1 Kungaboken 21

1 Sedan detta skedt var, begaf sig, att Naboth, en Jisreelit, hade en vingård i Jisreel, vid Achabs palats, Konungens i Samaria.

And it was after the things these a vineyard it belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite which [was] in Jezreel beside [the] palace of Ahab [the] king of Samaria.

2 Och Achab talade med Naboth, och sade: Låt mig få din vingård; jag vill göra mig der en kålgård af, efter han ligger så när mitt hus; jag vill gifva dig en bättre vingård igen; eller, om dig så täckes, vill jag gifva dig der silfver före, så mycket han är värd.

And he spoke Ahab to Naboth - saying - give! to me vineyard your so may it belong to me to a garden of vegetables for it [is] near beside house my and I will give to you in place of it a vineyard good more than it if [it is] good in view your I will give to you money [the] price of this [one].

3 Men Naboth sade till Achab: Det låte Herren vara långt ifrå mig, att jag skulle låta dig få mina fäders arf.

And he said Naboth to Ahab far be it to me from Yahweh than to give I [the] inheritance of ancestors my to you.

4 Då kom Achab hem, illa tillfrids och vred, för det ordets skull, som Naboth den Jisreeliten till honom talat hade, och sagt: Jag vill icke låta dig få mina fäders arf. Och han lade sig uppå sin säng, och vände sitt anlete, och åt intet bröd.

And he went Ahab to house his sullen and furious on the word which he had spoken to him Naboth the Jezreelite and he said not I will give to you [the] inheritance of ancestors my and he lay down on bed his and he turned around face his and not he ate food.

5 Då kom Isebel hans hustru in till honom, och sade till honom: Hvad är det, att din ande är så illa tillfrids, och du intet bröd äter?

And she came to him Jezebel wife his and she spoke to him why? this [is] spirit your sullen and not you [are] eating food.

6 Han sade till henne: Jag hafver talat till Naboth den Jisreeliten, och sagt: Låt mig få din vingård för penningar; eller, om du hafver der lust till, vill jag gifva dig en annan igen; men han sade: Jag vill icke låta dig få min vingård.

And he spoke to her for I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and I said to him give! to me vineyard your for money or if [are] desiring you I will give to you a vineyard in place of it and he said not I will give to you vineyard my.

7 Då sade Isebel hans hustru till honom: Hvad vore för ett rike i Israel, om du gjordet? Statt upp, och ät bröd, och var vid godt mod; jag vill skaffa dig Naboths den Jisreelitens vingård.

And she said to him Jezebel wife his you now are you doing? kingship over Israel arise eat food so it may be good heart your I I will give to you [the] vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

8 Och hon skref bref under Achabs namn, och beseglade det med hans signet, och sände till de äldsta och öfversta i hans stad, de som bodde med Naboth;

And she wrote letters in [the] name of Ahab and she sealed [them] with seal his and she sent (letters *Q(K)*) to the elders and to the nobles who [were] in city his who dwelt with Naboth.

9 Och skref brefvet alltså: Låter utropa en fasto, och sätter Naboth främst ibland folket;

And she wrote in the letters saying proclaim a fast and make sit Naboth at [the] head of the people.

10 Och låter komma två Belials män fram för honom, som vittna, och säga: Du hafver välsignat Gud och Konungen; och förer honom ut, och stener honom till döds.

And make sit two men sons of worthlessness before him and let them testify against him saying you have blessed God and [the] king and take out him and stone him so may he die.

11 De äldste och hans stads öfverstar, som i hans stad bodde, gjorde såsom Isebel dem budit hade, såsom i brefvet skrifvet var, det hon till dem sändt hade;

And they did [the] people of city his the elders and the nobles who [were] the [ones who] dwelt in city his just as she had sent to them Jezebel just as [it was] written in the letters which she had sent to them.

12 Och läto utropa en fasto, och läto Naboth sitta öfverst ibland folket.

They proclaimed a fast and they made sit Naboth at [the] head of the people.

13 Då kommo de två Belials män, och ställde sig framför honom, och vittnade emot Naboth inför folket, och sade: Naboth hafver välsignat Gud och Konungen. Då förde de honom ut för staden, och stenade honom ihjäl.

And they came [the] two the men sons of worthlessness and they sat before him and they testified against him [the] men of worthlessness Naboth before the people saying he has blessed Naboth God and [the] king and they took out him from [the] outside of the city and they stoned him with stones and he died.

14 Och de bådade Isebel, och sade: Naboth är stenad, och död.

And they sent to Jezebel saying he has been stoned Naboth and he has died.

