1 Eyinom ne apon ano ahwɛfo no akuwakuw: Korafo mu no, yɛwɔ Kore babarima Meselemia a ofi Asaf abusua mu.
Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers [who were] of the Korchites: Meshelemyahu the son of Kore, of the sons of Assaph.
2 Meselemia mmabarima yɛ: Sakaria a ɔyɛ abakan, Yediael a ɔto so abien, Sebadia a ɔto so abiɛsa, Yatniel a ɔto so anan.
And Meshelemyahu had sons: Zecharyahu the first-born, Jedi'ael the second, Zebaiyahu the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam a ɔto so anum, Yehohanan a ɔto so asia, Eliehoenai a ɔto so ason.
Elam the fifth, Jehochanan the sixth, Elyeho'enal the seventh,
4 Na Obed-Edom mmabarima nso a wɔyɛ apon ano ahwɛfo yɛ: Semaia a ɔyɛ abakan, Yehosabad a ɔto so abien, Yoa a ɔto so abiɛsa, Sakar a ɔto so anan, Netanel a ɔto so anum,
And 'Obed-edom had sons: Shema'yah the first-born, Jehosabad the second, Joach the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
5 Amiel a ɔto so asia, Isakar a ɔto so ason, ne Peuletai a ɔto so awotwe. Onyankopɔn hyiraa Obed-Edom bebree.
'Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pe'ulthai the eighth; for God had blessed him.
6 Na Obed-Edom babarima Semaia wɔ mmabarima a wotumi ade yɛ yiye nti, wonyaa dibea a ekura tumi wɔ abusua no mu.
Also unto Shema'yah his son there were born sons, that were rulers for the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
7 Na wɔn din ne: Otni, Refael, Obed ne Elsabad; na wɔn abusuafo Elihu ne Semaia nso yɛ mmɔdemmɔfo.
The sons of Shema'yah were 'Othni, and Rephael, and 'Obed, [and] Elsahad, his brothers [were] valiant men, Elihu, and Semachyahu.
8 Obed-Edom asefo yi nyinaa a wɔn mmabarima ne wɔn nenanom a na wɔn nyinaa dodow yɛ aduosia abien no yɛ nnipa a na wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden yiye na wɔn nnwuma fata wɔn.
All these were of the sons of 'Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren were valiant men in strength for the service, being sixty and two [descendants] of 'Obed-edom.
9 Saa ara nso na na Meselemia mmabarima dunwɔtwe no ne wɔn abusuafo nso bɔ wɔn ho mmɔden yiye.
And Meshelemyahu had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
10 Hosa a ofi Merari abusua mu mma ne: Simri na odi kan (na ɔnyɛ abakan de, nanso nʼagya paw no sɛ ntuanoni wɔ ne mmabarima mu).
Also Chossah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief;
11 Na ne mmabarima no bi ne: Hilkia a na ɔto so abien. Tebalia na ɔto so abiɛsa na Sakaria to so anan. Na Hosa mmabarima ne nʼabusuafo a wɔsom sɛ apon ano ahwɛfo no nyinaa dodow yɛ dumiɛnsa.
Chilkiyahu the second, Tehalyahu the third, Zecharyahu the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Chossah were thirteen.
12 Saa apon ano hwɛfo akuw yi nam wɔn mmusua ntuanofo so som wɔ Awurade fi, sɛnea wɔn abusuafo yɛe no.
These divisions of the gatekeepers, after the chief men, had the watch along with their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13 Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so, de ɔwɛn adwuma wɔ apon ahorow ano hyɛɛ mmusua no nsa a wɔnhwɛ mfirihyia a obi adi, anaa ntetewee a wanya so.
And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their family divisions, for each and every gate.
14 Wɔde apuei pon ho dwumadi no hyɛɛ Meslemia ne ne kuw nsa. Atifi pon ho dwumadi nso, wɔde hyɛɛ ne babarima onyansafo Sakaria nsa.
And the lot at the east fell for Shelemyahu. And for Zecharyahu his son, an intelligent counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out at the north.
15 Anafo pon no, wɔde hyɛɛ Obed-Edom nsa, na wɔmaa ne mmabarima no hwɛɛ adekoradan no so.
For 'Obed-edom at the south; and to his sons [was assigned] the house of Assuppim.
16 Wɔmaa Supim ne Hosa hwɛɛ atɔe pon no ne ɔkwan a ɛkɔ asɔredan no mu no so. Wɔkyekyɛɛ ɔwɛn nnwuma no pɛpɛɛpɛ maa wɔn.
For Shuppim and for Chossah at the west, by the gate Shallecheth, on the ascending causeway, watch alongside of watch.
17 Da biara, na wɔma Lewifo baasia kɔ apuei pon no ho, na wɔma baanan kɔ atifi pon no ho, na baanan nso akɔ anafo pon no ho, na baanu baanu akokɔ adekoradan ahorow no mu biara ho.
