1 Korinčanom 16
1 Torej glede nabirke za svete, kakor sem dal naročilo cerkvam v Galatiji, točno tako storite.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do all of you.
2 Na prvi dan tedna naj vsak izmed vas položi poleg sebe v shrambo, kakor ga je Bog osrečil, da ne bo zbiranj, ko pridem.
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3 In ko pridem, katerekoli boste z vašimi pismi priporočili, te bom poslal, da prinesejo vašo velikodušnost v Jeruzalem.
And when I come, whomsoever all of you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4 Če pa bo primerno, da grem tudi jaz, bodo šli z menoj.
And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5 Torej, ko bom šel skozi Makedonijo, bom prišel k vam; kajti pojdem skozi Makedonijo.
Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6 In lahko bo, da bom ostal, da in prezimil z vami, da me boste lahko spremili na moje potovanje, kamorkoli pojdem.
And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that all of you may bring me on my journey anywhere I go.
7 Kajti ne bom vas torej videl mimogrede; temveč zaupam, da ostanem nekaj časa z vami, če Gospod dovoli.
For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 Toda v Efezu bom ostal do binkošti.
But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 Kajti velika in uspešna vrata so se mi odprla in tam je mnogo nasprotnikov.
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Torej če pride Timótej, glejte, da bo lahko z vami brez strahu, kajti opravlja Gospodovo delo, kakor ga opravljam tudi jaz.
Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Naj ga torej nihče ne prezira, temveč ga spremite v miru, da bo lahko prišel k meni, ker ga pričakujem z brati.
Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 Glede našega brata Apola, sem ga silno prosil, da pride z brati k vam, toda njegova volja sploh ni bila, da pride ob tem času; toda prišel bo, ko bo imel primeren čas.
As concerning our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 Čujte, trdno stojte v veri, obnašajte se kakor možje, bodite močni.
Watch all of you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14 Naj bodo vse vaše stvari narejene z ljubeznijo.
Let all your things be done with love. (agape)
15 Rotim vas, bratje (vi poznate Stefanájevo hišo, da je ta prvenec Ahaje in da so sebe posvetili službi svetim),
I plead to (all of you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints, )
16 da se takšnim podredite in vsakemu, ki pomaga z nami in se trudi.
That all of you submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helps with us, and labours.
17 Vesel sem Stefanájevega, Fortunatovega in Aháikovega prihoda, kajti preskrbeli so to, kar je manjkalo na vaši strani.
I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 Kajti okrepčali so mojega in vašega duha; zatorej jim priznajte, da so takšni.
For they have refreshed my spirit (pneuma) and your's: therefore acknowledge all of you them that are such.
19 Pozdravljajo vas cerkve iz Azije. V Gospodu vas zelo pozdravljata Ákvila in Priska, s cerkvijo, ki je v njuni hiši.
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20 Pozdravljajo vas vsi bratje. Drug drugega pozdravite s svetim poljubom.
All the brethren greet you. Greet all of you one another with an holy kiss.
21 Pozdrav od mene, Pavla, z mojo lastno roko.
The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22 Če kateri človek nima rad Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa, naj bo Anathema Maranatha.
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
23 Milost našega Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa bodi z vami.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
