До євреїв 1
1 Почасту і всяково промовляючи здавна Бог до батьків через пророків,
In many parts and many ways, God, having spoken long ago to the fathers by the prophets,
2 в останнї сї днї глаголав до нас через Сина, котрого настановив наслїдником усього, котрим і віки створив. (aiōn g165)
in these last days speaks to us in [His] Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the ages; (aiōn g165)
3 Сей, будучи сяєвом слави і обра-аом особи Його, і двигаючи все словом сили своєї, зробивши собою очищеннє гріхів наших, осївсь по правицї величчя на вишинах,
who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also all things by the saying of His might—having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness in the highest,
4 Стільки луччнй будучи від ангелів, скільки славнїще над їх наслїдував імя.
having become so much better than the messengers, as He inherited a more excellent name than them.
5 Кому бо рече коли з ангелів: Син мій єси Ти, я сьогоднї родив Тебе? і знов: Я буду Йому Отцем, а Він буде менї Сином?
For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son—today I have begotten You?” And again, “I will be to Him for a Father, and He will be to Me for a Son?”
6 Коли ж знов уводить Перворідня у вселенну, глаголе: І нехай поклонять ся Йому всї ангели Божі.
And when again He may bring the firstborn into the world, He says, “And let them worship Him—all messengers of God”;
7 І до ангелів же глаголе: Що творить духи ангелами своїми, а поломе огня слугами своїми.
and to the messengers, indeed, He says, “The [One] who is making His messengers spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire”;
8 Про Сина ж; Престол Твій, Боже, по вік вічний, палиця правоти - палиця царювання Твого. (aiōn g165)
but to the Son: “Your throne, O God, [is] throughout the age of the age; The scepter of righteousness [is the] scepter of Your kingdom; (aiōn g165)
9 Полюбив єси правду, і зненавидів беззаконнє; за се помазав тебе, Боже, Бог твій єлеєм радости більш спільників Твоїх.
You loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness; Because of this He anointed You—God, Your God—With oil of gladness above Your partners”;
10 І (знов): У починї Ти, Господи, землю оснував єси, і небеса - дїло рук Твоїх.
and, “You, LORD, founded the earth at the beginning, And the heavens are a work of Your hands.
11 Вони зникнуть. Ти ж пробуваєш, і всї, як шати зветшають,
These will perish, but You remain, And all will become old as a garment,
12 і як одежину згорнеш їх, і перемінять ся; Ти ж той же самий єси, і лїта Твої не скінчать ся.
And You will roll them together as a mantle, and they will be changed, But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.”
13 Кому ж із ангелів сказав коли: Сиди по правиці в мене, доки положу ворогів Твоїх підніжком ніг Твоїх?
And to which of the messengers did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand, Until I may make Your enemies Your footstool?”
14 Чи не всї ж вони служебні духи, посилаєм! на служеннє про тих, що хочуть наслідувати спасеннє?
Are they not all spirits of service—being sent forth for ministry because of those about to inherit salvation?
