< Mapisarema 9 >
1 Kumutungamiri wokuimba namaimbiro o“Kufa kwoMwanakomana.” Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Ndichakurumbidzai, imi Jehovha, nomwoyo wangu wose; ndichataura pamusoro pezvishamiso zvenyu zvose.
“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
2 Ndichafara nokufarisisa mamuri; ndichaimbira zita renyu nziyo dzokurumbidza, imi Wokumusoro-soro.
I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
3 Vavengi vangu vanodzokera shure; vanogumburwa uye vanoparara pamberi penyu.
When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
4 Nokuti makatsigira kodzero yangu nenyaya yangu; makagara pachigaro chenyu choushe, muchitonga zvakarurama kwazvo.
For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
5 Makatuka ndudzi mukaparadza vakaipa; makadzima zita ravo nokusingaperi.
Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
6 Kuparadzwa kusina magumo kwakakunda muvengi, makadzura maguta avo; kunyange chiyeuchidzo chavo chakaparara.
O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
7 Jehovha anotonga nokusingaperi; akasimbisa chigaro chake choushe kuti atonge.
But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
8 Achatonga nyika nokururama; achatonga marudzi nokururamisira.
And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
9 Jehovha ndiye nhare yavakamanikidzwa, nhare yakasimba panguva yokutambudzika.
The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
10 Vanoziva zita renyu vachavimba nemi, nokuti imi, Jehovha hamuna kumbosiya avo vanokutsvakai.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
11 Imbirai Jehovha nziyo dzokurumbidza, iye agere pachigaro choushe muZioni; paridzai zvaakaita pakati pendudzi.
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
12 Nokuti iye anotsiva ropa anorangarira; haashayiri hanya kuchema kwavanotambudzwa.
For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
13 Haiwa Jehovha, onai kuti vavengi vangu vanonditambudza sei! Ndinzwirei ngoni mundisimudze pamasuo orufu,
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 kuti ndiparidze kurumbidzwa kwenyu mumasuo oMwanasikana weZioni, uye ndigofara muruponeso rwenyu.
In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
15 Ndudzi dzakawira mugomba radzakachera; tsoka dzavo dzakabatwa nemimbure yavakaviga.
Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
16 Jehovha anozivikanwa nokururamisira kwake; vakaipa vakateyiwa namabasa amaoko avo. Higayoni. Sera
The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
17 Vakaipa vanodzokera kuguva, idzo ndudzi dzose dzinokanganwa Mwari. (Sheol )
The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol )
18 Asi vanoshayiwa havangagari vachikanganwikwa, uye tariro yavanotambudzwa haingaparari.
For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Simukai, Jehovha, munhu ngaarege kukunda; ndudzi ngadzitongwe pamberi penyu.
Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
20 Varovei nokutyisa, imi Jehovha; ndudzi ngadzizive kuti vanongova vanhu zvavo. Sera
Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