15 Då nu Isebel hörde, att Naboth var stenad, och död, sade hon till Achab: Statt upp, och tag in Naboths vingård den Jisreelitens, den han dig nekat hafver för penningar; förty Naboth lefver icke, utan är död.

And it was when heard Jezebel that he had been stoned Naboth and he had died and she said Jezebel to Ahab arise take possession of [the] vineyard of - Naboth the Jezreelite which he refused to give to you for money for not Naboth [is] alive for he has died.

16 Då Achab hörde, att Naboth var död, stod han upp, att han skulle gå ned till Naboths den Jisreelitens vingård, och taga honom in.

And it was when heard Ahab that he had died Naboth and he arose Ahab to go down to [the] vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite to take possession of it.

17 Men Herrans ord kom till Elia den Thisbiten, och sade:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Elijah the Tishbite saying.

18 Statt upp, och gack ned emot Israels Konung, som är i Samarien; si, han är i Naboths vingård, dit han nedergången är, till att taga honom in.

Arise go down to meet Ahab [the] king of Israel who [is] in Samaria there! [he is] in [the] vineyard of Naboth where he has gone down there to take possession of it.

19 Och tala med honom, och säg: Så säger Herren: Du hafver dräpit, dertill ock intagit. Och du skall tala med honom, och säga: Detta säger Herren: På den staden, der hundar hafva slekt Naboths blod, skola ock hundar sleka ditt blod.

And you will speak to him saying thus he says Yahweh ¿ have you murdered and also have you taken possession? and you will speak to him saying thus he says Yahweh in [the] place where they licked up the dogs [the] blood of Naboth they will lick up the dogs blood your also you.

20 Och Achab sade till Elia: Hafver du ju funnit mig för din fienda? Han sade: Ja, hafver jag så funnit dig; derföre, att du såld äst till att intet annat göra, än det ondt är för Herranom.

And he said Ahab to Elijah ¿ have you found me O enemy my and he said I have found [you] because you having sold yourself to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.

21 Si, jag skall låta komma ondt öfver dig, och borttaga dina efterkommande, och skall utrota utaf Achab ock den som på väggena pissar, och den som innelyckt och igenlefd är i Israel;

Here I ([am] about to bring *Q(k)*) to you evil and I will sweep away after you and I will cut off to Ahab [one who] urinates on a wall and shut up and freed in Israel.

22 Och skall göra ditt hus såsom Jerobeams hus, Nebats sons, och såsom Baesa hus, Ahia sons, för det retandets skull, der du mig med förtörnat hafver, och kommit Israel till att synda.

And I will make house your like [the] house of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat and like [the] house of Baasha [the] son of Ahijah because of the provocation which you have provoked to anger and you have caused to sin Israel.

23 Och om Isebel talade Herren desslikes, och sade: Hundar skola uppäta Isebel vid murarna i Jisreel.

And also of Jezebel he has spoken Yahweh saying the dogs they will devour Jezebel in [the] rampart of Jezreel.

24 Hvilken af Achab dör i stadenom, den skola hundar äta; och hvilken som dör på markene, den skola foglar under himmelen äta.

The [one who] dies of Ahab in the city they will devour the dogs and the [one who] dies in the open country they will devour [the] bird[s] of the heavens.

25 Alltså var ingen, den, så alldeles såld var till att göra det ondt var för Herranom, såsom Achab; ty hans hustru Isebel eggade honom dertill.

Certainly not anyone was like Ahab who he sold himself to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh whom she incited him Jezebel wife his.

26 Och han gjorde sig till en stor styggelse, så att han vandrade efter afgudar, såsom de Amoreer gjort hade, hvilka Herren för Israels barn fördrifvit hade.

And he acted abominably exceedingly by walking after the idols according to all that they had done the Amorite[s] whom he dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.

27 Då Achab dessa orden hörde, ref han sönder sin kläder, och drog en säck på sin kropp, och fastade, och sof i säckenom, och gick luto.

And it was when heard Ahab the words these and he tore clothes his and he put sackcloth on body his and he fasted and he lay down in the sackcloth and he went about dejectedly.

28 Och Herrans ord kom till Elia den Thisbiten, och sade:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Elijah the Tishbite saying.

29 Hafver du icke sett, huru Achab bugar sig för mig? Efter han nu bugar sig för mig, vill jag icke låta komma det onda i hans dagar; men i hans sons tid skall jag låta komma det onda öfver hans hus.

¿ Have you seen that he has humbled himself Ahab from to before me because for he has humbled himself from before me not (I will bring *Q(k)*) evil in days his in [the] days of son his I will bring evil on house his.
