Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering to him.

2 Pumapa Nikhuo chu atung zoi tiin ratha chongphuongin mini, thurchi misîrin mini, kin lekhamuthuon sikin mini, abairalin nin mindonna minjêlin le nin jâminzal kelen no roi.

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Ama han pathiena ânbê murdi aninônchu biekna neinun murdi doi a ta, male amananâkin an chunga omin inpâk atih. Pathien Biekin tena luo sên insung a ta, Pathien'n inbê atih.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

5 Nin lâia ko om lâihan ma roi ngei murdi hah nangni ki ril ngâi ti nin riettit khâi loi mini?

Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 Misîrtheiloi Puoloina ha chu atûn hin khom inthupin sin a tho tir zoi ani, aniatachu asûrmintang ngâipu ha a lampui renga lâkpaiin aom mâka chu ahongtung rang hah hongtung no ni.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now restraineth [will] restrain, until he be taken out of the way.

8 Hanchu Puoloipa Inkhat hah hong inlâr a ta, hannirese Pumapa Jisua a juong nôk tena chu a bâiruhu ântêr lehan ama hah that a ta, male minmang atih.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the spirit of his mouth, and will destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Ma Puoloipa Inkhat hah Soitan ranak râtna leh hong suok a ta, sininkhêlngei le kamâmruoingei arothol jât tamtak sin a ta,

[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and lying wonders,

10 male ânmangrip rang ngei chunga huongna siettak jât dadang mang atih. An inmangripna rang abi chu sanminringa an omna rang chongtak hah an modôm loi sik le lungkham an mu loi sika ani.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 Masikin chongnôk an iemna rangin Pathien'n dikloina sinthotheina ranak an kôm a tîra.

And for this cause God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 Asikchu tutu khom chongtak iem loia, sietna tienga râisâninshak uol ngei han theiloi an chang theina rangin ani.

That they all may be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 Pumapa'n a lungkham ngâi nangni, lâibungngei le sarnungei, nangni rangin zoratin Pathien kôm râisânchong kin misîr ngêt ngâi ani. Ratha sinthotheinân a mi inthieng ni rang le chongtaka nan taksônna sika sanminringna chang masa rangin Pathien'n nangni thang ani.

But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, beloved by the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth:

14 Pathien'n ma nin kôma Thurchi Sa kin misîr sai renga han nangni a koia; ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista kôma roiinpuina nin man rangtum hah chang rangin nangni a koi ani.

To which he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 Masikin, kin lâibungngei le sarnungei, inding det ungla, thurchi misîr le lekhamuthuona chongtak nangni kin minchu ngei hah anruonin mutu mindet tit roi.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

16 Ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista nanâk le Pathien ei Pa, mi lungkhamna le mi moroina inthûlngâiloi hâina le sabeina det mi pêkpu han, (aiōnios g166)

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, (aiōnios g166)

17 sin asa tho bang rang le asa ti rangin nin mulungrîlngei mohôkin nangni man rât rese.

Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
