< Marko 16 >
1 Adeɛ kyeeɛ a Homeda no twaam no, Maria Magdalene ne Salome ne Yakobo maame Maria kɔtɔɔ nnuhwam sɛ wɔde rekɔ akɔsra Yesu amu no.
When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Ɛda a ɛdi nnawɔtwe no ɛkan anɔpahema no, ansa na owia bɛpue no, wɔde nnuhwam no baa ɛda no so.
Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
3 Wɔnam ɛkwan so rekɔ no, na wɔredwene deɛ ɛbɛyɛ a wɔbɛpire ɛboɔ no afiri ɛda no ano no ho.
They were saying among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?"
4 Nanso, wɔreyɛ aduru hɔ no, wɔmaa wɔn ani so hunuu sɛ, obi apire ɛboɔ kokuroko no afiri ɛda no ano.
for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.
5 Wɔkɔɔ ɛda no mu kɔhunuu aberanteɛ bi sɛ ɔhyɛ atadeɛ fitaa te nifa so hɔ. Wɔhunuu no no, wɔbɔɔ birim.
Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
6 Nanso, aberanteɛ no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monnsuro. Ɛnyɛ Nasareni Yesu a wɔbɔɔ no asɛnnua mu no na morehwehwɛ no no? Ɔnni ha! Wasɔre! Monhwɛ faako a wɔde no toeɛ hɔ!
He said to them, "Do not be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Look, the place where they put him.
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.'"
8 Mmaa no de ehu ne ahopopoɔ dwane firii hɔ a, na obiara ntumi ne ne yɔnko nkasa.
They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.)
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
10 Maria Magdalene kɔɔ asuafoɔ no nkyɛn kɔhunuu wɔn sɛ wɔn werɛ ahoɔ, na wɔresu.
She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, wahunu Yesu na ɔte ase. Nanso, wɔannye no anni.
When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.
12 Akyire yi, Yesu yii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wɔn mu baanu a wɔnam firi Yerusalem rekɔ akuraa, nanso wɔhunuu no no, ahyɛaseɛ no, wɔantumi anhunu sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno, ɛfiri sɛ, na wasesa.
And after these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they walked on their way into the country.
13 Akyire no a wɔhunuu onipa ko a ɔyɛ no, wɔtuu mmirika sane baa Yerusalem, bɛka kyerɛɛ nkaeɛ no, nanso obiara annye wɔn anni.
And they went away and told it to the rest. They did not believe them, either.
14 Akyire no a asuafoɔ dubaako no te adidiiɛ no, ɔyii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wɔn. Ɔkaa wɔn anim wɔ gyidie a wɔnni ne gye a wɔannye wɔn a wɔbɛkaa sɛ wasɔre no anni no ho.
Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they were reclining, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
15 Afei, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monkɔ ewiase nyinaa nkɔka asɛmpa no nkyerɛ nnipa nyinaa.
And he said to them, "Go into all the world, and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation.
16 Na obiara a ɔgye di na wɔbɔ no asu no, wɔbɛgye no nkwa. Na obiara a ɔnnye nni no, wɔbɛbu no fɔ.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17 Saa nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ yi bɛdi wɔn a wɔgye me di no akyi. Wɔde me din bɛtu ahonhommɔne, na wɔaka kasa foforɔ.
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 Wɔbɛsɔ awɔ mu, na sɛ wɔnom awuduro bi mpo a, ɛrenyɛ wɔn hwee; wɔde wɔn nsa bɛgu ayarefoɔ so, ama wɔn ho ayɛ wɔn den.”
they will pick up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them; they will place their hands on the sick, and they will be made well."
19 Awurade Yesu ne wɔn kasa wieeɛ akyi no, wɔfaa no kɔɔ ɔsoro na ɔkɔtenaa Onyankopɔn nsa nifa so.
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 Yei akyi no, asuafoɔ no kɔkaa asɛm no wɔ baabiara, na Awurade kaa wɔn ho ma wɔyɛɛ nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ ne anwanwadeɛ ahodoɔ nso, de hyɛɛ wɔn nsɛm a wɔkaeɛ no mu den.
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the message by the signs that followed.
