๑ กรินฺถิน: 1

1 ยาวนฺต: ปวิตฺรา โลกา: เสฺวษามฺ อสฺมากญฺจ วสติสฺถาเนษฺวสฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีโศ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย นามฺนา ปฺรารฺถยนฺเต ไต: สหาหูตานำ ขฺรีษฺเฏน ยีศุนา ปวิตฺรีกฺฤตานำ โลกานำ ย อีศฺวรียธรฺมฺมสมาช: กรินฺถนคเร วิทฺยเต

PAUL, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

2 ตํ ปฺรตีศฺวรเสฺยจฺฉยาหูโต ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย เปฺรริต: เปาล: โสสฺถินินามา ภฺราตา จ ปตฺรํ ลิขติฯ

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

3 อสฺมากํ ปิเตฺรศฺวเรณ ปฺรภุนา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน จ ปฺรสาท: ศานฺติศฺจ ยุษฺมภฺยํ ทียตำฯ

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 อีศฺวโร ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ ปฺรสาทํ ปฺรกาศิตวานฺ, ตสฺมาทหํ ยุษฺมนฺนิมิตฺตํ สรฺวฺวทา มทีเยศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทามิฯ

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

5 ขฺรีษฺฏสมฺพนฺธียํ สากฺษฺยํ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย เยน ปฺรกาเรณ สปฺรมาณมฺ อภวตฺ

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

6 เตน ยูยํ ขฺรีษฺฏาตฺ สรฺวฺววิธวกฺตฺฤตาชฺญานาทีนิ สรฺวฺวธนานิ ลพฺธวนฺต: ฯ

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

7 ตโต'สฺมตฺปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ปุนราคมนํ ปฺรตีกฺษมาณานำ ยุษฺมากํ กสฺยาปิ วรสฺยาภาโว น ภวติฯ

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

8 อปรมฺ อสฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ทิวเส ยูยํ ยนฺนิรฺทฺโทษา ภเวต ตทรฺถํ เสอว ยาวทนฺตํ ยุษฺมานฺ สุสฺถิรานฺ กริษฺยติฯ

Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 ย อีศฺวร: สฺวปุตฺรสฺยาสฺมตฺปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺยำศิน: กรฺตฺตุํ ยุษฺมานฺ อาหูตวานฺ ส วิศฺวสนีย: ฯ

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

10 เห ภฺราตร: , อสฺมากํ ปฺรภุยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย นามฺนา ยุษฺมานฺ วินเย'หํ สรฺไวฺว รฺยุษฺมาภิเรกรูปาณิ วากฺยานิ กถฺยนฺตำ ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย ภินฺนสงฺฆาตา น ภวนฺตุ มโนวิจารโยไรเกฺยน ยุษฺมากํ สิทฺธตฺวํ ภวตุฯ

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

11 เห มม ภฺราตโร ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย วิวาทา ชาตา อิติ วารฺตฺตามหํ โกฺลยฺยา: ปริชไน รฺชฺญาปิต: ฯ

For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12 มมาภิเปฺรตมิทํ ยุษฺมากํ กศฺจิตฺ กศฺจิทฺ วทติ เปาลสฺย ศิโษฺย'หมฺ อาปโลฺล: ศิโษฺย'หํ ไกผา: ศิโษฺย'หํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ศิโษฺย'หมิติ จฯ

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13 ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย กึ วิเภท: กฺฤต: ? เปาล: กึ ยุษฺมตฺกฺฤเต กฺรุเศ หต: ? เปาลสฺย นามฺนา วา ยูยํ กึ มชฺชิตา: ?

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

14 กฺริษฺปคาเยา วินา ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย'นฺย: โก'ปิ มยา น มชฺชิต อิติ เหโตรหมฺ อีศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทามิฯ

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

15 เอเตน มม นามฺนา มานวา มยา มชฺชิตา อิติ วกฺตุํ เกนาปิ น ศกฺยเตฯ

Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

16 อปรํ สฺติผานสฺย ปริชนา มยา มชฺชิตาสฺตทนฺย: กศฺจิทฺ ยนฺมยา มชฺชิตสฺตทหํ น เวทฺมิฯ

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

17 ขฺรีษฺเฏนาหํ มชฺชนารฺถํ น เปฺรริต: กินฺตุ สุสํวาทสฺย ปฺรจารารฺถเมว; โส'ปิ วากฺปฏุตยา มยา น ปฺรจาริตวฺย: , ยตสฺตถา ปฺรจาริเต ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย กฺรุเศ มฺฤตฺยุ: ผลหีโน ภวิษฺยติฯ

