< Yesaia 11 >

1 Dua foforɔ bi bɛfefɛ wɔ Yisai dunsini ho; ɛfiri ne nhini mu na Dubaa bi bɛso aba.
Then shall spring forth a shoot from the stem of Jesse, And a sprout grow up from his roots.
2 Awurade Honhom bɛtena no so: nyansa ne nteaseɛ Honhom, afotuo ne tumi Honhom, nimdeɛ ne Awurade suro Honhom.
The spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of the knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah,
3 Na nʼani bɛgye wɔ Awurade suro mu. Ɛnnyɛ deɛ ɔde nʼani hunu soɔ na ɔbɛgyina abu atɛn, anaa deɛ ɔde nʼaso bɛteɛ soɔ na ɔbɛgyina asi gyinaeɛ;
He shall take delight in the fear of Jehovah; He shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of his ears.
4 na mmom ɔde tenenee bɛbu mmɔborɔfoɔ atɛn, ɔde atɛntenenee bɛsi gyinaeɛ ama asase so ahiafoɔ. Ɔde abaa a ɛyɛ nʼanom asɛm bɛwoso asase; ɔde ahome a ɛfiri nʼanom bɛkunkum amumuyɛfoɔ.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, And decide with equity for the afflicted of the land; He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; With the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 Tenenee bɛyɛ nʼabɔsoɔ na nokorɛdie ayɛ nʼabɔwomu.
Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 Pataku ne odwammaa bɛtena, ɔsebɔ ne abirekyie bɛda, nantwie ba ne gyata ne ne ba bɛbɔ mu; na abɔfra ketewa bi adi wɔn anim.
Then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb, And the leopard shall lie down with the kid; The calf, and the young lion, and the fatling shall be together, And a little child shall lead them.
7 Ɔnantwie ne sisire bɛbɔ mu adidi, wɔn mma bɛdeda faako, na gyata bɛwe wira te sɛ nantwie.
The cow and the bear shall feed together, Together shall their young lie down, And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 Akokoaa bɛdi agorɔ abɛn ɔprammire amena ano, na abɔfra ketewa de ne nsa ahyɛ ɔnanka bɔn mu.
The suckling shall play upon the hole of the asp, And the near-weaned child lay his hand on the hiding-place of the basilisk.
9 Wɔrenyɛ obi bɔne na wɔrensɛe adeɛ wɔ me bepɔ Kronkron nyinaa so, na Awurade ho nimdeɛ bɛyɛ asase so ma sɛdeɛ nsuo ayɛ ɛpo ma no.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; For the land shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, As the waters cover the depths of the sea.
10 Na da no, Yisai aseni no bɛsɔre; deɛ ɔbɛsɔre abɛdi amanaman no so; ɔno na wɔn ani bɛda ne so, na nʼahomegyebea bɛnya animuonyam.
In that day shall the shoot of Jesse stand as a banner to the nations, And to him shall the gentiles repair, And his dwelling-place shall be glorious.
11 Saa ɛda no, Awurade bɛma ne nsa so ne mprɛnu so de agye ne nkurɔfoɔ a wɔaka afiri Asiria, Misraim anafoɔ fam, Misraim atifi fam, Kus, Elam, Babilonia, Hamat ne Po so nsupɔ.
In that day shall Jehovah the second time stretch forth his hand To recover the remnant of his people, That remaineth, from Assyria, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, And from Shinar, and from Hamath, And from the islands of the sea.
12 Ɔbɛma frankaa so ama aman no na wɔaboaboa Israel atukɔfoɔ ano; Ɔbɛboaboa Yudafoɔ a wɔahwete no ano afiri asase ntwea ɛnan no so.
He shall set up a banner to the nations, And gather the outcasts of Israel, And bring together the dispersed of Judah, From the four extremities of the earth.
13 Efraim anibereɛ bɛtu ayera, na wɔbɛsɛe Yuda atamfoɔ. Efraim ani remmere Yuda bio, na Yuda nso rentane Efraim ani.
Then shall the jealousy of Ephraim depart, And the enmity in Judah be at an end; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, And Judah shall not contend with Ephraim.
14 Wɔbɛtwi afa Filistia nsaneɛ ahodoɔ no so akɔ atɔeɛ fam; na wɔbɛbɔ mu afo nnipa akɔ apueeɛ fam. Wɔbɛfa Edom ne Moab, na Amonfoɔ bɛhyɛ wɔn ase.
But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines at the sea; Together shall they plunder the children of the East; On Edom and Moab shall they lay their hand, And the sons of Ammon shall be subject to them.
15 Awurade bɛma nsuo a ɛwɔ Misraim Po no mu awe korakora; ɔbɛma ne nsa mu mframa a emu yɛ hyeɛ abɔ afa Asubɔnten Eufrate so. Ɔbɛpaapae mu ayɛ no nsuwansuwa nson sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a obiara bɛtumi ahyɛ mpaboa atwa.
Then will Jehovah utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea, And shake his hand over the river with a mighty wind, And smite it into seven streams, So that men may go over it dry-shod.
16 Ɛkwantempɔn bi bɛda hɔ ama ne nkurɔfoɔ nkaeɛfoɔ a wɔaka Asiria, sɛdeɛ ebi daa hɔ maa Israel ɛberɛ a wɔfiri Misraim baeɛ no.
And it shall be a highway for the remnant of the people, Which shall remain, from Assyria, As there was to Israel, When he came up from the land of Egypt.
