Salmos 6

1 Para el director del coro. Para acompañamiento de instrumentos de cuerda según el Seminit. Un salmo de David. Señor, por favor, no me condenes por causa de tu enojo hacia mi; por favor, no me castigues con tu ira.

“To the chief musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, a psalm of David.” O Lord, correct me not in thy anger, and chastise me not in thy wrath.

2 Ten misericordia de mi, Señor, porque estoy débil; sáname, Señor, porque estoy enfermo hasta los huesos.

Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for I am withering away; heal me, O Lord; for my bones are terrified.

3 Tiemblo de miedo. ¿Hasta cuándo Señor, harás algo?

And my soul is greatly terrified; but thou, O Lord, how long yet—?

4 Vuélvete hacia mi, Señor, ¡y rescátame! ¡Sálvame por tu gran amor!

Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: help me for the sake of thy kindness.

5 Porque nadie recuerda cuando ya está muerto. ¿Quién podrá alabarte desde el sepulcro? (Sheol h7585)

For in death men do not remember thee: in the nether world, who shall give thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)

6 Mis gemidos me han consumido. Cada noche mi cama se inunda con mi llanto, y mi sillón rebosa con mis lágrimas.

I am weary with my sighing; I flood every night my bed; With my tears I moisten my couch.

7 De tanto llorar no puedo casi ni ver. Mis ojos se debilitan por la agonía que me causan mis enemigos.

My eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all my assailants.

8 Déjenme en paz, pueblo que hace el mal. Porque el Señor ha escuchado mi llanto.

Depart from me, all ye workers of wickedness; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 El Señor ha escuchado mi ruego de ayuda, y él responde mi oración.

The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will accept my prayer.

10 Todos los que me odian serán vencidos y aterrorizados con gran vergüenza, y huirán con gran humillación.

Ashamed and greatly terrified shall become all my enemies; they will turn round, and be made ashamed in a moment.
