Zacarías 1
1 En el octavo mes, en el segundo año de Darío, la palabra del Señor vino a Zacarías, el hijo de Berequías, el hijo del profeta Ido, le dijo:
In the eiythe monethe, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, the sone of Barachie, the sone of Addo,
2 El Señor se enojó mucho con sus padres:
profete, and seide, The Lord is wrooth on youre fadris with wrathfulnesse.
3 Y les dirás: Estas son las palabras del Señor de los ejércitos: Vuelve a mí, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, y volveré a ti.
And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis. Be ye conuertid to me, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal be conuertid to you, seith the Lord of oostis.
4 No seas como tus padres, a quienes vino la voz de los profetas anteriores, diciendo: Vuélvanse ahora de sus malos caminos y de sus malos actos; pero ellos no me escucharon ni tomaron nota, dice el Señor.
Be ye not as youre fadris, to whiche the formere profetis crieden, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Be ye conuertid fro youre yuel weies, and youre worste thouytis; and thei herden not, nether token tent to me, seith the Lord of oostis.
5 Tus padres, ¿dónde están? y los profetas, ¿siguen viviendo para siempre?
Where ben youre fadris and profetis? whether thei schulen lyue with outen ende?
6 Pero mis palabras y mis órdenes, que les di a mis siervos los profetas, ¿no han alcanzado a sus padres? y volviéndose, dijeron: Como era el propósito del Señor de los ejércitos hacernos, en recompensa por nuestros caminos y nuestras acciones, así lo ha hecho.
Netheles my wordis and my lawful thingis, whiche Y comaundide to my seruauntis profetis, whether thei tauyten not youre fadris? And thei weren conuertid, and seiden, As the Lord of oostys thouyte for to do to vs bi oure weies, and bi oure fyndingis he dide to vs.
7 En el vigésimo cuarto día del undécimo mes, el mes de Sebat, en el segundo año de Darío, la palabra del Señor vino a Zacarías, el hijo de Berequías, el hijo del profeta Ido, diciendo:
In the foure and twentithe dai of the enleuenthe monethe Sabath, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, sone of Barachie, sone of Addo,
8 Vi en la noche a un hombre montado en un caballo rojo, entre las montañas en el valle, y a su espalda había caballos, rojos, negros, blancos y de colores mezclados.
profete, and seide, Y saiy bi niyt, and lo! a man stiynge on a reed hors; and he stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, that weren in the depthe, and aftir hym weren horsis reede, dyuerse, and white.
9 Entonces dije: Oh mi señor, ¿qué son estos? Y el ángel que me hablaba me dijo: Te dejaré claro quienes son.
And Y seide, My lord, who ben these? And an aungel of the Lord seide to me, that spak in me, Y schal schewe to thee what these ben.
10 Y el hombre que estaba entre los mirtos, respondiéndome, dijo: Estos son los que el Señor ha enviado para subir y bajar por la tierra.
And the man that stood bitwix places where mirtis wexen, answeride, and seide, These it ben, whiche the Lord sente, that thei walke thorouy erthe.
11 Y el hombre que estaba entre los mirtos, respondiendo, dijo al ángel del Señor: Hemos subido y bajado por la tierra, y toda la tierra está tranquila y en reposo.
And thei answeriden to the aungel of the Lord, that stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, and seiden, We han walkid thorouy erthe, and lo! al erthe is enhabitid, and restith.
12 Entonces el ángel del Señor, respondiendo, dijo: Oh Señor de los ejércitos, ¿cuánto tiempo pasará antes de que tengas misericordia de Jerusalén y de las ciudades de Judá contra las cuales tu ira ha estado ardiendo durante setenta años?
And the aungel of the Lord answeride, and seide, Lord of oostis, hou long schalt thou not haue merci on Jerusalem, and citees of Juda, to whiche thou art wrooth? This now is the seuentithe yeer.
13 Y el Señor respondió con palabras buenas y consoladoras al ángel que me estaba hablando.
And the Lord answeride to the aungel, that spak in me, goode wordis, and wordis of coumfort.
14 Y el ángel que me hablaba me dijo: Que tu voz sea fuerte y diga: Estas son las palabras del Señor de los ejércitos: Estoy muy celoso por Jerusalén y Sión.
And the aungel that spak in me, seide to me, Crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Y louyde Jerusalem and Sion in greet feruour;
15 Y estoy muy enojado con las naciones que viven muy despreocupadas; porque cuando estaba un poco enojado, ayudaron a empeorar el mal.
and in greet wraththe Y schal be wroth on riche folkis; for Y was wrooth a litil, forsothe thei helpiden in to yuel.
16 Así que esto es lo que el Señor ha dicho: he vuelto a Jerusalén con misericordia; mi casa se colocará en ella, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, y se extenderá una línea sobre Jerusalén.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Y schal turne ayen to Jerusalem in mercies. Myn hous schal be bildid in it, seith the Lord of oostis; and a plomet schal be streiyt out on Jerusalem.
17 Y otra vez que tu voz sea fuerte y diga: Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor de los ejércitos: Mis ciudades volverán a desbordarse de cosas buenas, y nuevamente el Señor consolará a Sión y escogerá a Jerusalén otra vez.
Yit crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Yit my citees schulen flete with goodis, and yit the Lord schal coumforte Sion, and yit he schal chese Jerusalem.
18 Y alzando mis ojos vi cuatro cuernos.
And Y reiside myn iyen, and Y saiy, and lo! foure hornes.
19 Y le dije al ángel que me hablaba: ¿Qué son estos? Y él me dijo: Estos son los cuernos que han hecho huir a Judá, Israel y Jerusalén.
And Y seide to the aungel that spak in me, What ben these? And he seide to me, These ben hornes, that wyndewiden Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.
20 Y el Señor me dio una visión de cuatro artesanos.
And the Lord schewide to me foure smythis.
21 Entonces dije: ¿Qué han venido a hacer? Y él dijo: Estos son los cuernos que enviaron a Judá en fuga, y le impidieron levantar la cabeza; pero estos artesanos han venido a aterrorizar y a derribar los cuernos, de las naciones que levantaron sus cuernos contra la tierra de Judá para dispersarlos.
And Y seide, What comen these for to do? Which spak, seiynge, These ben the hornes, that wyndewiden Juda bi alle men, and no man of hem reiside his heed; and these camen for to make hem aferd, that thei caste doun the hornes of hethene men, which reisiden horn on the lond of Juda, for to scatere it.
