< 1 John 3 >
1 En ta u, khodôr tak mo Pa mi lungkham hi! Mi lungkhamna lien rai sikin Pathien nâingeiin mi be zoi ani, male ma anghan a nâingei eini zoi. Hima sika hin rammuolin mi riet loi ani: Pathien a riet loi sikin.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of YHWH! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
2 Ka mal moroitak ngei, atûn hin Pathien nâingei ei ni zoi, aniatachu, imo ei hongni rang ti chu lân thâr tak mak. Aniatachu, Khrista a juong inlâr tika chu ama angin om ei tih, ti chu ei riet, ama chu anina anghan adiktakin ei mu rang sikin.
Beloved, now we are children of YHWH; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 Tukhomin Khrista taka sabeina dôn kaiin chu Khrista ânthieng anghan an inthieng ngâi ani.
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
4 Tutu khom nunsie ngei tho kai chu Pathien Balam a siet ani, asikchu nunsie hih balam sietna ani.
Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 Khrista hah nunsie ngei lâk pai rangin a juong inlâr zoi ti nin riet, male ama kôm han chu nunsie reng om mak.
And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 Masikin tukhom Khrista leh inzomin a om tittin chu nunsie tho ngâi khâi mak; aniatachu tukhom nunsie a la tho bangin chu ama hah mu maka aninônchu riet khom riet tet mak ani.
Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Ka nâingei, tutên nangni huong no rese ngei! Tukhom adik sinpu chu midik ania, Khrista hah adik anghan.
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
8 Tukhom nunsie a la tho bangin chu Diabol ta ani, Diabol chu aphut renga nunsie a tho sikin. Pathien Nâipasal a juong inlangna abitak chu, Diabol sintho ngei minmang rang hih ani.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of YHWH was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Tukhom Pathien nâingei chu nunsie tho ngâi khâi mak ngei, Pathien nina tatak hah an nia han aom tita, male Pathien hih an Pa ani sikin, nunsie tho thei ngâi khâi mak ngei.
Whoever has been born of YHWH does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of YHWH.
10 Mahin Pathien nâingei le Diabol nâingei an teina ânthârna ani: adik sin loi ngei murdi le midang lungkham loi ngei chu Pathien nâingei nimak ngei.
In this the children of YHWH and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of YHWH, nor is he who does not love his brother.
11 Aphut renga chong nin riet ha: inkhat le inkhat ên lungkham inlôm ngêt rang tih hi ani.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
12 Eini chu Cain anghan chu om tet no u; ama chu Asaloi Inkhatpa ta ania, male a nâipa lele Abel a that ani. Ithomo Cain'n a thata? A sintho ngei ha chu asaloi ania, a nâipa sintho ngei ha chu adik sikin ani.
not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
13 Masikin ka lâibungngei le sarnu ngei, rammuol mingeiin nangni an mumâkin chu kamâm no roi.
Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
14 Ei lâibungngei le sarnu ngei ei lungkham sikin thina renga hong jôkin ringna han ei lût zoi tiin ei riet ani. Tukhom lungkhamna dôn loi chu thina sinthotheina nuoia a la om tit ani.
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
15 Tutu khom a lâibungngei mumâkngei chu mithatngei an ni, male mithatngei kumtuong ringna man ngâi mak ngei iti nin riet. (aiōnios )
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (aiōnios )
16 Ma hin lungkhamna hih imo ani ti chu ei riet: Khrista'n eini rangin a ringna a pêka. Hanchu, eini khom ma anghan, ei lâibungngei le sarnu ngei rangin ei ringna pêk rang hi êntâng ani!
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 Minei ngeiin lâibung mini sarnu mini ânsamin mu senla, hannoma anni ngei doiin an mulungngei khâr senla ngeia, Pathien kin lungkham inti thei no ni ngei.
But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of YHWH abide in him?
18 Ka nâingei, ei lungkhamna hih chongbâingei le mûra ti vaiin ni no senla; lungkhamna diktak, sinthôn minlang ngâi nirse.
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
19 Hanchu, ma anghin, eini chu chongtak ta eini ti riet thei ei ta; ma anghin Pathien makunga ngamin ei om rang ani.
And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
20 Ei sielesarietnân asie mimintumin chu, Pathien chu ei sielesarietna nêkin a roiinpui uola neinuntin a riet let ngâi ei riet ani.
For if our heart condemns us, YHWH is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
21 Masikin ku ruol midit om ngei, ei sielesarietnân asie mimintum nôn chu, Pathien makunga hâina ei dôn ani.
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward YHWH.
22 A chongpêkngei ei jôma, a râisân rang lam ei sin ngâi sikin ei ngên murdi a kôm renga ei man ngâi ani.
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
23 A chongpêkngei chu a Nâipasal Jisua Khrista ei iema, Khrista chongpêk mi pêk anghan inkhat le inkhat ên lungkham inlom hih ani.
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Yahushua the Messiah and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
24 Tukhom Pathien chongpêkngei ajômpu chu Pathien leh inzomin an oma, Pathien khom anni leh inzomin aom ngâi ani. Male Pathien'n Ratha mi pêk sikin Pathien leh inzomin ei om ti ei riet ani.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
