San Lucas 20
1 Un día mientras [Jesús] enseñaba al pueblo y proclamaba las Buenas Noticias en el Templo, aparecieron los principales sacerdotes, los escribas y los ancianos
AND it was on one of the days, while he taught the people in the temple and evangelized, the chief priests and scribes with the elders rose up against him,
2 y le preguntaron: ¿Con cuál autoridad haces estas cosas? ¿Quién te dio la autoridad?
and said to him, Tell us by what authority thou doest these, and who is he who gave thee this authority?
3 Les respondió: Yo también les preguntaré un asunto. Díganme:
Jeshu answered and said to them, I will also ask of you a word, and tell you me:
4 El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo o de [los] hombres?
the baptism of Juchanon, from heaven was it, or from the sons of men?
5 Entonces ellos razonaron: Si decimos del cielo, dirá: ¿por qué no le creyeron?
But they reasoned within themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven, he saith to us, Why did you not believe him?
6 Si decimos, de hombres, todo el pueblo nos apedreará, porque se convencieron de que Juan era profeta.
But if we shall say, From men, all the people will stone us; for they are persuaded that Juchanon was a prophet.
7 Respondieron que no sabían de dónde era.
And they said to him, We know not from whence it is.
8 Jesús les dijo: Tampoco Yo les digo con cuál autoridad hago estas cosas.
Jeshu saith to them, Nor tell I you by what authority I do these.
9 Entonces dijo al pueblo esta parábola: Un hombre plantó una viña, se la arrendó a unos labradores y salió de viaje por mucho tiempo.
And he began to speak to the people this parable: A certain man planted a vinery, and let it to husbandmen, and removed for a great time.
10 En el tiempo oportuno envió un esclavo a los labradores para que le dieran su parte de la cosecha, pero los labradores lo golpearon y lo enviaron con las manos vacías.
And at the season he sent his servant to the husbandmen that they should give him of the fruit of the vinery. But the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
11 Procedió a enviar a otro esclavo, pero ellos también lo humillaron, golpearon y lo enviaron con las manos vacías.
And he added and sent another servant; but they beat him also, and maltreated him, and sent him away empty.
12 Envió a un tercero, y ellos lo hirieron y lo expulsaron de la viña.
And he added and sent a third; but they also wounded him, and cast him out.
13 Entonces el dueño de la viña se preguntó: ¿Qué haré? Enviaré a mi hijo amado. Tal vez éste sea respetado.
The lord of the vinery saith, What shall I do? I will send my son, the beloved; now will they see him and reverence him.
14 Pero al verlo, los labradores razonaban unos con otros: Éste es el heredero. [Conviene] que lo matemos para que la heredad sea nuestra.
But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
15 Lo sacaron de la viña y lo asesinaron. ¿Qué, pues, les hará el dueño de la viña?
And they cast him out of the vinery, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vinery do to them?
16 Vendrá y destruirá a estos labradores, y dará la viña a otros. Al escuchar [esto] dijeron: ¡Que nunca suceda!
He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will give the vinery to others. But when they heard, they said, May this not be!
17 Entonces Él los miró fijamente y preguntó: ¿Qué significa esto que está escrito? Una piedra que desecharon los que edifican Fue convertida en cabeza de ángulo.
But he beheld them, and said, And what is that which is written, The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner?
18 Todo el que cae sobre esta piedra se quebrará, pero sobre aquel que caiga, lo desmenuzará.
And every one who shall fall upon this stone shall be broken; and every one on whom it shall fall it will scatter him.
19 En aquella hora los escribas y los principales sacerdotes trataron de arrestarlo, porque entendieron que la parábola era contra ellos, pero tuvieron temor al pueblo.
But the chief priests and Sophree sought to lay hands on him in that very hour; but they feared the people, for they knew that concerning them(selves) he had spoken this parable.
20 Después de asecharlo enviaron espías para que fingieran ser justos con el propósito de atraparlo en [alguna] palabra, a fin de entregarlo a las autoridades.
And they sent to him spies, who should resemble just men, that they might take him in discourse, and deliver him to the judgment and to the authority of the governor.
21 Le preguntaron: Maestro, sabemos que hablas y enseñas rectamente y que no haces acepción de personas, sino en verdad enseñas el camino de Dios.
And they asked him, and said to him, Doctor, we know that thou speakest and teachest rightly, neither dost thou deceive, but with integrity thou teachest the way of Aloha.
