Salmos 77

1 Estaba clamando a Dios con mi voz; a Dios clamé con mi voz, y él me escuchó.

To the Overseer, for Jeduthun. — A Psalm of Asaph. My voice [is] to God, and I cry, my voice [is] to God, And He hath given ear unto me.

2 En el día de mi aflicción, mi corazón se volvió hacia el Señor: mi mano estaba extendida en la noche sin descanso; mi alma rehusaba ser consolada.

In a day of my distress the Lord I sought, My hand by night hath been spread out, And it doth not cease, My soul hath refused to be comforted.

3 Mantendré a Dios en la memoria, con sonidos de dolor; mis pensamientos están turbados, y mi espíritu está vencido. (Selah)

I remember God, and make a noise, I meditate, and feeble is my spirit. (Selah)

4 Mantienes mis ojos del sueño; Estoy tan preocupado que no llegan las palabras.

Thou hast taken hold of the watches of mine eyes, I have been moved, and I speak not.

5 Mis pensamientos se remontan a los días del pasado, a los años que ya pasaron.

I have reckoned the days of old, The years of the ages.

6 El recuerdo de mi canción vuelve a mí en la noche; y meditaba en mi corazón; mi espíritu se preguntaba.

I remember my music in the night, With my heart I meditate, and my spirit doth search diligently:

7 ¿El Señor me apartará para siempre? ¿Ya no será amable?

To the ages doth the Lord cast off? Doth He add to be pleased no more?

8 ¿Su misericordia se ha ido para siempre? tiene su palabra a nada?

Hath His kindness ceased for ever? The saying failed to all generations?

9 ¿Ha olvidado Dios el recuerdo de su compasión? ¿Sus misericordias son cerradas por su ira? (Selah)

Hath God forgotten [His] favours? Hath He shut up in anger His mercies? (Selah)

10 Y dije: Es un peso sobre mi espíritu; pero tendré en cuenta los años de la diestra del Altísimo.

And I say: 'My weakness is, The changes of the right hand of the Most High.'

11 Tendré en cuenta las obras de JAH: mantendré el recuerdo de tus maravillas pasadas.

I mention the doings of Jah, For I remember of old Thy wonders,

12 Pensaré en todo tus obras. mientras mi mente repasa tus actos de poder.

And I have meditated on all Thy working, And I talk concerning Thy doings.

13 Tu camino, oh Dios, es santo: ¿Que dios es tan grande como nuestro Dios?

O God, in holiness [is] Thy way, Who [is] a great god like God?

14 Tú eres el Dios que hace obras de poder; has hecho clara tu fuerza para las naciones.

Thou [art] the God doing wonders. Thou hast made known among the peoples Thy strength,

15 Con tu brazo has hecho libre a tu pueblo, los hijos de Jacob y José. (Selah)

Thou hast redeemed with strength Thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)

16 Te vieron las aguas, oh Dios; las aguas te vieron, tenían miedo; incluso el abismo estaba turbado.

The waters have seen Thee, O God, The waters have seen Thee, They are afraid — also depths are troubled.

17 Las nubes enviaron agua; los cielos emitían un sonido; y relámpagos por todas partes.

Poured out waters have thick clouds, The skies have given forth a noise, Also — Thine arrows go up and down.

18 La voz de tu trueno comenzó a rodar; el mundo estaba ardiendo con la luz de la tormenta; la tierra estaba temblando.

The voice of Thy thunder [is] in the spheres, Lightnings have lightened the world, The earth hath trembled, yea, it shaketh.

19 Tu camino estaba en el mar, y tu camino en las grandes aguas; no había conocimiento de tus pasos.

In the sea [is] Thy way, And Thy paths [are] in many waters, And Thy tracks have not been known.

20 Estabas guiando a tu pueblo como un rebaño, por la mano de Moisés y Aarón.

Thou hast led as a flock Thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron!
