< Daniel 12 >
1 “Saa bere no, Mikael, ɔhene babarima titiriw a ɔbɔ wo nkurɔfo ho ban no bɛsɔre. Ahohia bere bi bɛba a, efi aman no mfiase besi saa da no, biribi a ɛte saa nsii da. Nanso saa bere no, wo nkurɔfo no mu biara a wobehu sɛ wɔakyerɛw ne din wɔ nhoma no mu no, wobegye no nkwa.
And, at that time, will Michael, the great ruler who standeth for the sons of thy people, make a stand, and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, up to that time, —and, at that time, shall thy people, be delivered, every one found written in the book;
2 Nnipadɔm a wɔadeda fam wɔ dɔte mu no benyan: ebinom bɛkɔ daa nkwa mu, na ebinom nso akɔ aniwu ne daa ahohora mu.
and, many of the sleepers in the dusty ground, shall awake, —these, [shall be] to age-abiding life, but, those, to reproach, and age-abiding abhorrence;
3 Wɔn a wɔyɛ anyansafo no bɛhyerɛn te sɛnea ɔsoro hyerɛn, na wɔn a wɔdan afoforo kɔɔ trenee mu no bɛhyerɛn sɛ nsoromma, daapem.
and, they who make wise, shall shine like the shining of the expanse, —and, they who bring the many to righteousness, like the stars to times age-abiding and beyond.
4 Nanso wo Daniel, bobɔw na sɔw nsɛm a ɛwɔ nhoma mmobɔwee no ano kosi awiei bere no. Bebree bekyinkyin akɔpɛ nimdeɛ.”
But, thou, Daniel, close up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end, —many will run to and fro, and knowledge, shall abound.
5 Afei, me Daniel, mehwɛ huu nnipa baanu bi wɔ mʼanim; ɔbaako gyina asubɔnten no konkɔn so, na ɔbaako nso gyina konkɔn a ɛhwɛ baako no anim no so.
Then, I, Daniel, looked, and lo! two others, standing, —one on this side of the bank of the river, and one on that side of the bank of the river.
6 Wɔn mu baako bisaa ɔbarima a ofura nwera a ogyina asu no so no se, “Ebedi nnaahe ansa na anwonwade yi aba mu?”
And one said to the man clothed with linen, who was upon the waters of the river, How long shall be the end of the wonders?
7 Ɔbarima no a ofura nwera na ɔwɔ asu no so no maa ne nsa nifa ne benkum so kyerɛɛ ɔsoro, na metee sɛ ɔde nea ɔte hɔ daa no kaa ntam se, “Ɛbɛkɔ so saa ara akosi bere bi, mmere bi ne bere sin bi. Sɛ nnipa kronkron no tumisɛe no ba awiei koraa a, wobewie saa nneɛma yi nyinaa.”
And I heard the man clothed with linen who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sware by him that liveth unto times age-abiding, —For a set time and times and a half, and, when the dispersion of a part of the holy people, is brought to an end, then shall come to an end all these things.
8 Metee, nanso mante ase. Enti mibisae se, “Me Wura dɛn na ebefi eyinom nyinaa mu aba?”
And, I, heard, but could not understand, —so I said, O my lord! what shall be the issue of these things?
9 Na obuae se, “Daniel kɔ, efisɛ wɔabobɔ nsɛm no so, asɔw ano de akosi awiei mmere no.
Then said he, Go thy way, Daniel; for closed up and sealed are the words, until the time of the end.
10 Wɔbɛhohoro bebree ho a fi ne nkekae biara renka wɔn ho, nanso atirimɔdenfo bɛkɔ so ayɛ atirimɔden; wɔn mu biara rente ase, nanso anyansafo de wɔbɛte ase.
Many, will purify themselves and be made white and be refined, but the lawless, will act lawlessly, and none of the lawless, shall understand, —but, they who make wise, shall understand;
11 “Efi da a wɔbɛbra daa afɔrebɔ na wɔde akyiwade a ɔsɛe nam ne so bɛba abesi hɔ no bɛyɛ nnafua apem ahannu aduɔkron.
and, from the time of the taking away of the continual [ascending-sacrifice], and the placing of the horrid abomination that astoundeth, [shall be] one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Nhyira ne nea ɔtwɛn kosi nnafua apem ahaasa aduasa anum awiei no.
Happy! is he that waiteth, and attaineth to one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 “Wo Daniel de, tintim kodu awiei. Wobɛhome, na nna no awiei no, wobɛsɔre na woakogye wo kyɛfa a ɛwɔ agyapade no mu.”
But, thou, go thy way to the end, —and thou shalt rest, and shalt rise to thy lot at the end of the days.
