< 1 Corinthians 11 >
1 Become imitators of me, —even as, I also, [am] of Christ.
Nga lih phanhe, ngah ih Kristo liphan hang ah likhiik ah.
2 Now I praise you, that, in all things, ye have me in remembrance, and, even as I delivered unto you the instructions, ye hold them fast.
Sen ih ngah samthun thoidi nyia ngah ih nyootthiin rumtaha ah kap thoidi saarookwet eh gu rumhala.
3 But I wish you to know—that, the head of every man, is, the Christ, and, the head of a woman, is, the man; and, the head of the Christ, is, God.
Enoothong Ngah ih liihang ah langla, mina loongtang nang ih Kristo ah elongthoon ngeh ih warep ih jattheng, hesawah ah hesanuh khotok di elong, eno Rangte ah Kristo khotokdi elong.
4 Every man, praying, or prophesying, having anything upon his head, putteth to shame his head;
Erah raangtaan ih miwah ih nokraat nah heh khoh loop ano rangsoom abah nyia Rangte tiit baat abah heh ih Kristo thaangju ah.
5 But, every woman, praying, or prophesying, with her head, unveiled, putteth to shame her head, —for it is, one and the same, with her having been shaven.
Eno minuh ih nokraat nah heh khoh loopmuh ih rangsoom abah nyia Rangte tiit baat abah heh sawah thaangju ah; erah langla heh khoh loopmuh nyia khoh sui choi abah phoosiit.
6 For, if a woman doth not veil herself, let her also be shorn; but, if it were a shame in a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled.
Minuh ih heh khoh ah laloopka bah heh khoh ah sui laan ih abah ese ang ah. Eno minuh ih heh khoroon suihaat ah rakrekjih angphiino, heh khoh ah loop ejih.
7 For, a man, indeed, ought not to be veiling his head, being, the image and glory of God, —but, the woman, is the glory of man;
Miwah ah Rangte laaphaang likhiik nyia heh men raksiit suh ang thoidi, khoh ah laloop theng. Enoothong minuh ah miwah men raksiitte;
8 For, man, is not, of woman, but, woman, of man;
tiimnge liidi miwah ah minuh nawa tadongsiitta, enoothong minuh ah miwah nawa dongsiit dowa.
9 For also man was not created, for the sake of the woman, but woman, for the sake of the man.
Adoleh minuh raangtaan ih miwah ah tadongsiitta, enoothong minuh ah miwah raangtaan eh dongsiitta.
10 For this cause, ought the woman to have, permission, upon her head, because of the messengers.
Erah raangtaan ih, rangsah loong thoidoh, minuh ih heh khoh ah loop etjih, erah langla heh sawah lathong ni ngeh ih jatthuk ha.
11 Howbeit, neither is woman apart from man, nor man apart from woman—in the Lord;
Teesu mendi, seng roidong doh minuh ah heh pongwanwan tami tongka, erah likhiik miwah ah heh pongwanwan tami tongka.
12 For, just as the woman is of the man, so, also the man, is through means of the woman; —but, all things, are of God.
Tiimmnge liidoh minuh ah miwah nawa dongsiitta, erah likhiikkhiik miwah ah minuh nawa dongtup ha; eno jirep ah Rangte ih dong thukla.
13 Among your own selves, judge ye, —Is it becoming for a woman, —unveiled, to be praying unto God?
Sensen ih danjat an nokraat nah minuh ih heh kholoop muh ih rangsoomha ah epun tam tapunka.
14 Doth not, even nature herself, teach you—that, if, a man, have long hair, it is a dishonour to him;
Hebanlam ih, miwah ih kholoot thiin ah thaangju kaanse ngeh ih tiim esuh nyootsoot halan,
15 But, if, a woman, have long hair, it is a glory to her, for, her long hair, instead of a veil, hath been given to her.
enoothong minuh raang ebah jaassejih. Heh suh kholoh ah khoh loop suh koha.
16 But, if anyone thinketh to be contentious, we, have no such custom, —nor yet the assemblies of God.
Enoothong o ang anbah uh erah raang ih daanmui thung ang anbah, a baat rumhala, seng banlam nyia Rangte chaas mina loong banlam rangsoom tokdi jihoh banlam tajeeka.
17 But, in giving you the following charge, I praise you not, —in that, not for the better, but for the worse, ye come together.
Arah renbaat rumhala ah sen tagu rumra, rangsoom khoontong lan ah ese raangtaan lalek angthang ih ehan thoonthet thuk lan.
18 For, first of all, —when ye come together in assembly, I hear that divisions among you exist, —and, in part, I believe it;
Jaakhothoon ah, ngasuh chobaat rum halang, sen loong ah khoontongleh daanmui eh lantih, eno erah ami ju ang ah ngeh ih hanpi hang. (
19 For there must needs be, even parties among you, that, the approved, [themselves] may become manifest among you.
Tiim tah angka sen jaachi nah uh daanmui ejih, emah ang ano juuba o mina epun ah erah mina ah wuusa nah dongjat ah.)
