1 Zaburi ya Daudi. Mpeni Bwana, enyi mashujaa, mpeni Bwana utukufu na nguvu.

A psalm of David ascribe to Yahweh O sons of gods ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

2 Mpeni Bwana utukufu unaostahili jina lake; mwabuduni Bwana katika uzuri wa utakatifu wake.

Ascribe to Yahweh [the] glory of name his bow down to Yahweh in adornment of holiness.

3 Sauti ya Bwana iko juu ya maji; Mungu wa utukufu hupiga radi, Bwana hupiga radi juu ya maji makuu.

[the] voice of Yahweh [is] over the waters [the] God of glory he thunders Yahweh [is] over waters many.

4 Sauti ya Bwana ina nguvu; sauti ya Bwana ni tukufu.

[the] voice of Yahweh [is] with strength [the] voice of Yahweh [is] with majesty.

5 Sauti ya Bwana huvunja mierezi; Bwana huvunja vipande vipande mierezi ya Lebanoni.

[the] voice of Yahweh [is] breaking cedars and he broke in pieces Yahweh [the] cedars of Lebanon.

6 Hufanya Lebanoni irukaruke kama ndama, Sirioni urukaruke kama mwana nyati.

And he made skip them like a calf Lebanon and Sirion like a young one of wild oxen.

7 Sauti ya Bwana hupiga kwa miali ya umeme wa radi.

[the] voice of Yahweh [is] striking flames of fire.

8 Sauti ya Bwana hutikisa jangwa; Bwana hutikisa Jangwa la Kadeshi.

[the] voice of Yahweh it causes to tremble [the] wilderness he causes to tremble Yahweh [the] wilderness of Kadesh.

9 Sauti ya Bwana huzalisha ayala, na huuacha msitu wazi. Hekaluni mwake wote wasema, “Utukufu!”

[the] voice of Yahweh - it causes labor pains to does and it stripped bare forests and in temple his all of it [is] saying glory.

10 Bwana huketi akiwa ametawazwa juu ya gharika; Bwana ametawazwa kuwa Mfalme milele.

Yahweh to the flood he sat and he sat Yahweh king for ever.

11 Bwana huwapa watu wake nguvu; Bwana huwabariki watu wake kwa kuwapa amani.

Yahweh strength to people his he will give Yahweh - he will bless people his with peace.
