< Mapisarema 2 >

1 Ndudzi dzinoitireiko bope? Uye vanhu vanofungireiko zvisina maturo?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 Madzimambo enyika azvigadzirira uye vabati vanoungana pamwe chete kuti vazorwa naJehovha, uye kuti vazorwisa Muzodziwa Wake.
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
3 Vanoti, “Ngatidamburei ngetani dzavo, tigorasa mabote avo.”
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 Iye agere pachigaro choushe chokudenga anoseka; Ishe anovadadira.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5 Ipapo anovatuka mukutsamwa kwake uye anovavhundutsa muhasha dzake, achiti,
Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and trouble them in his sore displeasure.
6 “Ndakagadza Mambo wangu paZioni, gomo rangu dzvene.”
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 Ndichaparidza chirevo chaJehovha, ndichiti: Iye akati kwandiri, “Ndiwe Mwanakomana wangu; nhasi ndava Baba vako.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said to me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Kumbira kwandiri, uye ndichaita kuti ndudzi dzive nhaka yako, migumo yenyika ive yako.
Ask of me, and I will give [thee] the heathen [for] thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
9 Uchavatonga netsvimbo yesimbi; uchavaputsa kuita zvimedu zvimedu sehari.”
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Naizvozvo, imi madzimambo, ngwarai; munyeverwe, imi vabati venyika.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Shumirai Jehovha nokutya, uye mufare nokudedera.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Tsvodai Mwanakomana, kuti arege kutsamwa mukazoparadzwa munzira yenyu, nokuti hasha dzake dzingakurumidza kumuka. Vakaropafadzwa vose vanovanda maari.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
