Zacarías 3

1 Y me dejó ver a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, en su lugar delante del ángel del Señor, y a Satanás a su diestra listo para acusarlo.

And the Lord schewide to me the greet prest Jhesu, stondynge bifore the aungel of the Lord; and Sathan stood on his riythalf, that he schulde be aduersarie to hym.

2 Y el ángel del Señor le dijo a Satanás: Que él Señor te reprenda, oh Satanás, reprendate el Señor, que ha escogido a Jerusalén: ¿no es este hombre como un tizón en llamas que fue sacado del fuego?

And the Lord seide to Sathan, The Lord blame in thee, Sathan, and the Lord that chees Jerusalem, blame in thee. Whether this is not a deed broond rauyschid fro the fier?

3 Ahora Josué estaba vestido con túnicas inmundas, y él estaba en su lugar delante del ángel.

And Jhesus was clothid with foule clothis, and stood bifor the face of the aungel.

4 Y respondiendo, dijo a los que estaban allí ante que él: Quítate las vestiduras inmundas, te he quitado tu iniquidad y te vestiré con ropa de gala;

Which answeride, and seide to hem that stoden bifor hym, and he seide, Do ye awei foule clothis fro him. And he seide to hym, Lo! Y haue don awei fro thee thi wickidnesse, and Y haue clothid thee with chaungynge clothis.

5 Y que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza. Entonces le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza y lo vistieron con túnicas limpias; y el ángel del Señor estaba de pie.

And he seide, Putte ye a clene mytre on his heed. And thei puttiden a cleene mytre on his heed, and clothide him with clothis. And the aungel of the Lord stood,

6 Y el ángel del Señor hizo una declaración a Josué, y dijo:

and the aungel of the Lord witnesside to Jhesu,

7 Estas son las palabras del Señor de los ejércitos: si sigues mis caminos y guardas lo que he puesto bajo tu cuidado, entonces serás juez sobre mi Templo y cuidarás de mi casa, y te daré el derecho de entrar entre los que están allí.

and seide, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, If thou schalt go in my weies, and schalt kepe my kepynge, also and thou schalt deme myn hous, and schalt kepe my porchis; and Y schal yyue to thee goeris, of these that now here stonden niy.

8 Escucha, oh Josué, el sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que están sentados delante de ti; porque estos son hombres que son un prodigio, dejaré que mi siervo sea visto; él Retoño.

Here thou, Jhesu, greet preest, thou and thi frendis that dwellen bifore thee, for thei ben men signefiynge thing to comyng. Lo! sotheli Y schal brynge my seruaunt spryngynge up, ether Crist borun.

9 Porque mira, la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos: mira, grabaré una inscripción y, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de esa tierra en un día.

For lo! the stoon which Y yaf bifor Jhesu, on o stoon ben seuene iyen; and lo! Y schal graue the grauyng therof, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal do a wei the wickidnesse of that lond in o dai.

10 En ese día, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, cada uno de ustedes llamará a su prójimo debajo de la vid y debajo de la higuera.

In that dai, seith the Lord of oostis, a man schal clepe his frend vndur a vyn tre, and vndur a fige tre.
