Salmos 61

1 Para el director del coro. Acompañado de instrumentos de cuerda. Un salmo de David. Por favor, Dios, escucha mi ruego de ayuda. Escucha mi oración.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme of David. Heare my cry, O God: giue eare vnto my prayer.

2 Desde la distancia y lejos de mi hogar, clamo a ti a medida que mi fe desmaya. Llévame a la roca, en lo alto, donde pueda estar seguro,

From the endes of the earth will I crye vnto thee: when mine heart is opprest, bring me vpon the rocke that is higher then I.

3 porque tú eres mi protección, una torre fuerte en la que mis enemigos no pueden atacarme.

For thou hast bene mine hope, and a strong tower against the enemie.

4 Déjame vivir contigoj por siempre y protégeme bajo la seguridad de tus alas. (Selah)

I will dwell in thy Tabernacle for euer, and my trust shall be vnder the couering of thy wings. (Selah)

5 Porque tú, oh Dios, has escuchado las promesas que hice. A los que te aman tu carácter les has dado tu bendición especial.

For thou, O God, hast heard my desires: thou hast giuen an heritage vnto those that feare thy Name.

6 Por favor dale al rey muchos años más, y que su reino perdure a través de las generaciones.

Thou shalt giue the King a long life: his yeeres shalbe as many ages.

7 Que siempre viva en tu presencia. Que tu fidelidad y amor incondicional lo protejan.

Hee shall dwell before God for euer: prepare mercie and faithfulnes that they may preserue him.

8 Entonces cantaré eternamente alabanzas a ti, y cada día cumpliré mi promesa hacia ti.

So will I alway sing prayse vnto thy Name in performing dayly my vowes.
