Psaltaren 93

1 Herren är Konung och härliga beprydd; Herren är beprydd, och hafver begynt ett rike, så vidt som verlden är, och tillredt det, att det blifva skall.

Yahweh, you are the King! You are majestic, and the power that you have is [like] [MET] a robe that a king wears. You put the world firmly in place, and it will never be moved/shaken.

2 Ifrå den tiden står din stol fast; du äst evig.

You ruled as king a very long time ago; you have always existed.

3 Herre, vattuströmmarna upphäfva sig, vattuströmmarna upphäfva sitt fräsande; vattuströmmarna upphäfva sina böljor.

Yahweh, [when you created the world, you separated] the water from [the chaotic mass and formed oceans], and the waves of the waters [of those oceans] still roar,

4 De vågar i hafvet äro stora, och fräsa grufveliga; men Herren är ännu större i höjdene.

[but] you are greater than the roar of those oceans, more powerful than the ocean waves! You are Yahweh, the one who is greater than any other god!

5 Din ord äro en rätt lära; helighet, Herre, är dins hus prydning evinnerliga.

Yahweh, your laws never change, and your temple has always been holy/sacred. And that will be true forever.
