Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all towards each other aboundeth;

4 Masika han keini nanâkin Pathien koiindangngei lâia nin chungroia nangni kin song ngâi ani. nuomlonangei le dûktongnangei nin tuonglâi khomin iemnân nin dier tit ngâi sikin nangni kin song ngâi ani.

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

5 Ma nin tuongnangei nâm hah Pathien roijêkna diktie riet minthâr theina le ama Rêngram mi nin hongni theina ranga ani.

[Which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

6 Pathien chu adik hih tho a ta: dûk nangni mintong ngei chunga dûktongna juong chôi atih,

Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8 Pathien pomloipu ngei le ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista Thurchi Sa jômloi ngei hah meidon leh dûk tho ngei atih.

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Mangei han Pumapa makung renga le a râtna roiinpuitak renga sensâiin kumtuong inmangna dûktongna tuong an tih, (aiōnios g166)

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (aiōnios g166)

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired by all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

11 Masika han nin ta rangin zoratin chubai kin tho bang ngâi. Nangni a koi lam anghan pomtheiruo ringnun nin dôn theina rang le i-ih asana rang le taksônna nin sin zoina ranga nin ôina murdia a sinthotheinân tuon nangni mintung pe theina rangin Pathien kôm kin ngên ngâi ani.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:

12 Ma angdênin ei Pathien le ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista moroina jârin nangni renga ei Pumapa Jisua riming hah roiinpuina chang a ta, male nangni khomin a kôm renga chang thei nin tih.

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
