Книга Судей израилевых 8
1 И рекоша к Гедеону мужие Ефремли: что сие сотворил еси нам, яко не позвал еси нас, егда ходил воевати на Мадиама? И пряхуся с ним сильно.
And they said to him [the] man of Ephraim what? [is] the thing this [which] you have done to us to not to summon us that you went to fight against Midian and they quarreled! with him with force.
2 И рече к ним (Гедеон): что сотворих ныне якоже вы? Не лучше ли гроздец Ефремль, нежели обрание винограда Авиезерова?
And he said to them what? have I done now like you ¿ not good [are] [the] gleanings of Ephraim more than [the] grape harvest of Abiezer.
3 В руку вашу предаде Господь князи Мадиамли, Орива и Зива: и что возмогох сотворити якоже вы? Тогда утолися дух их от него, егда глагола им слово сие.
In hand your he has given God [the] commanders of Midian Oreb and Zeeb and what? have I been able to do like you then it relaxed spirit their from on him when said he the word this.
4 И прииде Гедеон ко Иордану, и прейде сам и иже с ним триста мужей, алчни и утруждени гоняще.
And he came Gideon the Jordan towards [was] passing over he and three hundred the man who [were] with him [were] exhausted and pursuing.
5 И рече мужем Сокхофским: дадите хлебы на пищу мужем сим иже со мною, яко алчни суть: аз же гоню вслед Зевеа и Салмана, царей Мадиамских.
And he said to [the] people of Succoth give please round loaves of bread to the people which [is] at feet my for [are] exhausted they and I [am] pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna [the] kings of Midian.
6 И рекоша князи Сокхофстии: еда рука Зевеа и Салмана ныне в руце твоей, яко дадим воем твоим хлебы?
And he said [the] officials of Succoth ¿ [is] [the] hand of Zebah and Zalmunna now in hand your that we will give to army your bread.
7 И рече Гедеон: не тако: но егда предаст Господь Зевеа и Салмана в руку мою, аз сотру плоти вашя тернием пустынным и волчцами.
And he said Gideon therefore when gives Yahweh Zebah and Zalmunna in hand my and I will thresh flesh your with thorns of the wilderness and with briers.
8 И взыде оттуду во Фануил и глагола к ним такожде. И отвещаша ему мужие Фануили, якоже отвещаша ему мужие Сокхофстии.
And he went up from there Penuel and he spoke to them like this and they answered him [the] men of Penuel just as they had answered [the] men of Succoth.
9 И рече Гедеон мужем Фануилским, глаголя: егда возвращуся с миром, раскопаю столп сей.
And he said also to [the] men of Penuel saying when return I in peace I will tear down the tower this.
10 И Зевей и Салман быша в Каркаре, и полк их с ними до пятьнадесяти тысящ (мужей) оставшихся от всего полка сынов восточных: и умерших бяше сто и двадесять тысящ мужей держащих оружие.
And Zebah and Zalmunna [were] in Karkor and armies their [were] with them about fif-teen thousand all those [who] remained of all [the] army of [the] people of [the] east and those [who] fell [were] one hundred and twenty thousand man [who] drew [the] sword.
11 И взыде Гедеон путем живущих в кущах от востоков прямо Навы и Иегевала: и изби полк, полк же бяше надежен.
And he went up Gideon [the] way of those [who] dwell in tents from [the] east of Nobah and Jogbehah and he attacked the army and the army it was security.
12 И побегоста Зевей и Салман: и гна вслед их, и поима оба царя Мадиамля, Зевеа и Салмана, и весь полк их смяте.
And they fled Zebah and Zalmunna and he pursued after them and he captured [the] two - [the] kings of Midian Zebah and Zalmunna and all the army he routed.
13 И возвратися Гедеон сын Иоасов от рати прежде восхода солнца,
And he returned Gideon [the] son of Joash from the battle from to [the] ascent of Heres.
14 и ят отрочища от мужей Сокхофских и вопроси его: и вписа от него имена князей Сокхофских и старейшин их, седмидесяти и седми мужей.
And he captured a young man one of [the] men of Succoth and he enquired of him and he wrote down to him [the] officials of Succoth and elders its seventy and seven man.
15 И прииде Гедеон ко князем Сокхофским и рече им: се, Зевей и Салман, ихже ради укористе мя, глаголюще: еда рука Зевеа и Салмана ныне в руце твоей, яко дадим мужем твоим утруждшымся хлебы?
And he came to [the] men of Succoth and he said here! Zebah and Zalmunna whom you taunted me saying ¿ [is] [the] hand of Zebah and Zalmunna now in hand your that we will give to men your weary bread.
16 И поя князи и старейшины града, и терние от пустыни и волчцы, и сотре ими мужы Сокхофски:
And he took [the] elders of the city and [the] thorns of the wilderness and the briers and he taught with them [the] men of Succoth.
17 и столп Фануилев раскопа, и изби мужы градския.
And [the] tower of Penuel he tore down and he killed [the] men of the city.