At the east were six Levites, at the north four for every day, at the south four for every day, and for [the house of] Assuppim always two.
18 Da biara, na wɔma baasia kɔ atɔe pon no ho. Baanan kɔ ɔkwan a ɛkɔ asɔredan no mu no so, na baanu nso akɔ adiwo hɔ.
At the Parbar on the west, four at the causeway, and two at the Parbar.
19 Eyinom ne apon ano ahwɛfo a wofi Kora ne Merari mmusua mu no nkyekyɛmu.
These are the divisions of the gatekeepers of the sons of the Korchites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Lewifo a wɔaka a na Ahiya da wɔn ano no na na wɔhwɛ Onyankopɔn fi sikakorabea ne adekoradan so.
And of the Levites, Achiyah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the holy things.
21 Libni fi a na ɛwɔ Gerson abusua mu no, na Yehieli na na otua wɔn ano.
[As concerning] the sons of La'dan, the sons of the Gershunites of La'dan, the chiefs of the families of La'dan the Gershunite, were the Jechielites.
22 Yehieli mmabarima Setam ne ne nuabarima Yoel na na wɔhwɛ Awurade fi sikakorabea so.
The sons of Jechieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
23 Eyinom ne ntuanofo a wɔyɛ Amram, Yishar, Hebron ne Usiel asefo.
Of the 'Amramites, of the Yizharites, of the Hebronites, and of the 'Uzzielites,
24 Amram abusua mu, Sebuel yɛ Mose babarima Gersom aseni. Ɔno na na ɔyɛ ɔpanyin a ɔhwɛ sikakorabea no so.
[Was] even Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, superintendent of the treasuries.
25 Wɔn a wɔnam Elieser so yɛ nʼabusuafo ne Rehabia, Yesaia, Yoram, Sikri ne Selomot.
And his brethren by Eli'ezer: Rechabyahu his son, and Jesha'yahu his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Selomot ne nʼabusuafo na na wɔhwɛ sikakorabea a na wɔkora agyapade a wɔde ama Awurade no so. Agyapade no bi ne nea Dawid ne mmusua ntuanofo ne asahene ne asraafo mpanyimfo de maa Awurade no.
This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which king David had sanctified, together with the chiefs of the family divisions, the captains over the thousands and the hundreds, and the captains of the army.
27 Na saa mmarima yi de wɔn asade a wonyaa wɔ akodi mu no bi bae sɛ wɔmfa nsiesie Awurade fi.
Out of the wars, and out of the booty did they sanctify to maintain the house of the Lord.
28 Afei, na Selomot ne nʼabusuafo na wɔhwɛ nneɛma a Samuel a ɔyɛ odiyifo, Kis babarima Saulo, Ner babarima Abner ne Seruia babarima Yoab de maa Awurade no so. Nneɛma nkae a wɔde maa Awurade no nyinaa, na ɛhyɛ wɔn nsa.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruyah, had sanctified, whatsoever [any one] had sanctified, was under the supervision of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
29 Yishar abusua mu na Kenania fi. Ɔne ne mmabarima na woyii wɔn sɛ ɔman sohwɛfo ne atemmufo wɔ Israelman mu nyinaa.
Of the Yizharites were Kenanyahu and his sons for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Hebron abusua mu na Hasabia fi. Ɔne nʼabusuafo a wɔyɛ mmɔdemmɔfo a wɔn dodow yɛ apem ahanson na wɔma wɔhwɛɛ Israel nsase a ɛdeda Asubɔnten Yordan atɔe fam no so. Nsɛm a ɛfa Awurade ho, ne ɔhene a ɔwɔ mpasua no so som ho nyinaa yɛ wɔn asɛde.
Of the Hebronites were Chashabyahu and his brethren, valiant men, a thousand and seven hundred [in number], appointed over the affairs of Israel on this side of the Jordan to the west, for all the business of the Lord, and for the service of the king.
31 Bio, Hebron abusua mu na Yeria fi. Sɛnea awo ntoatoaso nkrataa kyerɛ no, ɔno na na ɔyɛ Hebronfo no ntuanoni. (Dawid dii hene no, ne mfe aduanan so, wɔhwehwɛɛ nkrataa mu na wohuu mmarima a wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden wɔ Hebron abusua no mu din wɔ kurow Yaser a ɛwɔ Gilead mu.
Of the Hebronites was Jeriyah the chief, for the Hebronites, according to their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the reign of David were they inquired into, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Ja'zer of Gil'ad.
32 Na mmarima a wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden mpem abien ne ahanson na na wɔwɔ Yeria abusua mu. Ɔhene Dawid ma wɔkɔɔ Asubɔnten Yordan apuei fam, maa wɔkɔhwɛɛ Ruben ne Gad mmusuakuw ne Manase abusuakuw fa no so. Nsɛm a ɛfa Onyankopɔn ho, ne ɔhene som ho nyinaa yɛ wɔn asɛde.)
And his brethren, valiant men, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of families: and king David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
