< Yohane 16 >

1 “Mereka yeinom nyinaa akyerɛ mo na moatumi agyina hɔ pintinn.
These things have I spoken to you, that ye may not fall away.
2 Wɔbɛpam mo afiri wɔn asɔredan mu. Na ɛberɛ bi bɛba a obiara a ɔbɛkum mo no bɛsusu sɛ, sɛ ɔyɛ saa a, na ɔresom Onyankopɔn.
They will put you out of the synagogues; yea, the hour is coming when every one that killeth you will think that he is offering sacrifice to God.
3 Wɔde saa nneɛma yi bɛyɛ mo, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnnim Agya no na me nso wɔnnim me.
And these things will they do, because they neither know the Father nor me.
4 Nanso, mereka yei akyerɛ mo, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, sɛ ɛberɛ no duru a, mobɛkae deɛ meka kyerɛɛ mo no. Ahyɛaseɛ no, manka yei ankyerɛ mo, ɛfiri sɛ na meka mo ho.”
But I have spoken these things to you, that, when the time cometh, ye may remember that I myself told you of them. But these things I told you not at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 “Afei deɛ merekɔ deɛ ɔsomaa me no nkyɛn. Nanso, mo mu biara mmisaa me sɛ, ‘Ɛhe na worekɔ?’
But now I go to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
6 Deɛ maka akyerɛ mo yi ama mo werɛ aho.
But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your hearts.
7 Nanso, meka nokorɛ kyerɛ mo; ɛyɛ ma mo sɛ mɛkɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, sɛ mankɔ a, ɔboafoɔ no remma mo nkyɛn.
But I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I depart. For if I do not depart, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
8 Nanso, sɛ mekɔ a, mɛsoma no aba mo nkyɛn. Na sɛ ɔba a, ɔbɛma ewiasefoɔ ahunu wɔn bɔne ne deɛ ɛyɛ tenenee ne Onyankopɔn atemmuo.
And when he is come, he will bring conviction to the world, of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
9 Deɛ wɔka fa bɔne ho no nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnnye me nni.
Of sin, because they believe not in me;
10 Deɛ wɔka fa tenenee ho no nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, merekɔ Agya no nkyɛn na morenhunu me bio.
of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Saa ara na deɛ wɔka fa atemmuo ho no nso nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔabu ewiase yi ɔtemmufoɔ no atɛn dada.
of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.
12 “Mewɔ nsɛm pii ka kyerɛ mo, nanso seesei deɛ, morentumi nte aseɛ.
I have yet many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Sɛ nokorɛ Honhom no ba a, ɔbɛma moahunu nokorɛ no nyinaa. Ɔrenkasa mma ne ho, na mmom, deɛ ɔte no na ɔbɛka, na ɔbɛka nneɛma a ɛbɛba no ho nsɛm akyerɛ mo.
But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak from himself, but whatever he shall hear, that he will speak; and he will tell you the things to come.
14 Ɔbɛhyɛ me animuonyam, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbɛtie asɛm biara a meka no na wabɛka akyerɛ mo.
He will glorify me, for he will receive of what is mine, and will tell it to you.
15 Biribiara a mʼAgya wɔ no yɛ me dea. Ɛno enti na mekaa sɛ, Honhom no bɛtie biribiara a meka kyerɛ no, na wabɛka akyerɛ mo no.”
Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.
16 “Aka kakra bi morenhunu me, nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa, mobɛhunu me bio.”
A little while, and ye no longer behold me; and again a little while, and ye will see me.
17 Asuafoɔ no bi bisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho sɛ, “Yei ase ne sɛn? Ɔreka akyerɛ yɛn sɛ, ‘Aka kakra bi morenhunu me nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa na moasane ahunu me.’ Ɔsane kaa bio sɛ, ‘Ɛfiri sɛ, merekɔ Agya no nkyɛn.’”
Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, What is this that he saith to us, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye will see me? and, Because I go to the Father?