20 When, therefore, ye come together into one place, it is not to eat, a supper unto the Lord;
Sen loong ah ih phaksat roomphaksah andi Teesu phaksat ngeh ih taphaksah kan.
21 For, each one, taketh beforehand, his own supper, in your eating, and, one, indeed, is hungry, whereas, another, is drinking to excess.
Sen ih erah phaksah han adi laroom phaksah thang ih maama phaksatsat ehan, erah thoidi mararah ah ramtek khamle ih tong roh eh rumla.
22 What! have ye not houses for your eating and drinking? or, the assembly of God, do ye despise, and, put to shame them who have nothing? What am I to say to you? Shall I praise you? In this, I praise you not.
Ejok ephak theng sen nok amuh tam ah? Adoleh Rangte chaas asuh lanook kanno changthih noodek loong ah rakrek thuksuh tamli han? Erah thoidoh ngah ih sen suh tiimjih li rumha ngeh ih samthun han? Ngah ih sen loong egu tam ih rumha? Taheh baam gu rumra!
23 For, I myself, received from the Lord—that which I also delivered unto you, —how that, the Lord Jesus, in the night in which he was being delivered up, took a loaf,
Tiimnge liidi sen suh korum taha ah Teesu ih nyootsoot hangrah angta: Erah langla Teesu Jisu mokwaanta rangphe ja baanlo chep toonpi ano,
24 And, giving thanks, brake it, and said—This, is my body, which is for you, —this, do ye, in remembrance of me;
Rangte suh lakookmi liita, baanlo ah chepphiit ano jengta, “Arah nga si ah langla sen raangtaan ih. Ngah dokthun suh sen ih arah phaktheng.”
25 In the same manner, the cup also, after they had taken supper, saying—This cup, is, the new covenant in my blood, this, do ye, as often soever as ye may be drinking it, in remembrance of me.
Erah phak lilih, lookkep ah toonpi ano we liita, “Arah lookkep adi Rangte jengdang ena je ah, erah di nga sih pan. Nga dokthun suh sen loong ah ih arah jok theng.”
26 For, as often as ye may be eating this loaf, and, the cup, may be drinking, The death of the Lord, do ye announce, until he come.
Sen loong ah ih saarookwet arah baanlo phak andoh nyia arah lookkep dowa jok andoh heh teewah maang raara Teesu tektiit ah baat an.
27 So that, whosoever may be eating the loaf, or drinking the cup of the Lord, in an unworthy manner, shall be responsible for the body and blood of the Lord.
Erah raangtaan ih sen loong dung dowa maramarah ih lachoomjoh thang ih Teesu baanlo nyia arah lookkep dowa jok phaksah anbah, Teesu si nyia sih ngathong ni sen loong moongre elan.
28 But let a man be proving himself, —and, so, of the loaf, let him eat, and, of the cup, let him drink;
Erah raangtaan ih, erah baanlo phak suh nyia lookkep dowa jok subah, jaakhoh maama teenuh teewah ih thaak jattheng.
29 For, he that is eating and drinking, —judgment unto himself, doth eat and drink, —if he be not setting apart the body.
Sen loong ah ih Teesu si nyia lookkep dowa tiimraang ih jok han ah laphang jat kanbah, erah jok phaksah han ah ih sensen dande han.
30 For this cause, many among you are weak and sickly; and, not a few, are falling asleep.
Erah thoidi sen loong ah hantek khoisat ang lan nyia enaang elan, mararah ah etek elan.
31 If, however, we had been setting, ourselves, apart, we had not, in that case, been coming under judgment;
Seng loong ah ih jaakhoh chaakjat ebah, Rangte ih dande theng tah angka.
32 But, being brought under judgment, by the Lord, are we being disciplined, lest, with the world, we should be condemned.
Enoothong Teesu ih seng loong ah dande hali nyia chamthuk hali abah, mongrep damdoh eroom ih ladut haat suh dande hali.
33 So then, my brethren, —when ye come together for the eating, unto one another, be giving welcome: —
Joon awaan loong, erah raangtaan ih, Teesu Phaksat room phaksah andoh, loongtang khoonban mui etheng.
34 If anyone be hungry, at home, let him eat, lest, unto judgment, ye be coming together. And, the remaining things, whensoever I come, I will set in order.
Eno sen ram ih ti anbah, sen nok nah phaksat theng, tiimnge liidoh sen loong lomkhoon andoh Rangte ih dande jih naktoom ang an. Jihoh loong tiit abah, ngah thok hangdoh ma phansiit ang.
