Psalmi 60
1 Bože, rasrdio si se na nas, rasuo si nas, gnjevio si se; povrati nas.
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
2 Zatresao si zemlju, i razvalio si je; stegni rasjeline njezine, jer se njiha.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
3 Dao si narodu svojemu da pozna ljutu nevolju, napojio si nas vina od kojega se zanesosmo.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
4 Podigni zastavu za one koji te se boje, da uteku od luka,
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
5 Da se izbave mili tvoji. Pomozi desnicom svojom i usliši me.
So that your yadid ·beloved· may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
6 Bog reèe u svetinji svojoj: veseliæu se, razdijeliæu Sihem, i dolinu Sokot razmjeriæu.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Sukkot.
7 Moj je Galad, moj je Manasija, Jefrem je krjepost glave moje, Juda skiptar moj,
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh [Causing to forget] is mine. Ephraim [Fruit] also is the defense of my head. Judah [Praised] is my scepter.
8 Moav èaša moja, iz koje se umivam, na Edoma pružiæu obuæu svoju. Pjevaj mi, Filistejska zemljo!
Moab [From father] is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom [Red]. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
9 Ko æe me odvesti u tvrdi grad? Ko æe me otpratiti do Edoma?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom [Red]?
10 Zar neæeš ti, Bože, koji si nas odbacio, i ne ideš, Bože, s vojskom našom?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.
11 Daj nam pomoæ u tjeskobi. A obrana je èovjeèija uzalud.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
12 Bogom smo jaki; on gazi neprijatelje naše.
Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