22 ¿Nos es lícito pagar tributo a César, o no?
Is it lawful for us to give head-silver to Cesar or not?
23 Al percibir la astucia de ellos, les contestó:
But he understood their subtilty, and said, Why tempt you me?
24 Muéstrenme un denario. ¿De quién es la imagen y la inscripción? Ellos respondieron: De César.
Show me a dinara. Of whom upon it is the image and the inscription? But they said, Of Cesar.
25 Él les dijo: Den a César lo de César, y a Dios lo de Dios.
Jeshu saith to them, Give then of Cesar's to Cesar, and of Aloha's unto Aloha.
26 Y no pudieron atrapar una palabra de Él delante del pueblo, y maravillados por su respuesta, callaron.
And they could not take hold of his words before the people; and they wondered at his answer, and were silent.
27 Entonces se acercaron unos saduceos, quienes dicen que no hay resurrección, y le preguntaron:
BUT some of the Zadukoyee approached, they who say that there is no resurrection;
28 Maestro, Moisés nos escribió: Si un hombre muere y deja viuda sin hijos, que su hermano tome a la viuda y levante descendencia a su hermano.
and they questioned him, and said to him, Doctor, Musha wrote to us that if a man's brother die having a wife who hath not children, his brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
29 Había siete hermanos, y el primero tomó esposa y murió sin hijos.
But there were seven brethren; and the first took; a wife, and died without children.
30 También el segundo
And the second took his wife, and he died without children.
31 y el tercero la tomaron. Igualmente los siete. No dejaron hijos y murieron.
And the third also took her; and so also the seven of them: and they died and left no children.
32 Finalmente, murió también la mujer.
Died in the end also the woman.
33 En la resurrección, ¿de cuál de ellos será esposa? Porque los siete la tuvieron como esposa.
In the resurrection therefore, whose of them shall she be the wife? for the seven of them had taken her.
Jeshu saith to them, The sons of this world take wives, and women become (the wives) of men: (aiōn g165)
35 Pero los que son considerados dignos de llegar a aquella era, y de la resurrección de entre [los] muertos, no se casarán ni se darán en matrimonio. (aiōn g165)
but they who of that world are worthy, and of the resurrection which is from among the dead, take not wives, neither do women become (the wives) of men. (aiōn g165)
36 Porque ni siquiera pueden morir, ya que son como ángeles. Al ser hijos de la resurrección son hijos de Dios.
Neither again can they die, for they are as the angels; and the children are they of Aloha, because they have become the children of the resurrection.
37 Aún Moisés reveló en [el pasaje de] la zarza, que los muertos resucitan, cuando llama al Señor: el Dios de Abraham, Dios de Isaac y Dios de Jacob.
But that the dead arise, Musha also showeth; for he commemorateth at the bush, while he saith, The Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Ishok, and the God of Jakub.
38 No es Dios de muertos, sino de vivos, porque para Él todos viven.
But he was not the God of the dead, but of the living: for they all live unto him.
39 Algunos escribas respondieron: Bien dicho, Maestro.
And some of the Sophree answered and said to him, Doctor, thou hast well said.
40 Y ya nadie tenía el valor de hacerle más preguntas.
And they dared not question him again of any thing.
41 Entonces les preguntó: ¿Cómo dicen que el Cristo es Hijo de David?
AND he said to them, How say the Sophree concerning the Meshicha, that he is the Son of David?
42 Porque el mismo David dice en un rollo de salmos: Dijo [el] Señor a mi Señor: Siéntate a mi derecha
And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,
43 Hasta que ponga a tus enemigos como estrado de tus pies.
until I put thine adversaries beneath thy feet.
44 Pues si David lo llama Señor, ¿cómo, pues, es Hijo de Él?
If David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he his son?
45 Mientras el pueblo escuchaba, dijo a los discípulos:
And while all the people heard, he said to his disciples,
46 Tengan cuidado con los escribas, quienes desean andar con ropas externas largas. Aman las salutaciones en las plazas y [los] primeros asientos en las congregaciones y [los] puestos de honor en las cenas.
Beware of the Sophree, who will to walk in stoles, and love the shaloma in public places, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and the chief reclining-places at evening feasts;
47 Pero devoran los bienes de las viudas y hacen largas conversaciones con Dios como pretexto. Éstos tendrán un juicio más severo.
who devour the houses of widows, and for the occasion prolong their prayers: these shall receive the greater judgment.