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

18 ยโต เหโต เรฺย วินศฺยนฺติ เต ตำ กฺรุศสฺย วารฺตฺตำ ปฺรลาปมิว มนฺยนฺเต กิญฺจ ปริตฺราณํ ลภมาเนษฺวสฺมาสุ สา อีศฺวรียศกฺติสฺวรูปาฯ

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 ตสฺมาทิตฺถํ ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ชฺญานวตานฺตุ ยตฺ ชฺญานํ ตนฺมยา นาศยิษฺยเตฯ วิโลปยิษฺยเต ตทฺวทฺ พุทฺธิ รฺพทฺธิมตำ มยา๚

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20 ชฺญานี กุตฺร? ศาสฺตฺรี วา กุตฺร? อิหโลกสฺย วิจารตตฺปโร วา กุตฺร? อิหโลกสฺย ชฺญานํ กิมีศฺวเรณ โมหีกฺฤตํ นหิ? (aiōn g165)

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn g165)

21 อีศฺวรสฺย ชฺญานาทฺ อิหโลกสฺย มานวา: สฺวชฺญาเนเนศฺวรสฺย ตตฺตฺวโพธํ น ปฺราปฺตวนฺตสฺตสฺมาทฺ อีศฺวร: ปฺรจารรูปิณา ปฺรลาเปน วิศฺวาสิน: ปริตฺราตุํ โรจิตวานฺฯ

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22 ยิหูทียโลกา ลกฺษณานิ ทิทฺฤกฺษนฺติ ภินฺนเทศียโลกาสฺตุ วิทฺยำ มฺฤคยนฺเต,

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23 วยญฺจ กฺรุเศ หตํ ขฺรีษฺฏํ ปฺรจารยาม: ฯ ตสฺย ปฺรจาโร ยิหูทีไย รฺวิฆฺน อิว ภินฺนเทศีไยศฺจ ปฺรลาป อิว มนฺยเต,

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24 กินฺตุ ยิหูทียานำ ภินฺนเทศียานาญฺจ มเธฺย เย อาหูตาเสฺตษุ ส ขฺรีษฺฏ อีศฺวรียศกฺติริเวศฺวรียชฺญานมิว จ ปฺรกาศเตฯ

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25 ยต อีศฺวเร ย: ปฺรลาป อาโรปฺยเต ส มานวาติริกฺตํ ชฺญานเมว ยจฺจ เทารฺพฺพลฺยมฺ อีศฺวร อาโรปฺยเต ตตฺ มานวาติริกฺตํ พลเมวฯ

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 เห ภฺราตร: , อาหูตยุษฺมทฺคโณ ยษฺมาภิราโลกฺยตำ ตนฺมเธฺย สำสาริกชฺญาเนน ชฺญานวนฺต: ปรากฺรมิโณ วา กุลีนา วา พหโว น วิทฺยนฺเตฯ

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 ยต อีศฺวโร ชฺญานวตสฺตฺรปยิตุํ มูรฺขโลกานฺ โรจิตวานฺ พลานิ จ ตฺรปยิตุมฺ อีศฺวโร ทุรฺพฺพลานฺ โรจิตวานฺฯ

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 ตถา วรฺตฺตมานโลกานฺ สํสฺถิติภฺรษฺฏานฺ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อีศฺวโร ชคโต'ปกฺฤษฺฏานฺ เหยานฺ อวรฺตฺตมานำศฺจาภิโรจิตวานฺฯ

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 ตต อีศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาตฺ เกนาปฺยาตฺมศฺลาฆา น กรฺตฺตวฺยาฯ

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

30 ยูยญฺจ ตสฺมาตฺ ขฺรีษฺเฏ ยีเศา สํสฺถิตึ ปฺราปฺตวนฺต: ส อีศฺวราทฺ ยุษฺมากํ ชฺญานํ ปุณฺยํ ปวิตฺรตฺวํ มุกฺติศฺจ ชาตาฯ

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

31 อเตอว ยทฺวทฺ ลิขิตมาเสฺต ตทฺวตฺ, ย: กศฺจิตฺ ศฺลาฆมาน: สฺยาตฺ ศฺลาฆตำ ปฺรภุนา ส หิฯ

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