18 И рече к Зевею и Салману: какови мужие, ихже избисте в Фаворе? И реша: якоже ты, тако они, подобен ты еси им, яко подобие сынов царевых.
And he said to Zebah and to Zalmunna where? [are] the men whom you killed at Tabor (and they said *L(abh)*) like you like them one [was] like [the] appearance of [the] sons of the king.
19 И рече Гедеон: братия моя и сынове матере моея суть: жив Господь, аще бысте живили их, не убил бых вас.
And he said [were] brothers my [the] sons of mother my they [by] [the] life of Yahweh if you had let live them not I killed you.
20 И рече Иеферу первенцу своему: востав убий их. И не извлече отрочищь меча своего: зане убояся, яко млад бяше.
And he said to Jether firstborn his arise kill them and not he drew the young man sword his for he was afraid for still he [was] a young man.
21 И рече Зевей и Салман: востани убо ты, и сопротивися нам: зане яко муж сила его. И воста Гедеон, и уби Зевеа и Салмана: и взя украшения, яже на выях велблюдов их.
And he said Zebah and Zalmunna arise you and fall on us for [is] like the man strength his and he arose Gideon and he killed Zebah and Zalmunna and he took the ornaments which [were] on [the] necks of camels their.
22 И рекоша мужие Израилстии ко Гедеону: владей нами и ты, и сынове твои, и сынове сынов твоих, яко ты спасл еси нас от руки Мадиамли.
And they said [the] man of Israel to Gideon rule over us both you as well as son your as well as [the] son of son your for you have delivered us from [the] hand of Midian.
23 И рече к ним Гедеон: не возобладаю аз вами, и не возобладает сын мой вами: Господь да владеет вами.
And he said to them Gideon not I will rule I over you and not he will rule son my over you Yahweh he will rule over you.
24 И рече к ним Гедеон: попрошу у вас прошения, и да даст мне всяк муж усерязь от плена своего: яко усерязи златы (мнози) и бяху им, зане Исмаилтяне бяху.
And he said to them Gideon let me ask from you a petition and give to me everyone earring of plunder his for earrings of gold [belonged] to them for [were] Ishmaelites they.
25 И рекоша: дающе дадим. И простре ризу, и ввергоша ту мужие по и усерязю от плена своего.
And they said certainly we will give [them] and they spread out the garment and they threw there towards everyone earring of plunder his.
26 И бысть вес усерязь златых, ихже испроси, тысяща и седмь сот сикль злата, кроме плениц и монист (енфофовых), и риз багряных, яже на царех Мадиамлих, и кроме чепей златых, яже на выях велблюдов их.
And it was [the] weight of [the] earrings of gold which he asked for one thousand and seven hundred gold apart from the ornaments and the pendants and [the] garments of purple that [were] on [the] kings of Midian and apart from the necklaces which [were] on [the] necks of camels their.
27 И сотвори от них Гедеон ефуд, и постави его во граде своем во Ефрафе. И соблуди весь Израиль по нем тамо: и бысть Гедеону и всему его дому в соблазн.
And he made it Gideon into an ephod and he placed it in city his in Ophrah and they acted as prostitutes all Israel after it there and it became for Gideon and for household his a snare.
28 И смирися Мадиам пред сыны Израилевыми, и не приложиша воздвигнути главы своея. И бысть в покои земля четыредесять лет, во дни Гедеоновы.
And it was subdued Midian before [the] people of Israel and not they repeated to lift up head their and it was at peace the land forty year[s] in [the] days of Gideon.
29 И иде Иероваал сын Иоасов, и седе в дому своем.
And he went Jerub-Baal [the] son of Joash and he dwelt in own house his.
30 И Гедеону быша седмьдесят сынов, изшедшии от чресл его, яко жены бяху многи ему.
And to Gideon they belonged seventy sons [who] came out of thigh his for wives many they belonged to him.
31 И подложница его яже в Сикиме и сия роди ему сына, и нарече имя ему Авимелех.
And concubine his who [was] in Shechem she bore to him also she a son and he made name his Abimelech.
32 И умре Гедеон сын Иоасов в старости блазе, и погребеся во гробе Иоаса отца своего, во Ефрафе, отца Езриева.
And he died Gideon [the] son of Joash in old age good and he was buried in [the] tomb of Joash father his in Ophrah of [the] Abi-ezrite[s].
33 И бысть егда умре Гедеон, и совратишася сынове Израилевы и соблудиша вслед Ваалима, и сотвориша себе со Ваалверифом завет, да им будет бог:
And it was just when he had died Gideon and they turned back [the] people of Israel and they acted as prostitutes after the Baals and they made for themselves Baal-Berith into god.
34 и не воспомянуша сынове Израилевы Господа Бога своего, избавльшаго их из руки всех враг их окрестных:
And not they remembered [the] people of Israel Yahweh God their who delivered them from [the] hand of all enemies their from round about.
35 и не сотвориша милости с домом Иеровааловым, сей есть Гедеон, по всей благостыни его, юже сотвори со Израилем.
And not they did loyalty with [the] house of Jerub-Baal Gideon according to all the good which he had done with Israel.
