< Kolose 1 >

1 Ko au Paula, ko e ʻaposetolo ʻa Sisu Kalaisi ʻi he finangalo ʻoe ʻOtua, mo hoku tehina ko Timote,
Paul, an apostle of Yahushua the Messiah by the will of YHWH, and Timotheus our brother,
2 Ki he kāinga māʻoniʻoni mo angatonu ʻia Kalaisi ʻoku ʻi Kolose: Ke ʻiate kimoutolu ʻae ʻaloʻofa, mo e monūʻia, mei he ʻOtua ko ʻetau Tamai pea mo e ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi.
To the saints and faithful brethren in the Messiah which are at Colosse: Favour be unto you, and peace, from YHWH our Father and the Master Yahushua the Messiah.
3 ‌ʻOku ma fakafetaʻi ki he ʻOtua ko e Tamai ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, ʻo hūfia maʻu pe ʻakimoutolu,
We give thanks to YHWH and the Father of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, praying always for you,
4 Talu ʻema fanongo ki hoʻomou tui kia Kalaisi Sisu, pea mo hoʻomou ʻofa ki he kāinga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē,
Since we heard of your faith in the Messiah Yahushua, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
5 Koeʻuhi ko e ʻamanaki lelei ʻaia kuo hilifaki ʻi he langi maʻamoutolu, ʻaia naʻa mou fanongo ki ai ʻi muʻa ʻi he lea ʻoe moʻoni ʻoe ongoongolelei;
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 ‌ʻAia kuo aʻu atu kiate kimoutolu, pea pehē foki ki māmani kotoa pē; pea ʻoku tupu ai ʻae fua, ʻo hangē foki ko ia ʻiate kimoutolu, talu ʻae ʻaho naʻa mou ongoʻi ʻo ʻilo moʻoni ʻae ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua:
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the favour of YHWH in truth:
7 ‌ʻO hangē ko ia foki kuo mou ʻilo meia Epafasi, ko homa kaungā tamaioʻeiki ʻofeina, ʻaia ko e faifekau angatonu ʻa Kalaisi kiate kimoutolu;
As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of the Messiah;
8 ‌ʻAia foki naʻe fakahā kiate kimoua hoʻomou ʻofa ʻi he Laumālie.
Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9 Pea ko e meʻa ko ia foki, talu ʻae ʻaho naʻa ma fanongo ki ai, ʻoku ʻikai tuku ʻema hūfia ʻakimoutolu, pea mo e holi ke fakafonu ʻakimoutolu ʻaki ʻae ʻilo ki hono finangalo ʻi he poto kotoa pē mo e ʻilo fakalaumālie;
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 Pea ke mou ʻaʻeva ʻo taau mo e ʻEiki ʻo fakafiemālie ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē, ke mou fua lahi ʻi he ngāue lelei kotoa pē, pea tupulekina ʻi he ʻiloʻi ʻae ʻOtua;
That ye might walk worthy of the Master unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim;
11 Pea ke fakamālohi ʻakimoutolu ʻaki ʻae mafai kotoa pē, ʻo fakatatau mo ʻene mālohi lahi ʻaupito, ki he faʻa kātaki kotoa pē mo e kātaki fuoloa ʻi he fiefia;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 ‌ʻO fakafetaʻi ki he Tamai, ʻaia kuo ne ngaohi ʻakitautolu ke tau taau ke kau ʻi he tofiʻa ʻoe kāinga māʻoniʻoni ʻi he maama:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 ‌ʻAia kuo ne fakamoʻui ʻakitautolu mei he mālohi ʻoe poʻuli, pea kuo ne hiki ʻakitautolu ki he puleʻanga ʻo hono ʻAlo ʻofaʻanga:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 ‌ʻAia ʻoku tau maʻu ai ʻae huhuʻi ʻi hono taʻataʻa, ko e fakamolemole ʻoe ngaahi angahala:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 ‌ʻAia ko hono tatau ʻoe ʻOtua taʻehāmai, ko e ʻuluaki fānau ʻi he meʻa fakatupu kotoa pē:
Who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of every creature:
16 He naʻe fakatupu ʻe ia ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he langi, pea mo ia ʻoku ʻi māmani, ʻae meʻa hā mai mo e taʻehāmai, pe ko e ngaahi nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, pe ko e ngaahi ʻeikiʻanga, pe ko e ngaahi pule, pe ko e ngaahi mālohi: naʻe fakatupu ʻe ia ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē, pea naʻe maʻana ia:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 Pea ʻoku ki muʻa ia ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē, pea ʻoku tuʻumaʻu ʻiate ia ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē.
