Salmos 95

1 Veníd, alegrémosnos en Jehová: cantemos con júbilo a la Roca de nuestra salud.

Oh come, let us sing to Yahweh; let us sing joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

2 Anticipemos su rostro con alabanza: cantémosle alegres con salmos.

Let us enter his presence with thanksgiving; let us sing to him with psalms of praise.

3 Porque Jehová es Dios grande; y Rey grande sobre todos los dioses.

For Yahweh is a great God and a great King superior to all gods.

4 Porque en su mano están las profundidades de la tierra: y las alturas de los montes son suyas.

In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his.

5 Porque suya es la mar, y él la hizo: y sus manos formaron la seca.

The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

6 Veníd, postrémosnos, y encorvémosnos, arrodillémonos delante de Jehová nuestro hacedor.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Yahweh, our Creator:

7 Porque él es nuestro Dios: y nosotros el pueblo de su pasto, y ovejas de su mano. Si hoy oyereis su voz,

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. Today—oh, that you would hear his voice!

8 No endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en Meriba: como el día de Masa en el desierto,

“Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, or as on the day of Massah in the wilderness,

9 Donde me tentaron vuestros padres, probáronme, también vieron mi obra.

where your forefathers tested me and tried me, though they had seen my deeds.

10 Cuarenta años combatí con la nación: y dije: Pueblo son que yerran de corazón, que no han conocido mis caminos:

For forty years I was angry with that generation and said, 'This is a people whose hearts wander astray; they have not known my ways.'

11 Por tanto yo juré en mi furor: No entrarán en mi holganza.

Therefore I vowed in my anger that they would never enter into my resting place.”
