Psalmii 45
1 Mai marelui muzician pe trâmbiță, pentru fiii lui Core, „Maschil,” O cântare despre iubiri. Inima mea revarsă o lucrare bună; vorbesc despre lucrurile pe care le-am făcut referitor la împărat, limba mea este tocul unui scriitor iscusit.
For the chief musician; set to Shoshannim. A psalm of the sons of Korah. A maschil. A song of loves. My heart overflows on a good subject; I will read aloud the words I have composed about the king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2 Tu ești mai frumos decât copiii oamenilor, har este turnat pe buzele tale, de aceea Dumnezeu te-a binecuvântat pentru totdeauna.
You are fairer than the children of mankind; grace is poured onto your lips; therefore we know that God has blessed you forever.
3 Încinge-ți sabia la coapsă, viteazule, cu gloria ta și maiestatea ta.
Put your sword on your side, mighty one, in your glory and your majesty.
4 Și în maiestatea ta călărește cu prosperitate datorită adevărului și blândeții și dreptății; și mâna ta dreaptă te va învăța lucruri înfricoșătoare.
In your majesty ride on triumphantly because of trustworthiness, meekness, and righteousness; your right hand will teach you fearful things.
5 Săgețile tale sunt ascuțite în inima dușmanilor împăratului; prin ele cad oamenii sub tine.
Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under you; your arrows are in the hearts of the king's enemies.
6 Tronul tău, Dumnezeule, este pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna, sceptrul împărăției tale este un sceptru drept.
Your throne, God, is forever and ever; a scepter of justice is the scepter of your kingdom.
7 Tu iubești dreptatea și urăști stricăciunea, de aceea Dumnezeu, chiar Dumnezeul tău, te-a uns cu untdelemnul veseliei mai presus de tovarășii tăi.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions.
8 Toate hainele tale miros a smirnă și arome de aloe și casia, din palatele de fildeș, prin care acestea te-au înveselit.
All your garments smell of myrrh, aloes, and cassia; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.
9 Fiice de împărați erau printre femeile tale de onoare, la dreapta ta împărăteasa a stat în picioare în aur de Ofir.
Kings' daughters are among your honorable women; at your right hand stands the queen clothed in gold of Ophir.
10 Dă ascultare, fiică, și privește și apleacă-ți urechea; și uită de asemenea poporul tău și casa tatălui tău.
Listen, daughter, consider and incline your ear; forget your own people and your father's house.
11 Astfel împăratul va dori mult frumusețea ta, pentru că el este Domnul tău; și lui închină-te.
In this way the king will desire your beauty; he is your master; revere him.
12 Și fiica Tirului va fi acolo cu un dar; chiar cei bogați din popor vor căuta favoarea ta.
The daughter of Tyre will be there with a gift; the rich among the people will beg for your favor.
13 Fiica împăratului este cu totul glorioasă înăuntru, haina ei este din aur brodat.
The royal daughter in the palace is all glorious; her clothing is worked with gold.
14 Ea va fi adusă la împărat în haine țesute la gherghef, fecioarele, însoțitoarele ei care o urmează, vor fi aduse la tine.
She will be led to the king in embroidered dress; the virgins, her companions who follow her, will be brought to you.
15 Ele vor fi aduse cu veselie și bucurie, vor intra în palatul împăratului.
They will be led by gladness and rejoicing; they will enter into the king's palace.
16 În locul părinților tăi vor fi copiii tăi, pe care să îi faci prinți pe tot pământul.
In the place of your fathers will be your children, whom you will make princes in all the earth.
17 Voi face ca numele tău să fie amintit din generație în generație, de aceea poporul te va lăuda pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna.
I will make your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the peoples will give you thanks forever and ever.
