Від Марка 13
1 І коли Він виходив із храму, говорить Йому один із учнів Його: „Подивися, Учителю — яке́ то каміння та що́ за будівлі!“
AND as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said unto him, Master, behold what vast stones, and what structures!
2 Ісус же до нього сказав: „Чи ти бачиш великі будинки оці? — Не зали́шиться тут навіть камінь на камені, який не зруйнується!“
And Jesus answering said to him, Beholdest thou these magnificent structures? there shall not be left one stone upon another which shall not be thrown down.
3 Коли ж Він сидів на Оливній горі, проти храму, питали Його насамоті Петро, і Яків, і Іван, і Андрій:
And as he was sitting on the mount of Olives, opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 „Скажи нам, коли станеться це? І яка буде озна́ка, коли все те ви́конатись має?“
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what is the sign when all these things shall come to pass?
5 Ісус же почав промовляти до них: „Стережіться, щоб вас хто не звів.
Then Jesus answering them, began to say, Beware that no man deceive you:
6 Бо багато-хто при́йдуть в Ім'я́ Моє, кажучи: „Це Я“. І зведу́ть багатьо́х.
for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many.
7 І як про ві́йни почуєте ви, і про воєнні чутки́, — не лякайтесь, бо статись належить тому́ “. Та це ще не кінець.
But when ye hear of wars, and rumours of wars, be not troubled: for these things must be; but the end is not yet.
8 „Бо повстане наро́д на наро́д, і царство на царство“, будуть землетруси місця́ми, буде голод. Це поча́ток терпінь породільних.
And nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and commotions: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 Пильнуйте ж самі, бо вас на суди видаватимуть, і бичуватимуть вас у синагогах, і поведуть до правителів та до царів ради Мене, на сві́дчення їм.
But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to their sanhedrims, and to the synagogues; ye shall be beaten with rods, and be set before kings and governors for my name’s sake, for a testimony unto them.
10 Але перше Єва́нгелія мусить бути наро́дам усім проповідувана.
And the Gospel must first be preached to all nations.
11 Коли ж видадуть вас і поведуть, — не турбуйтеся заздалегі́дь, що́ вам говорити, — а що́ дане вам буде тієї години, то те говоріть: бо не ви промовлятимете, але Дух Святий.
But when delivering you up, they shall bring you to the bar, be not previously anxious what ye shall say, neither premeditate: for it shall be given to you at that very hour, what ye shall speak: for it is not you, who are speaking, but the Holy Ghost.
12 І видасть на смерть брата брат, а ба́тько — дитину. І „діти повстануть навпроти батьків“, — і їм смерть заподіють.
And brother shall deliver up brother unto death, and the father the son: and children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
13 І за Ім'я́ Моє будуть усі вас нена́видіти. А хто витерпить аж до кінця, той буде спасе́ний!
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
14 Коли ж ви побачите ту „гидоту спусто́шення“, — що про неї звіщав пророк Даниїл, — що вона залягла́, де не слід, — хто читає, нехай розуміє, — тоді ті, хто в Юдеї, нехай в го́ри втікають.
But when ye see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing where it ought not (let him that readeth observe), then let those who are in Judea fly to the mountains:
15 І хто на покрівлі, нехай той не сходить, і нехай не входить узяти щось із дому свого́.
and let not him who is on the roof go down into the house, nor enter into it, to carry away any thing out of the house:
16 І хто на полі, — хай назад не вертається взяти одежу свою.
and he that is in the field, let him not return back to take his garment.
17 Горе ж вагітним і тим, хто годує грудьми́, у ті дні!
But wo to those who are big with child, and who have infants at their breasts in those days!
18 Моліться ж, щоб не трапилося це зимою!
And pray that your flight be not in winter.
19 Будуть бо ті дні такою „скорбо́тою, що її не було з первопо́чину світу“, що його Бог створив, „аж досі“, і не буде.
For these days shall bring tribulation, such as the like hath never been from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, and never shall be more.
20 І коли б Госпо́дь не вкоротив тих днів, — не спаслася б ніяка люди́на; але ради ви́браних, кого вибрав, укороти́в Він ті дні.
And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been preserved: but for the sake of those elect, whom he hath elected, he hath shortened the days.
21 Тоді ж, як хто скаже до вас: „Ото, Христос тут“, „Ото там“, — не йміть віри.
And then, if any man say to you, Lo, here is the Messiah! or, lo there! believe it not.
22 Бо повстануть христи́ неправдиві, і неправдиві пророки, і будуть чинити озна́ки та чу́да, щоб спокуси́ти, як можна, і ви́браних.
For many false Messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and shall propose signs and wonders to deceive, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 Але ви стережіться! Я сказав вам усе напере́д.
But be ye on your guard: lo! I have told you all things:
24 Але за тих днів, по скорбо́ті отій, „сонце затьми́ться, і місяць не дасть свого світла.
but in those days, after that distressing season, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not emit her light;
25 і зо́рі спада́тимуть з неба, і сили небесні пору́шаться.
and the stars of the heaven will be falling, and the powers that are in heaven will be shaken.
26 І побачать тоді „Сина Лю́дського, що йтиме на хмарах“із великою поту́гою й славою.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with vast power and glory.
27 І тоді Він пошле Анголів і зберуть Його ви́браних „від вітрі́в чотирьо́х, від кра́ю землі до крайнеба“.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather to him his elect from the four winds, from the extremity of the earth to the utmost bound of heaven.
28 Від дерева ж фіґового навчіться при́кладу: коли віття його вже розпу́кується, і кинеться листя, то знаєте, що близько літо.
Now learn from the fig-tree, a parable; When her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh;
29 Так і ви: коли тільки побачите, що діється це, то знайте, що близько, — під дверима.
so also you, when ye see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Поправді кажу́ вам: не пере́йде цей рід, аж усе оце станеться!
Verily I say unto you, That this generation shall not pass away, until all these things are fulfilled.
31 Небо й земля промину́ться, але не мину́ться слова́ Мої!
Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall never pass away.
32 Про день же той чи про годину не знає ніхто: ні анголи́ на небі, ні Син, — тільки Отець.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, nor the angels which are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
33 Уважайте, чува́йте й моліться: бо не знаєте, коли час той настане!
Take ye heed, watch, and pray; for ye know not when the time is.
34 Як той чоловік, що від'їхав, і залиши́в свій дім, і дав рабам своїм вла́ду й кожному працю свою, а воротаре́ві звелів пильнувати.
As a man going abroad, when he left his abode, and gave his servants authority, and to each his work, commanded also the porter to watch.
35 Тож пильнуйте, — не знаєте бо, коли при́йде пан дому: уве́чорі, чи опі́вночі, чи як півні співатимуть, чи ра́нком.
Watch ye therefore; for ye know not at what time the master of the house cometh, at evening, or midnight, or cock-crowing, or in the morning:
36 Щоб вас не застав, що спите́, коли ве́рнеться він несподі́вано.
lest coming suddenly he find you asleep.
37 А що вам Я кажу́, те всім Я кажу́: Пильнуйте!“
Now what I say to you, I say to all, Watch.
