যদি কেউ যুদ্ধবন্দি হবার হয়, সে বন্দি হবে; যদি কেউ তরোয়ালের আঘাতে খুন হবার আছে, তাকে তরোয়াল দিয়ে খুন করা হবে। এ জন্য ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র মানুষের ধৈর্য্য ও বিশ্বাস দরকার।
যদি কেউ বন্দি হওয়ার জন্য নির্ধারিত, সে বন্দি হবে। যদি কেউ তরোয়ালের দ্বারা হত হওয়ার জন্য নির্ধারিত, সে তরোয়ালের দ্বারা হত হবে। এর অর্থ, পবিত্রজনেরা ধৈর্যের সঙ্গে নিপীড়ন সহ্য করবে ও বিশ্বস্ত থাকবে।