18 Wɔsane bisaa bio sɛ, “Saa asɛm, ‘aka kakra’ yi aseɛ ne sɛn? Yɛnte deɛ ɔreka yi ase.”
They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We do not know what he is speaking of.
19 Yesu hunuu sɛ wɔpɛ sɛ wɔbisa no asɛm a ɔkaeɛ no ase no enti, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mekaa sɛ, ‘aka kakra bi morenhunu me, nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa mobɛhunu me bio’. Yei ne asɛm a monte aseɛ a enti morebisabisa mo ho mo ho yi?
Jesus knew that they were desirous of asking him, and said to them, Is it of this that ye are inquiring of one another, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye will See me?
20 Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo; mo werɛ bɛho na moasu, nanso ewiasefoɔ ani bɛgye. Mobɛdi awerɛhoɔ nanso mo awerɛhoɔ no bɛdane anigyeɛ.
Truly, truly do I say to you, that ye will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; ye will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
21 Sɛ ɔbaa rebɛwo a, ne werɛ ho, ɛfiri sɛ, nʼamanehunuberɛ aduru so. Nanso, sɛ ɔnya wo a, ne werɛ firi ne yea, ɛfiri sɛ, nʼani gye sɛ wawo onipa aba ewiase.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, through joy that a man is born into the world.
22 Saa ara na ɛte wɔ mo ho. Seesei deɛ, mo werɛ aho. Nanso, mɛhunu mo bio ama mo ani agye na obi rentumi nnye saa anigyeɛ no mfiri mo nsam.
So ye also now have sorrow; but I shall see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one taketh from you.
23 Sɛ saa da no duru a, moremmisa me biribiara. Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo, Agya no de biribiara a mode me din bɛbisa no bɛma mo.
And in that day ye will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly do I say to you, Whatever ye shall ask the Father, he will give it you in my name.
24 Ɛbɛsi saa ɛberɛ yi, momfaa me din mmisaa biribiara da. Mommisa na wɔde bɛma mo na mo anigyeɛ awie pɛyɛ.
Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name; ask, and ye will receive, that your joy may be made full.
25 “Menam abɛbuo mu na maka yeinom akyerɛ mo. Nanso, ɛberɛ bi bɛba a merenkasa abɛbuo mu bio, na mmom, mɛka biribiara a ɛfa Agya no ho no pefee akyerɛ mo.
These things I have spoken to you in parables. The time is coming, when I shall no more speak to you in parables, but shall tell you plainly of the Father.
26 Sɛ saa da no duru a, mode me din bɛbisa no biribiara a ɛho hia mo. Menka sɛ me na mɛbisa Agya no ama mo,
In that day ye will ask in my name; and I do not tell you that I will pray the Father for you;
27 ɛfiri sɛ, Agya no ankasa dɔ mo. Ɔdɔ mo, ɛfiri sɛ, modɔ me na moagye adi sɛ mefiri Onyankopɔn nkyɛn na mebaeɛ.
for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
28 Mefiri Agya no nkyɛn na mebaa ewiase; na afei merefiri ewiase akɔ Agya no nkyɛn.”
I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 Nʼasuafoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Afei deɛ, wokasa pefee ma yɛte wo aseɛ.
His disciples say, Lo! now thou speakest plainly, and speakest no parable.
30 Yɛahunu sɛ wonim biribiara; ɛho nhia sɛ obi bisa wo nsɛm. Yei ama yɛagye adi sɛ wofiri Onyankopɔn nkyɛn.”
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any one should ask thee; by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ. “Afei deɛ, mogye di?
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Ɛberɛ bi rebɛduru, na mpo aduru dada a mo nyinaa bɛbɔ ahwete na obiara akɔ ne fie na aka me nko. Nanso, ɛrenka me nko ɛfiri sɛ, Agya no ka me ho.
Behold, the hour is coming, yea, is now come, when ye will be scattered, every one to his own, and will leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 “Maka yeinom akyerɛ mo na moanya asomdwoeɛ wɔ me mu. Mobɛhunu amane wɔ ewiase. Nanso, monnyina pintinn! Madi ewiase so nkonim!”
These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
