Mateo 11
1 Yesu wiee nʼasuafo dumien no kasakyerɛ no, ofii hɔ kɔɔ nkurow a ɛbemmɛn no mu kɔkyerɛkyerɛɛ asɛm no.
And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed there to teach and to preach in their cities.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

And said to him, Are you he that should come, or do we look for another?

Jesus answered and said to them, Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see:

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And blessed is he, whoever shall not be offended in me.
7 Yohane asuafo no kɔe no, Yesu fii ase kaa Yohane ho asɛm kyerɛɛ nnipadɔm no. Obisaa wɔn se, “Mokɔɔ sare so no, dɛn na mokɔɔ sɛ morekɔhwɛ? Sare a mframa rebɔ no?
And as they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John, What went you out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8 Anaa na mususuw sɛ mubehu ɔbarima bi a wahyehyɛ sɛ ɔhene ba te ahemfi?
But what went you out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
9 Anaa Onyankopɔn diyifo? Ɛno de, mereka akyerɛ mo se, nea muhuu no no sen odiyifo mpo.
But what went you out for to see? A prophet? yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.
10 Na saa Yohane yi na Kyerɛwsɛm no ka fa ne ho se, “‘Mɛsoma me bɔfo adi wʼanim kan. Ɔno na obesiesie ɔkwan ama wo.’
For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.
11 Nokware ni, nnipa a mmea awo wɔn nyinaa mu, obiara nni hɔ a wagye din sɛ Osuboni Yohane. Nanso nea ɔyɛ aketewa koraa wɔ Ɔsoro Ahenni mu no yɛ ɔkɛse sen no!
Truly I say to you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And if you will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like to children sitting in the markets, and calling to their fellows,

And saying, We have piped to you, and you have not danced; we have mourned to you, and you have not lamented.
18 Yohane bae a onnidi na ɔnnom no, wose, ‘Ɔwɔ honhommɔne.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He has a devil.

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a drunkard, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
21 “Korasin, due! Betsaida, due! Anwonwade a meyɛɛ no mo mu no, sɛ meyɛɛ no Tiro ne Sidon a, anka ɛhɔfo no de awerɛhow ne ahonu asakra wɔn adwene dedaw.
Woe to you, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 Atemmuda no, asɛm a ɛbɛto wɔn no bɛsen nea ɛbɛto Tiro ne Sidon!
But I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23 Na wo Kapernaum, wopɛ sɛ woma wo ho so, nanso wɔbɛbrɛ wo ase de wo akɔ amanehunu kurom. Anwonwade a meyɛɛ no wo hɔ no, sɛ wɔyɛɛ no Sodom a, anka ɛda so wɔ hɔ besi nnɛ. (Hadēs g86)
And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. (Hadēs g86)
24 Mereka nokware akyerɛ mo se, atemmuda no, Tiro ne Sodom benya gyinabea pa asen mo!”
But I say to you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.
25 Asɛnka no akyi, Yesu bɔɔ mpae se, “Agya, ɔsoro ne asase wura, meda wo ase sɛ woanna nokware no adi ankyerɛ wɔn a wosusuw sɛ wɔyɛ anyansafo, na mmom wodaa nokware no adi kyerɛɛ mmofra nkumaa.
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.
26 Yiw, Agya, wopɛ mu na woma ɛbaa saa.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.
27 “Mʼagya no de nneɛma nyinaa ahyɛ me nsa. Obiara nnim Ɔba no gye Agya no nko ara. Na obiara nnim Agya no gye Ɔba no, ne wɔn a Ɔba no pɛ sɛ ɔda no adi kyerɛ wɔn.
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 “Mo a moayɛ adwuma abrɛ na moasoa nnesoa nyinaa, mommra me nkyɛn, na mɛma mo ahome.
Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Momfa me konnua nto mo ho so, na munsua me, efisɛ midwo na mebrɛ me ho ase koma mu, na mubenya ɔhome ama mo kra.
Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.
30 Efisɛ me konnua yɛ mmerɛw, na mʼadesoa yɛ hare.”
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
