka, erabah uh Chiiala abah phoosiit.
5 And, distributions of ministries, there are, and the same Lord,
Mootkaat pakna ah phoosiit tah angka, erabah uh Teesu wasiit mootkaat kala.
6 And, distributions of energies, there are, and the same God—who energiseth all things in all.
Mootkaat pakna jen mokala ah phoosiit tah angka, enoothong erarah Rangte ih erah mootkaat ah jen pakna suh jatthuk ha.
7 But, unto each one, is given the manifesting of the Spirit, with a view to that which is profitable;
Mirep suh ese ang raangtaan ih ma lam nawa ih ang abah uh Chiiala warep damdi roong tongla.
8 For, unto one, indeed, through the Spirit, is given, a word of wisdom, but, unto another, a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; —
Mina wasiit suh tiitkhaap baat suh Chiiala ih mongtham ese koha, eno erarah Chiiala ih wahoh suh mongtham tiit jen baat thuk ha.
9 Unto a different one, faith, in the same Spirit, and, unto another, gifts of healings, in the one Spirit,
Chiiala esiit ih wasiit suh rapne mi laalomjih koha, wahoh suh ah khoisat jen deesiit theng chaan koha.
10 And, unto another, energies of mighty works, [and], unto another, prophesying, [and], unto another, discriminations of spirits, —unto a different one, kinds of tongues, and, unto another, translation of tongues; —
Chiiala ih wasiit suh mih paatjaajih jen noisok suh chaan koha; wahoh suh Rangte tiit jen baatjih lakkot ah koha; eno mararah asuh ah tiimjaat Chiiala nawa ra hala, erah jen dan jatthuk ha. Mina wasiit suh lajatjih jengjeng thukla, eno wahoh suh langla erah tiim suh liiha ngeh ih mi toombaat thuk ha.
11 But, all these, energiseth the one and the same Spirit, distributing unto each one, peculiarly, even as it is disposed.
Enoothong Chiiala esiit ih erah loong ah mokala; heh ih mamah thunha, wasiit wasiit mina suh jihoh jihoh lakkot koha.
12 For, just as, the body, is one, and yet hath many members, but, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so, also, the Christ; —
Kristo ah sakpuh esiit likhiik, erah di hephaak hetaang hantek je ah; hephaak hetaang jihoh jihoh nawa roop abah uh, hesakpuh ah esiit.
13 For, even to one Spirit, we all, into one body, have been immersed, —whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, —and, all, of one Spirit, have been caused to drink.
Erah likhiikkhiik ih, seng loongtang, Jehudi angkoji adoleh Ranglajatte angkoji, dah angkoji adoleh maama pongwan angkoji, Chiiala phoosiit ih juutem thuk tahe eno Chiiala esiit jok thuk hali.
14 For, the body also, is not one member, but many:
Sakpuh ah hephaak hetaang esiit nawa ih luulu tahoonka, enoothong erah di hephaak hetaang hantek roopla.
15 Though the foot should say—Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
Lah ih mok li ah, “Ngah lak tah angkang, erah raangtaan ih ngah sakpuh damdoh taroong roopkang,” taatli abah uh sakpuh nawa jihoh tami hoonka.
16 And, though the ear should say—Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
Eno na rah ih mokli ah, “Ngah mik tah angkang, erah thoidi ngah sakpuh raangtaan tah angkang,” erabah uh sakpuh nawa ehoh tami ang thukka.
17 If, the whole body, were, an eye, where were the hearing? If, the whole were, hearing, where were, the smelling?
Sakpuh thoontang mik mok ang thengta bah, mamah mi chaat ah? Adoleh na luulu mok angta bah, mamah mi choting ah?
18 But, now, hath God set the members, each one of them in the body, even as he pleased.
Enoothong, jihoh jihoh hephaak hetaang loong ah Rangte ih hethung hoon hoon ih marah doh angtheng ah erah di donghoonta.
19 But, if they all had been one member, Where had been, the body?
Hephaak hetaang esiit luulu mok angta bah mabah uh hesakpuh tami ang thengta!
20 Now, however there are many members, yet one body;
Erah thoidi, hephaak hetaang hantek ih ang kano, sakphu esiit ih hoonla.
21 [And] the eye cannot say unto the hand—I have no need of thee, —nor, again, the head, unto the feet—I have no need of you: —
Mik ih lak suh mabah uh tajen liika, “Ngah ih an tajamra!” Adoleh khoh ih lah suh tami liika, “Ngah ih an tajamra!”
22 Nay! much more, the members which seem to be weaker are necessary,
Erah khodi, hephaak hetaang marah ehinthoon liihi mudoh sakpuh ah tami angka;
23 And, the parts of the body which we deem to be less honourable, on these, more abundant honour, do we bestow, and, our uncomely parts, have, more abundant comeliness,
eno hephaak hetaang marah ehinthoon liihi erah ah ehan sokboi theng ih hoonla; adoleh marah sok suh lajaaseeka erah ah ehan choomhoon theng ih hoonla,
24 Whereas, our comely parts, have, no need. But, God, hath tempered the body together, —unto that which was lacking, giving more abundant honour; —
marah hephaak hetaang jaaseethoon ah erah ba choomhoon theng tah angka. Rangte heh teeteewah ih hephaak hetaang loong ah loongtang esiit ih esiit sokboimui suh maradoh angtheng ah erah di hoonta.
25 That there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have, the same, care, one for another;
Erah raangtaan ih hesakpuh adi tiim uh tadanka, erah nang ebah hephaak hetaang loongtang esiit raangtaan ih mokala.
26 And, whether one member, suffereth, all the members, suffer with it, or, a member is glorified, all the members, rejoice together.
Hesakpuh dowa hephaak esiit mok sat abah, hephaak hetaang ehoh loong ah uh esat e ah; hephaak esiit ah egu ih abah, hephaak hetaang ehoh loong ah roong tenroon eh ah.
27 Now, ye, are the body of Christ, and members severally; —
Sen loong ah Kristo sakpuh, nyia sen loong ah esiit esiit hephaak hetaang.
28 And God hath, indeed, set, certain, in the assembly, —first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that mighty works, then gifts of healings, helps, guidings, kinds of tongues.
Chaas ni Rangte ih herit herit ih thiinha: Jakhothoon ah heh kaamwah loong ah, ritnyi adi khowah loong ah, ritjom adi nyootte loong ah, erah lih adi epaatjaajih jen reete loong ah, erah lih adi khoisatte jen deesiit theng chaan koha loong ah adoleh mih jen chosok ha loong ah adoleh halam jen phansiitte loong ah adoleh jengkhaap lajatjih jeng jengte loong ah.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all mighty works?
Neng loong thoontang kamwah tah angka adoleh khowah loong adoleh nyootte loong totoh tah angka. Epaatja theng jen re suh chaan thoontang suh takoka
30 Have, all, gifts of healings? Do, all, with tongues, speak? Do, all, translate?
adoleh khoisat jen deesiit suh, lajatjih jeng mi jeng suh, adoleh erah tiim suh liiha erah mi toombaatte tah angka.
31 Be envious, however, of the greater gifts; and, yet, a much more excellent way, unto you, I point out: —