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 Pea ko e ʻulu ia ʻoe sino, ko e siasi: ʻaia ko e kamataʻanga, ko e ʻuluaki tupu mei he mate; koeʻuhi ke māʻolunga taha pe ia ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē.
And he is the head of the body, the assembly: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 He naʻe leleiʻia ke nofo ʻae fonu kotoa pē ʻiate ia;
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 Pea ʻi he fakamelino ʻaki ʻae taʻataʻa ʻi hono [tutuki ki he ]ʻakau, ke fakalelei ai ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē kiate ia; ʻiate ia, pe ko ha ngaahi meʻa ʻi māmani, pe ko e ngaahi meʻa ʻi he langi.
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 Pea ko kimoutolu, naʻe ʻāuhē ko e ngaahi fili ʻi muʻa ʻi loto ʻi he ngaahi ngāue kovi, ka ko eni kuo ne fakalelei...
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 ‌ʻI he sino ʻo hono kakano, ʻi he mate, koeʻuhi ke ne ʻatu ʻakimoutolu ʻoku mou māʻoniʻoni mo taʻemele mo taʻevalokiʻia ʻi hono ʻao:
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 ‌ʻO kapau te mou tuʻumaʻu ʻi he tui ʻo aka mo tuʻu fakamakatuʻu, pea ʻikai hiki mei he ʻamanaki lelei ʻoe ongoongolelei, ʻaia naʻa mou fanongo, pea naʻe malangaʻaki ki he kakai kotoa pē ʻi lalo langi; ʻaia kuo fakanofo au ko Paula ko e faifekau ʻo ia;
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 Pea ʻoku ou fiefia ni ʻi heʻeku ngaahi mamahi koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu, peau fakakakato ʻaia ʻoku toe ʻi he ngaahi mamahi ʻa Kalaisi ʻi hoku kakano koeʻuhi ko hono sino ʻoʻona, ʻaia ko e siasi.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of the Messiah in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the assembly:
25 ‌ʻAia kuo fakanofo au ko e faifekau ʻo ia, ʻo taau mo e tuʻutuʻuni ʻae ʻOtua naʻe foaki kiate au koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu, ke malanga lahi ʻaki ʻae folofola ʻae ʻOtua;
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the administration of Elohim which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of YHWH;
26 Ko e meʻa fufū ʻaia naʻe fakalilolilo ki he ngaahi kuonga mo e ngaahi toʻutangata, ka kuo fakahā eni ki heʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni: (aiōn g165)
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (aiōn g165)
27 ‌ʻAkinautolu ʻoku finangalo ʻae ʻOtua ke fakahā ki ai ʻae koloa ʻoe lelei lahi ʻoe meʻa fakalilolilo ni ki he kakai Senitaile: ko Kalaisi ʻiate kimoutolu, ko e ʻamanaki lelei ki he hakeakiʻi:
To whom YHWH would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is the Messiah in you, the hope of glory:
28 ‌ʻAia ʻoku mau malangaʻaki, ʻo valoki ʻae tangata kotoa pē, mo akonakiʻi ʻae tangata taau taha ʻi he poto kotoa pē; koeʻuhi ke mau ʻatu ʻae tangata kotoa pē kuo haohaoa ʻia Kalaisi Sisu:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in the Messiah Yahushua:
29 ‌ʻAe meʻa ko ia ʻoku ou ngāue ai foki, ʻi he fai feinga ʻo fakatatau mo ʻene ngāue, ʻaia ʻoku fai mālohi ʻaupito ʻiate au.
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
