Efeseni 3
1 De aceea, eu, Pavel, sunt prizonierul lui Hristos Isus pentru voi, neamurilor,
For this cause [[I bend my knees]], I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you gentiles;
2 dacă ați auzit despre administrarea harului lui Dumnezeu, care mi-a fost dat față de voi,
if, indeed, ye heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given me toward you,
3 și despre faptul că, prin revelație, mi s-a făcut cunoscut misterul, așa cum am scris mai înainte în puține cuvinte,
that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
4 și prin care, când citiți, puteți pricepe înțelegerea mea în misterul lui Hristos,
whereby, when ye read, ye may perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ;
5 care în alte generații nu a fost făcut cunoscut fiilor oamenilor, așa cum a fost descoperit acum sfinților Săi apostoli și profeți în Duhul Sfânt,
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 că neamurile sunt părtașe la moștenire și la trup și părtașe la făgăduința Lui în Hristos Isus prin Buna Vestire,
that the gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel;
7 de care am fost făcut slujitor, potrivit darului harului lui Dumnezeu care mi-a fost dat, după lucrarea puterii Lui.
of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God, given to me according to the effectual working of his power.
8 Mie, cel mai mic dintre toți sfinții, mi-a fost dat acest har, ca să propovăduiesc neamurilor bogățiile nepătrunse ale lui Hristos
To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to make known among the gentiles the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 și să fac pe toți oamenii să vadă care este administrarea misterului care de veacuri a fost ascuns în Dumnezeu, care a creat toate lucrurile prin Isus Hristos, (aiōn g165)
to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which hath been hidden for ages in God, who created all things; (aiōn g165)
10 pentru ca acum, prin adunare, înțelepciunea multiplă a lui Dumnezeu să fie făcută cunoscută principatelor și puterilor din locurile cerești,
to the intent that now to the principalities and powers in the heavenly regions might be known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,
according to his purpose for ages, which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord; (aiōn g165)
12 În El avem îndrăzneală și acces cu încredere, prin credința noastră în El.
in whom we have our boldness and our access in confidence, through faith in him.
13 De aceea vă rog să nu vă pierdeți inima din cauza necazurilor mele pentru voi, care sunt gloria voastră.
Wherefore I entreat you not to be disheartened by the troubles I am suffering for you, since they are your glory.
14 De aceea, îmi plec genunchii înaintea Tatălui Domnului nostru Isus Hristos,
For this cause I bend my knees to the Father,
15 de la care se numește orice familie în ceruri și pe pământ,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth receiveth its name,
16 ca să vă dea, după bogăția slavei Lui, să fiți întăriți cu putere, prin Duhul Său, în lăuntrul vostru,
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 pentru ca Hristos să locuiască în inimile voastre prin credință, pentru ca voi, fiind înrădăcinați și întemeiați în dragoste,
that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, ye having been rooted and grounded in love,
18 să fiți întăriți ca să înțelegeți împreună cu toți sfinții care este lățimea, lungimea, înălțimea și adâncimea,
that ye may be able to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,
19 și să cunoașteți dragostea lui Hristos, care întrece orice cunoștință, ca să fiți plini de toată plinătatea lui Dumnezeu.
and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God.
20 Iar Celui ce poate să facă mai mult decât cerem și decât gândim noi, după puterea care lucrează în noi,
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
