He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

فَقَالَ: «وَلِهَذَا السَّبَبِ، فَأَيُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْكَتَبَةِ يَصِيرُ تِلْمِيذاً لِمَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ، يُشَبَّهُ بِإِنْسَانٍ رَبِّ بَيْتٍ يُطْلِعُ مِنْ كَنْزِهِ مَا هُوَ جَدِيدٌ وَمَا هُوَ عَتِيقٌ!»

He saith to them, On this account every scribe who is learned in the kingdom of heaven, is like to a man a house-lord, who bringeth forth from his treasuries the new and the old.
