ඉබ්‍රිණඃ 1

1 පුරා ය ඊශ්වරෝ භවිෂ්‍යද්වාදිභිඃ පිතෘලෝකේභ්‍යෝ නානාසමයේ නානාප්‍රකාරං කථිතවාන්

God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

2 ස ඒතස්මින් ශේෂකාලේ නිජපුත්‍රේණාස්මභ්‍යං කථිතවාන්| ස තං පුත්‍රං සර්ව්වාධිකාරිණං කෘතවාන් තේනෛව ච සර්ව්වජගන්ති සෘෂ්ටවාන්| (aiōn g165)

in these last days has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages. (aiōn g165)

3 ස පුත්‍රස්තස්‍ය ප්‍රභාවස්‍ය ප්‍රතිබිම්බස්තස්‍ය තත්ත්වස්‍ය මූර්ත්තිශ්චාස්ති ස්වීයශක්තිවාක්‍යේන සර්ව්වං ධත්තේ ච ස්වප්‍රාණෛරස්මාකං පාපමාර්ජ්ජනං කෘත්වා ඌර්ද්ධ්වස්ථානේ මහාමහිම්නෝ දක්‍ෂිණපාර්ශ්වේ සමුපවිෂ්ටවාන්|

He is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification for sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 දිව්‍යදූතගණාද් යථා ස විශිෂ්ටනාම්නෝ (අ)ධිකාරී ජාතස්තථා තේභ්‍යෝ(අ)පි ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨෝ ජාතඃ|

having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

5 යතෝ දූතානාං මධ්‍යේ කදාචිදීශ්වරේණේදං ක උක්තඃ? යථා, "මදීයතනයෝ (අ)සි ත්වම් අද්‍යෛව ජනිතෝ මයා| " පුනශ්ච "අහං තස්‍ය පිතා භවිෂ්‍යාමි ස ච මම පුත්‍රෝ භවිෂ්‍යති| "

For to which of the angels did he say at any time, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father"? And again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"?

6 අපරං ජගති ස්වකීයාද්විතීයපුත්‍රස්‍ය පුනරානයනකාලේ තේනෝක්තං, යථා, "ඊශ්වරස්‍ය සකලෛ ර්දූතෛරේෂ ඒව ප්‍රණම්‍යතාං| "

And again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, "Let all the angels of God worship him."

7 දූතාන් අධි තේනේදම් උක්තං, යථා, "ස කරෝති නිජාන් දූතාන් ගන්ධවාහස්වරූපකාන්| වහ්නිශිඛාස්වරූපාංශ්ච කරෝති නිජසේවකාන්|| "

Of the angels he says, "Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire."

8 කින්තු පුත්‍රමුද්දිශ්‍ය තේනෝක්තං, යථා, "හේ ඊශ්වර සදා ස්ථායි තව සිංහාසනං භවේත්| යාථාර්ථ්‍යස්‍ය භවේද්දණ්ඩෝ රාජදණ්ඩස්ත්වදීයකඃ| (aiōn g165)

But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your Kingdom. (aiōn g165)

9 පුණ්‍යේ ප්‍රේම කරෝෂි ත්වං කිඤ්චාධර්ම්මම් ඍතීයසේ| තස්මාද් ය ඊශ ඊශස්තේ ස තේ මිත්‍රගණාදපි| අධිකාහ්ලාදතෛලේන සේචනං කෘතවාන් තව|| "

You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions."

10 පුනශ්ච, යථා, "හේ ප්‍රභෝ පෘථිවීමූලම් ආදෞ සංස්ථාපිතං ත්වයා| තථා ත්වදීයහස්තේන කෘතං ගගනමණ්ඩලං|

And, "In the beginning, Lord, you established the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.

11 ඉමේ විනංක්‍ෂ්‍යතස්ත්වන්තු නිත්‍යමේවාවතිෂ්ඨසේ| ඉදන්තු සකලං විශ්වං සංජරිෂ්‍යති වස්ත්‍රවත්|

They will perish, but you remain; and they will all wear out like a garment.

12 සඞ්කෝචිතං ත්වයා තත්තු වස්ත්‍රවත් පරිවර්ත්ස්‍යතේ| ත්වන්තු නිත්‍යං ස ඒවාසී ර්නිරන්තාස්තව වත්සරාඃ|| "

As a cloak, you will roll them up, and like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will have no end."

13 අපරං දූතානාං මධ්‍යේ කඃ කදාචිදීශ්වරේණේදමුක්තඃ? යථා, "තවාරීන් පාදපීඨං තේ යාවන්නහි කරෝම්‍යහං| මම දක්‍ෂිණදිග්භාගේ තාවත් ත්වං සමුපාවිශ|| "

But which of the angels has he told at any time, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?"

14 යේ පරිත්‍රාණස්‍යාධිකාරිණෝ භවිෂ්‍යන්ති තේෂාං පරිචර‍්‍ය්‍යාර්ථං ප්‍රේෂ්‍යමාණාඃ සේවනකාරිණ ආත්මානඃ කිං තේ සර්ව්වේ දූතා නහි?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
