Деяния святых апостолов 5
1 Муж же некий, Ананиа именем, с Сапфирою женою своею, продаде село
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sappirah, his wife, sold a possession,
2 и утаи от цены, сведущей и жене его: и принес часть некую, пред ногами Апостол положи.
and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part, and put it at the apostles' feet.
3 Рече же Петр: Анание, почто исполни сатана сердце твое солгати Духу Святому и утаити от цены села?
But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Сущее тебе не твое ли бе, и проданое не в твоей ли власти бяше? Что яко положил еси в сердцы твоем вещь сию? Не человеком солгал еси, но Богу.
While you kept it, did not it remain your own? After it was sold, was not it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to people, but to God."
5 Слышав же Ананиа словеса сия, пад издше: и бысть страх велик на всех слышащих сия.
Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard it.
6 Вставше же юноши взяша его и изнесше погребоша.
The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.
7 Бысть же яко трием часом минувшым, и жена его не ведущи бывшаго вниде.
About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.
8 Отвеща же ей Петр: рцы ми, аще на толице село отдаста? Она же рече: ей, на толице.
Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much." She said, "Yes, for so much."
9 Петр же рече к ней: что яко согласистася искусити Духа Господня? Се, ноги погребших мужа твоего при дверех, и изнесут тя.
But Peter asked her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."
10 Паде же абие пред ногама его и издше: вшедше же юноши обретоша ю мертву и изнесше погребоша близ мужа ея.
She fell down immediately at his feet, and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.
11 И бысть страх велик на всей церкви и на всех слышаших сия.
Great fear came on the whole church, and on all who heard these things.
12 Руками же Апостолскими быша знамения и чудеса в людех многа: и бяху единодушно вси в притворе Соломони:
By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 от прочих же никтоже смеяше прилеплятися им, но величаху их людие.
None of the rest dared to join them, however the people honored them.
14 Паче же прилагахуся верующии Господви, множество мужей же и жен,
More believers were added to the Lord, crowds of both men and women.
15 яко и на стогны износити недужныя и полагати на постелех и на одрех, да грядущу Петру поне сень его осенит некоего от них.
They even carried out the sick into the streets, and put them on cots and mats, so that as Peter came by at the least his shadow would fall on some of them.
16 Схождашеся же и множество от окрестных градов во Иерусалим, приносяще недужныя и страждущыя от дух нечистых, иже исцелевахуся вси.
Crowds also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people, and those who were tormented by unclean spirits: and they were all healed.
17 Востав же архиерей и вси иже с ним, сущая ересь саддукейская, исполнишася зависти,
But the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy,
18 и возложиша руки своя на Апостолы и послаша их в соблюдение общее.
and laid hands on the apostles, and put them in public custody.
19 Ангел же Господень нощию отверзе двери темницы, извед же их, рече:
But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out, and said,
20 идите и ставше глаголите в церкви людем вся глаголы жизни сея.
"Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."
21 Слышавше же внидоша по утренице в церковь и учаху. Пришед же архиерей и иже с ним, созваша собор и вся старцы от сынов Израилевых и послаша во узилище, привести их.
When they heard this, they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and those who were with him, and called the council together, and all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 Слуги же шедше не обретоша их в темнице, возвращшежеся возвестиша,
But the officers who came did not find them in the prison. They returned and reported,
23 глаголюще, яко темницу убо обретохом заключену со всяким утверждением и блюстители стоящыя пред дверьми: отверзше же, внутрь ни единаго обретохом.
"We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside."
24 Якоже слышаша словеса сия архиерей же и воевода церковный и первосвященницы, недоумевахуся о них, что убо будет сие.
Now when the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.
25 Пришед же некто возвести им, глаголя, яко се, мужие, ихже всадисте в темницу, суть в церкви стояще и учаще люди.
One came and told them, "Look, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people."
26 Тогда шед воевода со слугами, приведе их не с нуждею, бояхуся бо людий, да не камением побиют их:
Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
27 приведше же их, поставиша на сонмищи, и вопроси их архиерей, глаголя:
When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them,
28 не запрещением ли запретихом вам не учити о имени сем? И се, исполнисте Иерусалим учением вашим и хощете навести на ны кровь Человека Сего.
saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood on us."
29 Отвещав же Петр и Апостоли реша: повиноватися подобает Богови паче, нежели человеком:
But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than people.
30 Бог отец наших воздвиже Иисуса, Егоже вы убисте, повесивше на древе:
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree.
31 Сего Бог Началника и Спаса возвыси десницею Своею, дати покаяние Израилеви и оставление грехов:
God exalted him with his right hand to be a Leader and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 и мы есмы Того свидетелие глагол сих, и Дух Святый, Егоже даде Бог повинующымся Ему.
We are witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."
33 Они же слышавше распыхахуся и совещаша убити их.
But they, when they heard this, were furious, and wanted to kill them.
34 Востав же некий на сонмищи фарисей, именем Гамалиил, законоучитель честен всем людем, повеле вне мало что Апостолом уступити,
But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the men out for a little while.
35 рече же к ним: мужие Израильтяне, внимайте себе о человецех сих, что хощете сотворити:
He said to them, "You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.
36 пред сими бо деньми воста Февда, глаголя быти велика некоего себе, емуже прилепишася числом мужей яко четыреста: иже убиен бысть, и вси, елицы повинушася ему, разыдошася и быша ни во чтоже:
For before these days Todah rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nothing.
37 по сем воста Иуда Галилеанин во дни написания и отвлече люди доволны вслед себе: и той погибе, и вси, елицы послушаша его, разсыпашася:
After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.
38 и ныне, глаголю вам, отступите от человек сих и оставите их: яко аще будет от человек совет сей или дело сие, разорится,
Now I tell you, withdraw from these men, and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of human origin, it will be overthrown.
39 аще ли же от Бога есть, не можете разорити то, да не како и богоборцы обрящетеся.
But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them, and you would be found even to be fighting against God."
40 Послушаша же его, и призвавше Апостолы, бивше запретиша им не глаголати о имени Иисусове и отпустиша их.
They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41 Они же убо идяху радующеся от лица собора, яко за имя Господа Иисуса сподобишася безчестие прияти:
They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.
42 по вся же дни в церкви и в домех не престаяху учаще и благовествующе Иисуса Христа.
Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming that Jesus is the Christ.
