< Job 11 >
1 Then Zophar the Naamathite answered, and said,
Ket simmungbat ni Zofar a Naamita ket kinunana,
2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
“Saan kadi a rumbeng a masungbatan ti kastoy nga adu a sasao? Rumbeng kadi a patien daytoy a tao nga adu ti ibagbagana?
3 Should thy boastings make men hold their peace? And when thou mock, shall no man make thee ashamed?
Pagulimeken kadi ti panagpaspasindayawmo dagiti dadduma? No lalaisem ti panursuromi, awan kadi ti mangpabain kenka?
4 For thou say, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
Ta ibagbagam ti Dios, 'Nasin-aw ti pammatik, awan ti pakababalawak kadagiti matam.'
5 But O that God would speak, and open his lips against thee,
Ngem o, agsao koma ti Dios ket ilukatna dagiti bibigna a maibusor kenka;
6 and that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacts of thee less than thine iniquity deserves.
nga ipakitana kenka dagiti palimed ti kinasirib! Ta naindaklan isuna iti pannakaawat. Ammoem ngarud a basbassit ti dawdawaten ti Dios kenka ngem iti rumbeng kadagiti kinadakesmo.
7 Can thou find out God by searching? Can thou find out the Almighty to perfection?
Maawatam kadi ti Dios babaen iti panangsapsapulmo kenkuana? Maawatam kadi a naan-anay ti Mannakabalin amin?
8 It is high as heaven; what can thou do? Deeper than Sheol; what can thou know? (Sheol )
Ti panangammo iti Dios a naan-anay ket nangato a kas kangato ti langit; ania ti maaramidam? Naun-uneg ngem sheol; ania ti maammoam? (Sheol )
9 The measure of it is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
At-atiddug ti rukodna daytoy ngem ti daga, ken nalawlawa ngem ti baybay.
10 If he passes through, and shuts up, and all to judgment, then who can hinder him?
No lumabas isuna ken ikulongna ti siasinoman, no ayabanna ti siasinoman iti pangukoman, siasino ngarud ti makalapped kenkuana?
11 For he knows false men. He also sees iniquity. Will he not then consider it?
Ta am-ammona dagiti palso a tattao, no makakita isuna iti kinadakes, saanna kadi a madlaw daytoy?
12 But vain man is void of understanding. Yea, man is born as a wild donkey's colt.
Ngem awan pannakaawat dagiti maag a tattao; maawatanda daytoy no mangipasngay ti atap nga asno iti maysa a tao.
13 If thou set thy heart aright, and stretch out thy hands toward him,
Ngem kaspangarigan inaramidmo ti pusom a nalinteg ken intag-aymo dagita imam iti Dios;
14 if iniquity is in thy hand, put it far away, and let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents.
kaspangarigan ta adda dita imam ti kinadakes, ngem inyadayom daytoy kenka, ket saanmo nga impalubos nga agnaed ti kinasaan a nalinteg kadagiti toldam.
15 Surely then thou shall lift up thy face without spot. Yea, thou shall be steadfast, and shall not fear.
Ket awan duadua nga itangadmonto ti rupam nga awan ti pagilasinan iti bain; wen, napigsakanto ken saan a mabuteng.
16 For thou shall forget thy misery. Thou shall remember it as waters that are passed away.
Malipatamto ti kinakakaasim; malagipmonto laeng daytoy a kasla danum a nagayos.
17 And thy life shall be clearer than the noonday. Though there be darkness, it shall be as the morning.
Nalawlawagto ti biagmo ngem iti katengngaan ti aldaw; uray no adda ti kinasipnget, agbalinto daytoy a kasla ti agsapa.
18 And thou shall be secure, because there is hope. Yea, thou shall search about thee, and shall take thy rest in safety.
Natalgedkanto gapu ta adda ti namnama; wen, natalgedkanto ken aginnanakanto a natalged.
19 Also thou shall lie down, and none shall make thee afraid. Yea, many shall correspond with thee.
Agiddakanto met a natalged, ket awanto ti pagbutngam, pudno, adunto ti mangbiruk iti pabormo.
20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall have no way to flee. And their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit.
Ngem mapaayto dagiti mata dagiti nadangkes; awanto ti pagtarayanda; ti laeng namnamada ket ti maudi nga anges ti biag.”
