1 Pedro 1
1 Pedro, un apóstol de Jesucristo, a los santos que viven esparcidos en el Ponto, Galacia, Capadocia, Asia y Bitinia,
PETROS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, to the chosen-ones and sojourners who are scattered in Pontos and in Galatia, and in Kapadukia, and in Asia, and in Bithunia:
2 Que, por el propósito de Dios, han sido santificados por el Espíritu, discípulos de Jesús, limpios por su sangre: que tengan gracia y paz en toda su plenitud.
them who are elected by the foreknowledge of Aloha the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, that they might be unto obedience, and unto the sprinkling of the blood of Jeshu Meshiha: grace and peace be multiplied with you.
3 Alabado sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, quien por su gran misericordia nos ha dado un nuevo nacimiento y una esperanza viva por la venida nuevamente de Jesucristo de entre los muertos,
Blessed be Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who by his abundant grace hath begotten us anew through the resurrection of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha unto the hope of salvation,
4 Para una herencia incorruptible, no puede mancharse ni marchitarse,
and to the inheritance which is not corruptible, and not defiled, and not to be consumed, which is prepared for you in heaven,
5 Que, por el poder de Dios, se guardan, por medio de la fe, para la salvación, que se verá en el último día.
while you are kept by the power of Aloha and through faith, unto the salvation which is prepared to be revealed in the last times;
6 Tienes motivo para una gran alegría en esto, aunque por un poco tiempo, si es necesario, pasen por muchas pruebas,
wherein you will rejoice for ever, though in this little time you are afflicted by manifold temptations which pass over you;
7 De modo que sometida a prueba de su fe, siendo de mucho mayor valor que el oro (que, aunque llega a su fin, se prueba con fuego), puede ser hallada en la luz en alabanza, gloria y honor, en la revelación de Jesucristo.
that the proof of your faith may be seen, which is more precious than gold refined which is proved in fire, unto praise and unto honour and unto glory, at the revelation of Jeshu Meshiha;
8 A quien se ha dado tu amor, aunque no lo hayas visto; y la fe que tienes en él, aunque no lo ves ahora, te da alegría tan grande y gloriosa que no se puede expresar con palabras.
whom you have not seen and (yet) love, and in whose faith you exult with glorious joy that is not spoken:
9 Porque así tienes el verdadero fin de tu fe, incluso la salvación de tus almas.
that you may receive the recompence of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Porque los profetas que dieron la noticia de la gracia que vendría a ustedes, hicieron una búsqueda con todo cuidado para el conocimiento de esta salvación.
That salvation which the prophets investigated when they prophesied concerning the grace which was to be given unto you,
11 Escudriñando qué persona y que tiempo apuntaba el Espíritu de Cristo que estaba en ellos, cuando daba testimonio de los dolores que sufriría Cristo y las glorias que vendrían después de ellos.
and searched into, what time the Spirit of the Meshiha who dwelt in them showed and testified of the future sufferings of the Meshiha, and his glory which (should be) after them.
12 Y quedó claro a los profetas que ellos no eran siervos de Dios sino para ustedes, para darles la palabra de las cosas que ahora han llegado a sus oídos de los predicadores de las buenas nuevas a través del Espíritu Santo enviado del cielo; cosas que incluso los ángeles tienen el deseo de ver.
And all that they searched was revealed to them; for not for themselves they inquired, but to us (and) of us they prophesied those (blessings) which now are revealed to you by them who have preached to you by the Spirit of Holiness which is sent from heaven; for into these themselves the angels also desire to look.
13 Así que prepárense y vigilen, esperando con todo su poder la gracia que vendrá a ustedes en la revelación de Jesucristo;
Wherefore gird up the loins of your minds, and be fully wakeful, and hope for the joy that cometh to you at the revelation of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha;
14 Al igual que los niños gobernados por Dios, no vuelvan a los viejos deseos del tiempo en que no tenían conocimiento;
as obedient children, and not partaking again of the former desires which you desired when ignorant.
15 Sino sean santos en cada detalle de sus vidas, como él, cuyos siervos son, es santo;
But be holy in all your conversations, as he is holy who calleth you;
16 Porque como se dijo en las Escrituras, Sean santos, porque yo soy santo.
because it is written, Be ye holy, as I also am holy.
17 Y si le das el nombre de Padre a aquel que, juzgando a cada hombre por sus actos, no tiene respeto por la posición de un hombre, entonces anden con reverencia a Dios mientras estás en esta tierra;
And if you call him Father before whom there is no respect of persons, and who judgeth every man according to his works, with fear conduct you in this time of your sojourn;
18 Siendo consciente de que has sido liberado de eso una forma de vida insensata que fue herencia de sus padres, no mediante el pago de cosas como plata u oro que se destruyen,
while you know that not with silver which wasteth away, nor with gold, you have been redeemed from your vain works which you received from your fathers,
19 Sino por sangre santa, como la de un cordero limpio y sin mancha, la sangre de Cristo,
but with the precious blood of the Lamb spotless and unblemished, who is the Meshiha;
20 Que fue destinado por Dios antes de la creación del mundo, pero se lo hizo ver en estos últimos tiempos para ustedes,
who was afore-separated for this from before the foundations of the world, and hath been manifested in these last times for you,
21 Que a través de él tuvieron fe en Dios que lo resucitó de entre los muertos y le ha dado la gloria; para que su fe y su esperanza estén en Dios.
who by him believe in Aloha, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and your hope may be in Aloha.
22 Y como han limpiado sus almas, siendo gobernados por lo que es verdad, y amándose unos a otros sin engaño, vean que su amor es cálido y del corazón puro;
Let your souls be sanctified in obedience to the truth, and be filled with the charity which respecteth not persons, that with a pure heart and perfect you may love one another,
23 Porque han tenido un nuevo nacimiento, no de la simiente del hombre, pero de la semilla eterna, a través de la palabra de un Dios vivo e inmutable. (aiōn g165)
as men who are regenerated, not by a perishable seed, but by that which is imperishable, by the living word of Aloha which abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
24 Porque se dice: Toda carne es como hierba, y toda su gloria como la flor de la hierba. La hierba se seca y la flor se cae;
Because all flesh is grass, and all its beauty as the flower of the field. The grass withereth and the flower drieth up,
